A system and method for providing universal size of flexible cover for open boxes or plates of any sizes, containing food, to keep the contents fresh and unreachable by flies and other bugs while providing the ability to use the contents without removing said cover using the zipper, comfortable located on the top of that cover.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to open boxes cover, specifically to new and improved system, which enables a user to cover open boxes, like cornflakes, rise and the like, for freshness, to keep away bugs or the like and to use the contents of the open box without removing the zipper box cover.

2. Description of the Related Art

The systems and the methods of the present invention are particularly useful for enabling users to cover open boxes and plates with food for safe and fresh storage while keeping flies and bugs away from the content of the box and providing easy opening of such plastic, or the like, cover.

A variety of systems and methods have been developed over the years for providing alternatives to cover open boxes and plates with food which typically include a hard plastic forms which is very inconvenient to open or soft plastic covers that required to be removed in order to use the contents of the covered box which makes it inefficient and eventually not useful.

It would be desirable to provide a soft plastic, or the like, cover to cover open boxes include shelf food or plates include food ready to be eaten to keep it fresh and untouchable to flies and other bugs, while providing easy and convenient opening of such a cover without removing it from the box or the plate.

The system and the methods of the present invention are particularly useful for covering open boxes and plates where freshness and keeping bugs away is required and at the same time to provide efficient opening without removing the cover.

Therefore, the present invention provides improved systems and methods for providing an efficient and effective soft plastic box cover that keeps the contents fresh and untouchable by bugs, while to use the contents the user doesn't have to remove the cover. The inventions disclosed herein satisfy these and other needs, still further objects and advantages of these inventions will become apparent from a consideration of the drawing and ensuing description.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Briefly and in general terms, the present invention provides a new and improved system and method for enabling a user practical, efficient, and economical way of covering open boxes and plates with food to keep the contents fresh and bugs secured while providing the ability to use the contents without removing said cover.

The above objects and advantages of the present invention, as well as others, are described in greater detail in the following description, when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawing of illustrative embodiments.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a Zipper Box Cover covering open box full of cornflakes.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present invention is directed to an improved system and method for enabling a user to cover open boxes and plates, using flexible plastic, or the like, to keep the contents fresh and unreachable by flies and other bugs while providing the access to the contents via zipper based opening without removing the cover. The preferred embodiments of the improved system and method are fully and detailed illustrated and described in the following paragraphs.

As illustrated in FIGS. 1-3, in a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention the system 10 includes the cover body 26, to cover open boxes 24 or plates 28, stretchable and elastic rubber, or the like, strip 22 to hold on the box or the plate, and zipper 20 for providing easy opening of the cover to access the contents without removing the cover.

Referring to FIGS. 1-3, in a method for the use of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention the system 10 enables a user to cover open boxes and plates, using flexible plastic, or the like, while the stretchable and elastic rubber, or the like, strip 22 holds the cover fully wrapped preventing from it to slide off the box or the plate. Zipper 20, comfortable located on the top of the cover, provides an easy access to the contents without removing the cover, which make the usage of the current invention more practical. System 10 is used by stretching manually elastic strip 22 and sliding it on top of pre-opened box or plate in a glove manner.

In accordance with the present invention, the particular embodiments set forth above for the system are capable of providing a flexible cover to open boxes and plates to keep the contents fresh and unreachable by bugs and providing the access to the contents, via the zipper, without removing the cover. However, other forms of that system may be utilized with the present invention without departing from the spirit and the scope of the invention. Based on the present disclosure, other constructions and applications are known to one skilled in the art.

In view of the above, it is apparent that the system and method of the preferred embodiments of the present invention enhance practicality and effectiveness of enabling a user to cover open boxes or plates to keep the contents fresh and unreachable by bugs and providing the access to the contents, via the zipper, without removing the cover.

While the present invention has been described in connection with the specific embodiments identified herein, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that many alternatives, modifications and variations are possible in light of the above description. Accordingly, the invention is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications and variations as may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention disclosed herein.

Claims

1. A universal size of flexible cover for covering open boxes or plates, to keep the contents fresh and unreachable by bugs, while providing the ability to access the contents without removing said cover, said device comprising:

a. a flexible cover body;
b. a conventional zipper, located on top of said cover body;
c. a stretchable and elastic rubber like strip, located at the bottom of said cover body;

2. The device of claim 1 wherein said flexible cover body is made, primarily but not necessarily, from a flexible see-through but yet durable plastic.

3. The device of claim 1 wherein said stretchable and elastic rubber like strip is attached to the bottom of said cover body, manually can be stretched in order to slide it on top of pre-open box or plate in a glove manner.
