DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-8, a portable table for a notebook computer in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a main board 1, a cover plate 2 pivotally mounted on the main board 1, and a foldable stand “c” mounted on the main board 1.

The main board 1 has a first face formed with a rectangular receiving recess 11 for receiving a notebook computer “b”. The receiving recess 11 of the main board 1 has a periphery formed with four opposite through holes 111 for passage of two spaced flexible binding straps “a” (see FIGS. 3 and 8) so as to fix the notebook computer “b” in the receiving recess 11 of the main board 1 as shown in FIG. 8. The first face of the main board 1 is formed with a semi-circular receiving slot 12 located beside the receiving recess 11 for receiving the foldable stand “c” when the foldable stand “c” is collapsed. The first face of the main board 1 has a periphery formed with a plurality of storage recesses 13. The main board 1 has a second face having a periphery formed with four opposite through bores 15 for passage of two spaced parallel arranged flexible shoulder belts “d” (see FIGS. 3 and 11) to facilitate the user carrying the portable table as shown in FIGS. 12 and 13.

The cover plate 2 has a first end pivotally mounted on the main board 1 and a second end provided with a hand grip 23. The cover plate 2 has an inner face formed with a rectangular receiving recess 21 aligning with the receiving recess 11 of the main board 1 for receiving the notebook computer “b” and a semi-circular receiving slot 22 aligning with the receiving slot 12 of the main board 1 for receiving the foldable stand “c” when the foldable stand “c” is collapsed.

The foldable stand “c” is mounted on the second face of the main board 1. The second face of the main board 1 is formed with a screw bore 14, and the foldable stand “c” has a top formed with a threaded rod “c1” screwed into the screw bore 14 of the main board 1, thereby fixing the main board 1 on the foldable stand “c”.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 8, the notebook computer “b” is fixed in the receiving recess 11 of the main board 1 by the binding straps “a”, and the collapsed foldable stand “c” is received in the receiving slot 12 of the main board 1. Then, the cover plate 2 is pivoted to cover the main board 1, so that the cover plate 2 is combined with the main board 1. At this time, the notebook computer “b” is received in the receiving recess 21 of the cover plate 2, and the collapsed foldable stand “c” is received in the receiving slot 22 of the cover plate 2.

As shown in FIG. 5, the hand grip 23 of the cover plate 2 facilitates the user carrying the portable table.

As shown in FIG. 6, the shoulder belts “d” of the main board 1 facilitate the user carrying the portable table.

As shown in FIG. 7, the foldable stand “c” is fully expanded outward to support the main board 1, and the cover plate 2 is pivoted outward relative to the main board 1 to expose the notebook computer “b”, so that a user seated on a chair “e” can use the notebook computer “b” supported on the main board 1.

As shown in FIG. 8, the main board 1 is used individually and can be placed into a bag “f”, thereby facilitating the user carrying the portable table.

As shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the main board I is used individually, and the foldable stand “c” is fully expanded to support the main board 1.

As shown in FIGS. 11-13, the shoulder belts “d” of the main board I facilitate the user carrying the portable table and operating the notebook computer “b”.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
