Cover lid or handle for a urinal having a fresh scent compartment

Abstract

A portable male urinal with cover lid having a fresh scent compartment includes a basic male urinal container for receiving and storing the urine. The cover lid assembly for urinal is specially designed to hold a low density plastic hand on top of it. Wherein plastic hand has a neck with threads on the palm area to secure the cover lid to it. The cover lid with hand assembly are two separate items, therefore a screw on flip cap is used to connect them together. In addition a fresh scented liquid is stored inside the plastic hand on top of cover lid. Therefore, the user can manually flip cap to open position and press down on the hand to release liquid into container.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to a portable male urinal and more specifically to a portable male urinal having a cover lid with plastic hand assembly on top of it. The cover lid with hand stores a fresh scented liquid inside, which allows the user to manually press on and release liquids into container for cleaning purposes.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

Portable male urinals for use by individuals in wheelchairs or patients confined to a bed, must use it daily. And basically, such urinals are being used for receiving and/or storing urine in container. A long recognized problem associated with portable male urinals is the need to clean the container when empty. The caretaker not properly cleaning the urinal for a patient can cause unsanitary health conditions. The patient's room or health facility immediately has unpleasant odors, cause by the empty urinal container. In addition, the caretaker not having cleaning liquids available for urinal can result in the risk of further medical problems, such as infections. Therefore, a need exists for a portable male urinal that can clean, disinfect & deodorize the container after each use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1A is showing a basic urinal's cover lid with a {fraction (3/4)} inch hole made in the middle of it. And this now allows the newly designed hand to be attached to the cover lid. Also, the dimensions of cover lid are 3″ long by 2¾″ wide.

FIG. 1B is showing a newly designed lightweight hand placed on top of cover lid thru the {fraction (3/4)} inch hole. And the dimensions of the hand are 3″ long by 2½″ wide. Also, the bottom view of the hand shows a plastic ¾″ by ¾″ hose with cap attached to it.

FIG. 2 is showing a newly designed cover lid with a liquid filled hand on top of it. The scented liquid can be released into the basic urinal by the user pressing down on hand. Also, the cover lid shows side and bottom-view of how the 24 mm flip-top cap releases the scented liquid into the urinal.

FIG. 3 is showing a sideview of our new squeeze bottle handle and hose attached onto urinal. Now, the handle is designed so the exact small-size bottle is able to screw on & off the handle. And this 2 oz bottle gives the user the control over the amount of liquid needed to clean the urinal.

Claims

1. A portable male urinal with cover lid having a fresh scent compartment comprising:

a basic male urinal container for receiving and storing the urine; and

said cover lid for urinal is specially designed with a low density plastic hand on top of it;

wherein said plastic hand has a neck with threads on palm area for securing the cover lid to it.

2. The portable male urinal with cover lid assembly of claim 1 wherein said cover lid with hand assembly are two separate items, connected together by a screw on flip cap.

3. The portable male urinal with cover lid assembly of claim 1 wherein the fresh scented liquid is stored inside the plastic hand on top of cover lid, which allows the user to flip cap to open position and press down on hand to release liquid into container.
