Adjustable fixture for an umbrella
An adjustable fixture for an umbrella includes a sleeve, a cam handle, and a block incorporated with an inner rod and an outer rod of the umbrella. The outer rod is inserted within the sleeve while the inner rod is inserted within the outer rod. The sleeve comprises a connecting wall bossing out from one side of the sleeve and holes on the same side exposing from the connecting wall. The cram handle has a cram at one end pivotally connected to the connecting wall by a pin. The block is located between the cram of the cram handle and the holes of the sleeve. Springs are located between the block and the outer rod. The block is urged by the springs towards the cam of the cam handle. When pushing down the cam handle, the cam urges the block to tighten the inner rod firmly.
This invention relates to an adjustable fixture for an umbrella, and more particularly to an adjustable fixture to control the umbrella to extend or retract in length in an easy and safe manner.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONA conventional umbrella with a length adjustable fixture uses a cam to control the extension and retraction of the umbrella. However, when in a loose status, the sliding of the umbrella still engages with the cam. This deteriorates the material gradually and eventually is going to loose its function.
In view of this, the inventor has derived the present invention to improve the shortcomings
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIt is the primary object of the present invention to provide an adjustable fixture for an umbrella, which eliminates the friction when in a released status.
It is another object of the present invention to provide an adjustable fixture for an umbrella, which is easy to operate.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide an adjustable fixture for an umbrella, which can last longer and is cost effectiveness.
