Spillproof and shotgun release container
The spill proof and shotgun release container has several functions and benefits. #1 the Container has a screw on lid that holds content from spilling. #2 under the screw off lid Is thin seal that will break away under slight pressure to the container walls. #3 the Bottom of the container will have a pull away tab that is used in conjunction with #2. In short, one example would be a motor oil bottle that when the cap is unscrewed and Inserted into the engine oil receiver, can be squeezed to allow the seal to break open, and then the pull tab on the bottom of said container can be opened to allow air into the container for effortless discharge. This will eliminate oil spilling and produce fast and effortless discharge for customers and technicians.
1. The spill proof and shotgun release container was designed to speed up production times for technicians all around the world and also keep oil residue from leaking onto engines, and eventually onto carports, garages, shop floors and mother earth herself.
2. The break away seal design will allow the customer (technition, handyman, back Yard mechanic, and even women)who need to add oil to the vehicle without spilling any on clothes, engine, or the ground.
3. You pull the container out of the box and twist the top cap to break the outer cap seal
4. You then insert the container top side down into the engine oil receiver and slightly squeeze the container walls until seal opens up.
5. After opening the top seal oil is starting to come out at a regular rate of speed, you then pull open the tab on the bottom of said container to allow air to get in, now it is coming out at a fast rate of speed.
6. The container bottom pull tab will not need to be used if lets say the vehicle needs 5½ qts in the engine. You just go through the regular motions of the old container method.
7. My container will also have a clear sea through area that is measurement marked to tell exactly how much has been extracted, or how much is left in said container.
8. The container size will comply with all current regulations and measurements of the industry designs currently on the market, but not limited to in any way.
9. I have been in the car and service industry for a long time, and this is an invention that will not only save time for the tech, but it is user friendly to everyone and the environment.
10. We could continue to use the old containers that do the job of basicly storing the oil until use, it has been doing this for years. It is time we take the next step in evolving to the environmental and also safer and more productive container for the benefit of our children and the world industry.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Claims
1. A container comprising of a bottom, front, and back panel.
2. A first and second side panel, each extending integrally from the bottom panel.
3. On the top and inverted center mounting funnel extending integrally from the front, back, first side and second side panels.
4. The funnel portion has an opening at the top to form a mouth.
5. The container neck(funnel area) will have an outer ridge that will go down the top of the neck in a spiral motion.
6. A cap assembly will fit over the container neck and will have grooves that match the outer ridge neck portion of said container.
7. The said cap will have a seal at the bottom that when twisted in a counter clockwise motion will break and release to allow the cap to unthread from said container neck.
8. The said cap will have a rough outer texture allowing the user to grip the container cap and remove it.
9. A break away seal that will be on the container neck mouth portion between the cap and container will be present to seal all contents in said container.
10. This break away seal will be a standard thickness around the contact area of said seal and mouth point of the container neck area.
11. Just inside the bond area of said seal will be the fold away point of the seal. This will be in a circular form and will be less thick to allow for bend opening.
12. The seal will have slits that are less thick than the bonding point of the seal for break open capabilities for discharge of fluids.
13. At the center point of said seal will be a small circular break away point the same thickness of #12, this is the focal point of break away seal.
14. On the bottom of said container will be a pull away tab that will be used to allow air into the container.
15. A lid surface having a pre-formed opening smaller than the bottom of said container.
16. A pull tab roughly but not limited to the size of a finger tip.
17. A contact point of said pull tab to the smaller end of the pre-formed opening.
18. When pulling said tab the pre-formed opening will break away from said container bottom, allowing air into said container.
