CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

There were no patents found through extensive searching on the USPTO web site. It is a known fact there are package-opening applications for opening bags, such as pet food and related products or garden products, construction materials. There are starting strips or strings by tearing for opening packages such as shrink-wrap on music products and pet food bags; none of these are analogous to this patent application. There were no existing patents found that utilize a method for feeding a strip attached to the product to be dispensed, whether cored or a coreless log, to be fed into and through the underside of the dispenser top through the intended opening for dispensing the product through the product container top or lid, enabling the ease of starting the use of the product for the consumer.

Federal Research Statement

There are no federally sponsored research and development loans or grants in the development of this invention.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

The present invention relates to the process of dispensing wet wipes, paper towels, or other products such as plastic bags that are dispensed from a dispensing apparatus that utilizes operation by feeding the corner of the center sheet of the product roll, cored or coreless into the top or dispensing port of the lid of the product dispenser.

Dispensing wet wipes paper towels or other products dispensed in this manner are problematical. It is difficult often to find the corner of the center sheets for these products. The center of roll of these products is often times indented or caved in so that finding the correct sheet to begin use is difficult. In the case of products such as paper towel or bath tissue, the core of the roll must be torn away by the person installing the new roll; the utilization of the start strip would vastly improve the ease of installation for the use of the product being used.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved ease of use of cored or coreless wet wipes, paper products such as paper towels, bath tissues or plastic bags, or refillable cartridges for products dispensed in the manner mentioned.

It is also an object of the present invention to provide the users of such products with the ease and convenience not available to them in products of these types currently available on the market.

Additional objects and advantages of the invention will be set forth in part in the description section, which follows and in part will be obvious from the description, or may be learned from the by the use and practice of the invention. The objects and advantages of the invention may be realized and attained by means of descriptions and combinations pointed out in the appended claims section.

To achieve the objects and in accordance the purpose of the invention as embodied and broadly described here in, a dispenser of wet wipes or other similar products described above which are contained in a dispensing apparatus, dispensing the products from a coreless log or a cored roll or in a refill cartridge or refill roll. These said products dispensing from the center sheet inside the coreless log or cored roll of product being dispensed, providing the user of the product more convenience and ease of use threading the proper sheet through the dispensing port of the lid of the dispenser and enabling proper function of the product feeding through the dispenser in the proper manner.

The invention can be made of a rigid or semi rigid material, or a reinforced section of the product to be dispensed attached to the proper sheet corner for the dispensing of the product, being said products are manufactured and dispensed with a certain number of sheets or items in each packaged dispenser, example: 25 wipes per package and the starting or threading strip being bonded to the sheet corner on the inside of the core. Enabling the user of the product to simply thread the starting or threading strip through.

The underside of the lid or top of the dispenser, allowing the user to simply place the lid or top back on and continue to pull the strip attached to the product through the dispensing port without the difficulty of trying to find the proper sheet and corner to feed the strip through the port. Another feature for the user is that they do not have to get the product on their hands due to digging in the roll of product to find the proper starting sheet.

The length of the starting or threading strip will be dependent on size of the product sheets, being in a cored roll or coreless log and the size of the dispensing unit for each type of product.

Electronic Version 1.2.8]

Feed or starting, threading strip for cored or coreless center feeding dispensed products.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

In reference to the invention, details will be now described as well as accompanied by artwork demonstrating the concept and use of the invention.

As stated earlier the invention is a strip or tag that extends from the corner of a center sheet in a cored or coreless log configuration for dispensing the said product in a center feeding dispensing manner.

It will be apparent to those skilled in the art and knowledge of how center feeding dispensers operate and what is needed to have them function properly. These illustrations will be shown and described in such a way that the function will be shown without having to depart from the scope or spirit of the invention.

The invention being either part of the product being dispensed or being made of another source materiel, such as a poly strip or any other semi rigid or rigid materiel, being bonded to the proper corner of the center sheet in order to begin proper dispensing of the product being used. The invention being attached to the product, during the manufacturing process, before being put into a cored or coreless log dispenser, lies on top of the roll of product. Often during the manufacturing process the tops of the rolls are crushed down making it difficult to find the proper sheet necessary to begin dispensing the product The user of the product simply threads the invention-starting strip through the underside of the dispensing port located in the lid of dispensing container. The user then pulls the starting strip, being attached to the product through the port. As this first sheet of product pulls through the port it also brings through the port the second sheet of the product and dispenses the rest of the roll of product through the dispensing port as intended, continuing until the product container is empty.

This invention enables the users of such products the ability to quickly and easily begin use of the product without struggling to find the proper sheet and corner of the sheet to begin use of the product. The use of the invention in this manner will eliminate wasted sheets of the product used due to improper feeding through the dispensing port. Also for users and products that recommend avoidance of prolonged contact to the skin without gloves, this will expedite the amount of time required for the user to properly prepare the product for use.
