Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Field of the Invention

The invention relates to a multi-purpose handle bar, especially one that can be used with a normal shopping bag so that a user won't feel pain or discomfort in his fingers from the strain of the weight of a loaded bag. In addition, the handle bar can also be used to carry a bag sideways on the user's shoulder.

( b ) Description of the Prior Art

Shopping bags are essential in our daily life; however, when the bag becomes too heavy, the weight puts a great strain on the fingers bringing pain and discomfort—more so to ladies or children whose finger are too slender for the weight. People ordinarily don't have bags with comfortable handles at all times so that carrying a heavy bag is a hard problem to solve.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

The invention relates to a portable and easy-to-use handle bar that can be placed in a pocket and become useful when shopping. The user can use the handle bar with the shopping bag to lessen the strain and weight and to make carrying more comfortable.

Another purpose of the invention relates to providing for a shoulder strap to work when the user finds the bag too heavy to carry with hands or when the user has no hand available to carry the bag. The user can use the handle bar immediately to carry the load on his shoulder.

To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiment.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the entire structural combination according to the invention.

FIG. 2 shows a schematic view of the invention in use with a shopping bag.

FIG. 3 shows a schematic view of the invention being used in combination with a shoulder strap on the shoulder.

FIG. 4 shows part of the structural combination according to the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

To better understand the characteristics and novelties of the invention, descriptions shall be given with the accompanying drawings hereunder.

Referring to FIG. 1, a handle bar 1 of the invention is of a hard, mono-body construction. The handle bar 1 has a U-shape groove 11 and at least one set of force dispersal holes 12 which are horn shaped and round to disperse the weight and force exerted on the handle bar 1, making the handle bar 1 less susceptible to breakage.

Referring to FIG. 2, when putting a handle string 101 of a shopping bag 100 on the groove 11 of the handle bar 1, the user won't feel pain or discomfort from the strain of the handle string 101 when carrying the shopping bag 100. Shops usually provide bags that have the handle string 101 to consumers, and the materials of the bag can be of plastic, paper, or other materials.

Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the handle bar 1 has two snap holes 13 at both ends of the handle bar 1 for snaps 201 of the shoulder strap 200 to work when carrying shopping bag 100 using the shoulder strap 200.

The handle bar 1 of the invention is ergonomically curved for comfort, and the edges of the handle bar 1 are also curved to prevent user's fingers or the shopping bag from scraping or damage.

In short, the invention is portable and comfortable to use when carrying a shopping bag, more so to those ladies or children having slender fingers. In addition, the invention allows carrying by hand to on the shoulder when used with a shoulder strap.

It is of course to be understood that the embodiment described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the claims.
