Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

CD and DVD are used normally in this day. In order to store CD case, it is known to use a rack, which facilitates to store the case and to display it easily. But the known rack is usually a fixed and rigid structure, which occupies a certain space. If there are several racks, they are independent and are inconvenient for storage.

Accordingly, the present invention is to provide a CD rack, which can be a unit for storing CD cases and one rack can be engaged together with another one elastically to form a rack assembly.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The following drawings indicate the character and improvement of the present invention.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a unit of a CD rack according to the present invention.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a CD rack system including two rack units.

FIG. 3 is a front plan view of FIG. 2.

FIG. 4 is a side view of FIG. 3.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring firstly to FIG. 1, the present invention relates to a unit of a CD rack (1), which includes two horizontal rods (6) having both ends extended downward to form supporting legs (3). The lower end of the leg (3) is bent to become a curved end (5). A lateral rod (4) is provided therebetween. A fence (2) is mounted on one of the horizontal rod (6) for storing CD cases. It can be found that the CD rack unit is capable of storing CD cases or DVD cases conveniently.

Referring to FIGS. 2 and 4, it discloses an embodiment of the present invention, which includes two CD rack unit (1), (1′) to form a rack system. The upper rack unit (1) has the curved end (5) of the leg (3) to engage elastically with upper portion of the leg (3′) of the lower rack unit (1′). The lateral rod (4) of the upper rack unit (1) is placed on the two horizontal rods (6′) of the lower rack unit (1′). The two rack units (1), (1′) are therefore engaged together securely to form a rack system.

It can be understood that three rack units are capable of being engaged together to form a new rack system easily. When the rack units are not to be used, they can be disassembled and stored with only a small space. Accordingly, the present invention obtains utility for use and should be allowed for patent.
