Description

This application is a Continuation-in-Part of prior U.S. patent application Ser. No. 10/414,623, filed on Apr. 16, 2003, is filed by the same sole inventor of the previous application and is copending therewith. This application claims priority to the previously filed application.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a bed blanket structure to assist in fixing a person's legs, and more particularly, for a bed blanket fitted for laying on a double sized bed to provide an elaborately designed, comfortable foot-holder especially for serving couples during intercourse.

2. Description of the Prior Art

The ordinary spring bed usually has a bed sheet or a straw mat laid on the springs. Because the sheet or straw mat is not firmly fixed to the springs there is a tendency for such a movable cushion to slip away from its position or even drop down to the floor due to ecstatic movement, especially for couples using the bed during sexual intercourse, that results in a disturbance that prevents enjoyment.

For these defects noticeable in the prior art, an improvement is seriously required.

The inventor has dedicated great efforts for years to study and improve upon these defects and has come up with a novel bed blanket structure to assist in maintaining the user's legs in position, as provided in this invention, to eliminate the defect mentioned above.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, it is a main object of the present invention to provide a bed blanket structure to assist in holding or maintaining a user's legs into a fixed position with a foot-hold. The foot-hold assists in maintaining the legs in a fixed or stable position for the person who is overlying the other person and also assists in holding the slippery cushion in place such that the couples can enjoy an amiable and comfortable intercourse.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a bed blanket structure to maintain legs in a fixed position wherein its foot-hold can be integrally fabricated or separately fabricated in portable pieces to be assembled conveniently in time of need.

Still another object of the present invention is to provide a bed blanket structure to maintain legs in a fixed position which is simply constructed to facilitate inexpensive production and which is by no means harmful to the users in any respect.

To achieve these and other objects, the bed blanket structure of the present invention provides a foot-hold at its tail end thereof. This foot-hold is provided with several foot rests formed of wedge shaped supports or crowned stakes to maintain the position of the legs of one who is overlying the other by forcibly pressing his/her soles to hold onto the wedge shaped supports or crowned stakes, thereby keeping an amiable pose of embraced couples in the bed. Furthermore, with the aid of the weight of the other one who lies beneath, the slippage of the overlaid cushion (if any) on the bed blanket can be properly avoided.

The above objects and their advantages of the present invention will become more apparent by describing in detail the preferred embodiments of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

In order to properly understand an embodiment of the present invention, please refer to FIG. 1 through FIG. 3 in which a bed blanket 1 and a foot-hold 2 are shown. The bed blanket 1 is shown where one end 11 of the bed blanket 1 is fixed to the mattress 4 using the coupling mouth 11 while the other end remains free. The bed blanket 1 has a flare shaped coupling mouth 11 formed at its fixed end to be fitted over a mattress 4 like an ordinary bed cover. An adhesive tape or reusable binder 12 is provided on the middle section or free end of the bed blanket 1, and a corresponding affixing face 21, provided with another adhesive tape or reusable binder 22, is formed on the foot-hold 2 side facing against that provided on the bed blanket 1 such that the bed blanket 1 and the foot-hold 2 are firmly bound together.

FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B show several foot-rests 3 of the first embodiment and the wedge shaped supports 31 that are configured in any equivalent strip like shape and are formed on the foot-hold 2 with an appropriated depth, or even completely penetrating the foot-hold 2 so as to serve the user to rest and sustain his/her legs thereon.

As shown in FIG. 1C, in order to further enhance the supporting effect, the tail of the foot-hold 2 may be slightly cambered.

In FIGS. 4A and 4B another embodiment is shown where the bed blanket does not have coupling mouth 11, but rather, the blanket is affixed to one end by wrapping around and then under the mattress, thereby being held in position by the weight of those lying on the blanket and the bed. In this embodiment the foot-hold 2 is engaged or attached to the bed blanket 1 at its middle section. After foot-hold 2 is in place and the fixing end is in position a sheet is placed over the entire mattress, so that it appears that there is nothing different about the bed. When the user wants to use the foot-hold 2 he can simply remove the sheet, thereby accessing the foot-hold 2.

Referring to FIG. 5, when a couple of any age is going to have sexual intercourse the upper-lying person may place his/her legs 5 on the foot-hold 2 to comfortably and stably avoid and prevent slipping of his/her legs 5 by forcibly pressing the soles against the wedge shaped supports 31 to maintain his/her body in a fixed position. The foot-hold 2 is made of a light and tough material, to provide comfort to the sole, and an appropriate resiliency and softness is necessary. In order to ensure secure engagement of the bed blanket 1 to the foot-hold 2, the embodiment uses adhesive tape or a reusable binder combined with the weight of the users.

Referring to FIG. 6, instead of fabricating integrally in one piece, the foot-hold 2 may be assembled by several separately fabricated pedestals 23, each containing an appropriate number of foot rests 3. As for means for assembly, many prior arts are applicable. Here, the above mentioned adhesive tape or self-binder 12 (22) can be preferably selected.

Referring to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, here, the foot rest 3 is formed into crowned stakes 32 and 33 which may be configured into several shapes, all for providing a support for user's legs. FIG. 9 shows how a leg 5 of the upper-lying person is maintained in position by the crowned stake 32.

In all, it emerges from the above description that the present invention provides noteworthy advantages for couples of any age to help them maintain their leg position on an elaborately designed foot-hold so as to prevent their legs from slipping when enjoying sexual intercourse, or otherwise it will degrade the atmosphere of the tender night life for the couple because they are unable to keep an amiable embracing pose.

Many changes and modification in the above described embodiments of the invention can, of course, be carried out without departing from the scope thereof. Accordingly, to promote the progress of science and the useful arts, the invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.
