Description
BACKGROUND

The invention relates to a packaging assembly; and in particular, to a packaging assembly and convenient removal thereof.

During packaging, products are normally covered by a plastic bag to provide protection against damage and dust. The product is then covered with Styrofoam to avoid vibration, and placed into a paper box.

To remove the product from the paper box, the Styrofoam is first removed, then the product within the plastic bag is taken out from the paper box, and finally the product is removed from the plastic bag. Thus, the process for removal of the product from the package is cumbersome.

SUMMARY

In order to address the disadvantages of the aforementioned packaging assembly, the invention provides a method for conveniently removing the packaging assembly.

Another purpose of the invention is to provide a packaging assembly including a combination of a cushioning member and a covering member.

Accordingly, the invention provides a packaging assembly including a container, a covering member, a cushioning member, and an adhesive member. The container receives a product therein. The covering member is disposed in the container to cover the product therein. The cushioning member is disposed in the container and connected with the covering member to protect the product. The adhesive member may be disposed on either the covering member or the cushioning member to combine them. The covering member is removed along with the cushioning member while the cushioning member is removed from the container.

It is understood that the adhesive member may be a double coated adhesive tape or glue, the cushioning member may comprise Styrofoam, the covering member may be a plastic bag, and the container may be a paper box.

In this invention, a method for removing a packaging assembly is provided. The method includes the following steps. A container, a cushioning member, a covering member, and an adhesive member are provided. The covering member covers a product, and the cushioning member and the covering member are located in the container. The cushioning member is adhered to the covering member by the adhesive member. The cushioning member is then removed from the container simultaneously when the covering member, adhered thereto, is removed.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The present invention can be more fully understood by reading the subsequent detailed description and examples with references made to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a packaging assembly disclosed in the invention, wherein a product is received therein;

FIG. 2a is a schematic view of a covering member in FIG. 1, wherein the product is received therein;

FIG. 2b is a schematic view of a combination of the covering member and cushioning members in FIG. 1, wherein the product is received therein; and

FIGS. 3a-3b are schematic views of a method for removing the packaging assembly in FIG. 1.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a packaging assembly 10 disclosed in the invention. The packaging assembly 10 includes a container 11, a covering member 12, two cushioning members 13, and an adhesive member 14. The container 11 receives a product 1, and the covering member 12, the cushioning members 13, and the adhesive member 14 are therein. It is understood that the container 11 may be a paper box.

The covering member 12 is disposed in the container 11 to cover the product 1 therein. The covering member 12 can prevent the product 1 from damage or dust. It is understood that the covering member 12 may be a plastic bag.

Each cushioning members 13 is disposed in the container 12, and is connected with the covering member 12 at the top or bottom side of the covering member to protect the product 1 from vibration. It is understood that the cushioning member 13 may comprise Styrofoam. Additionally, although the cushioning members 13 are disposed on the top and bottom of the product 1 in the figures, they can be disposed on the other sides as well. For example, the cushioning members 13 can be disposed on the left and right sides of the product 1.

The adhesive member 14 is disposed on the outer surface of the covering member 12. The adhesive member 14 is located on the surface, contacting the cushioning member 13, of the covering member 12. It is understood that the adhesive member 14 may be a double coated adhesive tape or glue. Additionally, although the adhesive member 14 is disposed on the top of the covering member 12 in the figures, they can be disposed on the other sides of the covering member 12 based on needs.

Before the removal method is described, the packaging process is first described. The product 1 is covered by the covering member 12 as shown in FIG. 2a. The cushioning members 13 are then combined with the covering member 12 as shown in FIG. 2b. The product 1, along with the cushioning members 13 and the covering member 12, are placed into the container 11 to complete the packaging assembly 10 as shown in FIG. 1. It is noted that one cushioning member 13 adheres to the covering member 12 via the adhesive member 14 in the container 11.

For removal of product 1 from the container 11, the cushioning members 13, adhered to the covering member 12, are first removed from the container 11 as shown in FIG. 3a. At this time, the covering member 12 is also removed concurrently via the adhesive member 14. The product 1 is then separated from the covering member 12 as shown in FIG. 3b, thus completing the removal of the packaging assembly 10.

As stated above, since the covering member is combined with the cushioning member, the packaging assembly can be conveniently removed. Additionally, since the covering member is not separated, injury, danger, or pollution therefrom is avoided.

While the invention has been described by way of example and in terms of the preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiment. To the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements (as would be apparent to those skilled in the art). Therefore, the scope of the appended claims should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar arrangements.
