Description

The object of this utility model is to give seniors, children and the public in general the comfort and usage of an arm rest while performing bathroom functions.

Another object of this utility model is to enhance the appearance of the toilet bowl exuding elegance and luxury.

The construction of this toilet bowl arm rest is illustrated by the accompanying drawings wherein like parts are referred to and indicated by like references, numerals and wherein:

FIG. 1—top perspective view.

FIG. 2—top cover of the entire unit.

FIG. 3—arm rests for both ends of the unit

FIG. 4—utility model attachment to the toilet bowl.

FIG. 5—utility model detailed attachment to the toilet bowl

FIG. 6—adjustable arm rest

FIG. 7—perspective of assembled utility model attached to the toilet bowl

Referring to the drawing for more details, the utility model is flat on the back of the toilet bowl seat (1) where the water tank (2) is located. The base of this utility model is a thin plate (3) with two end sides bended vertically upward. The bended parts are where the arm rests are installed. The distance of the base from one end to the other end is wide enough to seat a person. The two front sides of the bended parts are slanting forward to make a longer distance from the back sides to avoid the wiggling motion of the arm rests (4). The utility model is reinforced by two square tubings (5) running continuously from the two sides to the bottom and attached very firmly to the plate (3) to resist the downward and sideward pressure oF the arm rests (4).

The two oval holes (6) of the utility model are exactly on the location of the holes of the toilet bowl seat (1). The toilet bowl seat cover (7) has two bolts (8) attached to it The oval holes (6) of the utility model are bolted in-between the toilet bowl seat (1) and the toilet bowl seat cover (7).

The protruding part (9) which is located in-between the two oval holes (6) is connected to the square tubing (5) reinforcement and sliding down forward to allow the toilet bowl seat cover (7) to open up. The object of this protruding part (8) is to further help against the downward pressure of the arm rests (4).

The three adjustable holes (10) located on both right side and left side at the back of the reinforcement square tubing (5) are located exactly on the sides of the concave parts (11) of the toilet bowl seat (1) One of the three adjustable holes (10) on both sides are bolted (12) to the concave parts (11) at the rear side of the toilet bowl seat (1) by means of a rubber-coated hook (13) whose hole is loosely fitted to the bolt (12) and tightened by a wing nut (14). This will strongly take care of the downward pressure of the whole utility model.

For the arm rests (4) a U-shaped plate (15) is screwed (16) under the back side of the arm rests (4). On the U-shaped plate (16) are three holes (17), one at the left side, one at the right side and one at the center Below the said three holes (17) are two more holes (18) perpendicularly aligned downward for height adjustment of the arm rests (4).

The top of the two vertical sides of the utility model has a U-shaped gap (19) wherein a piece of square hardwood (20) is tightly fitted and three holes (21) are drilled through and (1) through passing through the hardwood and perfectly aligned to the U-shaped plate (15) of the arm rests (4). The hardwood serves to strengthen the two vertical sides of the bent parts of the utility model.

The top cover (22) serves to cover the exposed square reinforcements and enhance the appearance and elegance and provides easy cleaning of the whole utility model.

The dotted line (23) on he arm rest (4) is an extension when the user prepares attaching. the arm rest (4) to the wall with the use of an angle bar (24) screwed (25) to the wall and to the arm rest (4).

From the foregoing, it is apparent that there is herein provided a toilet bowl arm rest which is a practical, helpful and an attractive invention by reason of its construction.

Claims

1. The construction of the toilet bowl arm rest consists of a plate as a base. Welded and attached firmly on top of it are two reinforcement square tubings. Rear and front with its two sides bended up for the installation of the two adjustable arm rest. The bottom part between the two bended parts are wide enough to sit a person. On the front of the bottom part of the unit are two oval holes and the distance of the two holes are exactly the same as the distance of the two holes of the toilet bowl seat and also exactly the same as the two bolts attached to the toilet seat cover. The said two oval holes are bolted in between the two holes of the toilet bowl seat and the toilet bowl seat cover. At the back of the unit are three adjustable holes on the left side and three corresponding adjustable holes on the right side, for adjustment with the width of the back parts of the toilet bowl seat, anchoring it by means of steel rubberized hook and tighten it with steel screw. On the top of the two bended parts of the unit are of U-shape design to allow the two adjustable arm rest to be fitted firmly by means of two or three bolts and nuts.
