The toilet seat is adapted to be pivotally mounted on a toilet bowl and is specially configured for a person with large buttocks, disabled persons or children. The toilet seat includes a generally planar seat plate, and oval hole in the plate's central region. The plate is adapted to the pivotally mounted to the toilet bowl. Side extensions laterally extend from the seat plate. Each side extension has a lateral outboard end region disposed at an acute angle upwards from the generally planar seat. Each side extension includes a cut-out forming a handle for the person.

The present invention relates to a toilet seat specially configured for a person with large buttocks, persons with a disability and children.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTIONIt is an object of the present invention to provide a specially configured toilet seat, configured for a person large buttocks, which permits that person to better raise or lower himself or herself from the toilet seat.
It is an additional object of the present invention to provide lateral extensions permitting the person, either a large person or a person with a physical disability or children, to better lower himself or herself or raise himself or herself from the seat.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe toilet seat is adapted to be pivotally mounted on a toilet bowl and is specially configured for a person with large buttocks, disabled people and children. The toilet seat includes a generally planar seat plate, and oval hole in the plate's central region. The plate is adapted to the pivotally mounted to the toilet bowl. Side extensions laterally extend from the seat plate. Each side extension has a lateral outboard end region disposed at an acute angle upwards from the generally planar seat. Each side extension includes a cut-out forming a handle for the person.

1. A toilet seat adapted to be pivotally mounted on a toilet bowl and specially configured for users such as a person with large buttocks, disabled persons or children comprising:
- a generally planar seat plate, said seat plate having an oval hole in its central region to permit passage of discharge into said toilet bowl, said seat plate adapted to be pivotally mounted on said toilet bowl;
- side extensions laterally extending from said seat plate, each side extension having a laterally outboard end region disposed at an acute angle upwards from said generally planar seat plate; and
- each side extension having a cut-out thereby forming a respective handle for said user.
2. A toilet seat as claimed in claim 1 wherein said oval hole in said seat plate has a lateral dimension and each lateral extension has a lateral dimension which is approximately the same as said lateral dimension of said oval hole.
3. A toilet seat as claimed in claim 2 wherein said cut-out has a length which equals of exceeds one-half of the length of said oval hole.
4. A toilet seat as claimed in claim 3 wherein the acute angle is less than 10 degrees.
