Cover lid or handle for a urinal having a fresh scent compartment

Abstract

A portable male urinal with handle having a fresh scent compartment includes a basic male urinal container for receiving and storing the urine. The handle assembly for urinal is specially designed to have a plastic bottle cap attached to end of it. The new plastic cap has threads inside the wall area to secure a small low density plastic bottle to it. Also, the handle with bottle assembly is a separate chamber will not fill therefore the plastic cap has a flexible hose attached in the center, which allows the liquid to flow into container. Finally a fresh scented liquid is stored in the plastic bottle so the user can manually squeeze desired amount of liquid into the container.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to a portable male urinal,and more specifically to a portable male urinal having a bottle w/hose assembly attached to the handle. The bottle w/hose assembly permits the user to manually squeeze liquids into the urinal's container for cleaning purposes.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

Portable male urinals for use by individuals in wheelchairs or patients confined to a bed,must use it daily.And basically,such urinals are being used for receiving and/or storing urine in container.A long recognized problem associated with portable male urinals is the need to clean the container when empty. The caretaker not properly cleaning the urinal for a patient can cause unsanitary health conditions. The patient's room or health facility immediately has unpleasant odors,cause by the empty urinal container. In addition,the caretaker not having cleaning liquids available for urinal can result in the risk of further medical problems,such as infections. Therefore, a need exists for a portable male urinal that can clean, disinfect & deodorize the container after each use.

Claims

1. A portable male urinal with handle having a fresh scent compartment comprising:

a basic male urinal container for receiving and storing the urine; and

said handle for urinal is specially designed with plastic bottle cap on end of it;

wherein said cap has threads for securing a small Low density plastic bottle to it;

wherein the handle with bottle assembly is a separate chamber will not fill therefore the bottle cap has a flexible plastic hose attached in the center, which allows the liquid to flow into container.

2. The portable male urinal with handle assembly of claim 1 wherein the plastic hose is designed to go thru inside section of handle by-pass cover lid strap, than into the first side wall of container.

3. The portable male urinal with handle assembly of claim 1 wherein the plastic hose has a snap on and off Yorker top at opening end, which allows the liquid to be released into container.

4. The portable male urinal with handle assembly of claim 1 wherein the fresh scented liquid is stored in the plastic bottle, so user can manually squeeze the desired amount of liquid into container.
