Backpack
This invention discloses a backpack, which comprises a bag having an accommodating space therein; a latch device disposed on both sides of the bag for opening or closing the bag; two shoulder straps respectively coupled to the upper and lower sections of both sides of the rear of the bag for carrying the bag on a user's back; two speakers, built in and exposed from both sides of the front of the bag, and a signal line for connecting the two speakers, and one of the speakers having a signal input line and a plug; thereby the two speakers are capable of producing sound by connecting the plug with a signal output socket of a portable player.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to backpacks, more particularly to a backpack comprising a built-in speaker for outputting the sound of a portable player, and the speaker having an amplify circuit and an adjusting button; and a wire conducting device and a wire binder disposed at appropriate positions of the backpack, such that a signal line of an earphone can be passed through and set into a fixed position.
2. Description of the Related Art
People always carry things, and there are numerous ways of carrying things.
However, it is very common and feasible for carrying things by a bag to prevent the things contained in the bag from falling out or being exposed.
According to the ergonomics, it is the best way to carry things on one's back, because both hands of the carrier are not restricted to activities. Therefore, two shoulder straps are connected to four corners of the back of a bag to constitute a popular mountain climbing backpack, which is also very common to students for carrying books.
Since a backpack was intended for mountain climbing or hiking, there are various kinds of backpacks designed for different activities. There are backpacks specially designed for skate board players or bicyclers. Backpack manufacturers always focus on the improvement on various stylish designs, but they seldom think of a backpack as a “Mobile Stereo”.
In fact, sports activities such as mountain climbing, hiking, or bicycling relate to continuous monotonic movements, therefore people would like to bring a MP3 player, a walkman, or a CD player with them to eliminate tiredness and have a joyful mood by listening to the music. However, the conventional bags only provide the function of containing objects, and have not taken the functions of amplifying the sound output by speakers and sharing the music with others into consideration. Therefore, the conventional bag urgently needs improvements.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn view of the description above, the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience on the design and sales of sports appliances to conduct extensive researches and experiments in order to overcome the shortcoming of the prior-art that has the only function of carrying things and finally invented a backpack according to the present invention.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a backpack having built-in speakers, which comprises an accommodating space therein; a latch device disposed on both sides of the bag for opening or closing the bag; two shoulder straps respectively coupled to the upper and lower sections of both sides of the rear of the bag for carrying the bag on a user's back; two speakers, built in and exposed from both sides of the front of the bag, and a signal line for connecting the two speakers, and one of the speakers having a signal input line, and a plug; thereby the two speakers are capable of producing sound by connecting the plug with a signal output socket of a portable player.
The secondary objective of the present invention is to provide a backpack having built-in speakers, which further comprises a power supply device being in a box form and connected to a main body of a speaker by a power cable, and an amplify circuit is disposed inside the speaker; and a control button protruded from the surface of the speaker for controlling the power connection and sound volume.

In FIGS. 1 to 4, the backpack according to the present invention comprises a bag 1, two shoulder straps 2, two speakers 3, and/or a power supply device 4, wherein the bag is a prior art, which could be either in a solid form or a soft form and preferably designed as a mountain climbing bag. The bag 1 comprises an accommodating space 11 therein, an opening disposed on one side, and a latch device 12 such as a zipper or an adhesive tape for opening or closing the bag 1 for putting/removing things into/from the bag 1 respectively. The bag 1 further comprises at least one accessory pocket 13 disposed on the exterior of the bag 1 and/or in the accommodating space 11, and a handle 14 disposed at the top of the bag 1 for facilitating the carry of the bag 1.
Both ends of the two shoulder straps 2 are coupled to the upper and lower sections of the rear surface of the bag 1 for allowing the arms of the user to pass through, such that the bag can be carried on the user's back or chest. The shoulder strap 2 is preferably an adjustable strap, and since the shoulder strap 2 is a prior art, therefore it will not be described here.
The technical characteristic of the present invention resides on that the bag 1 comprises a built-in speaker 3 on each side of the bag 1 as shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, and the speaker 3 comprises a speaker member 31 disposed in the accommodating space 11, and a sound hole is cut from the cloth at the surface of the bag 1, such that a decorative panel 32 is provided for at least one fixture to pass through the cloth to combine with the speaker member 31, and both speakers 3 are exposed to the outside. Further, a signal input line 34 connects the two speakers, and a signal input line 34 and a plug 35 are extended from one of the speakers to connect the signal output socket 52 of a portable player 5 such as a CD player, a MP3 player, a MD player, a walkman, or a radio, etc for releasing sound from the two speakers 3.
However, when an insufficient power output of the two speakers is taken into consideration, one of the speakers 3 has an amplify circuit (AMP, which is a prior art and will not be described here) and a control button 36 for controlling the power connection and sound volume. An indicating lamp 37 is used to indicate the state of the power supply. Since the speaker 3 requires power to provide an amplifying effect, therefore a power supply device 4 is installed in the bag 1, and the power supply device 4 is preferably a dry battery cell, and this embodiment adopts six pieces of C-shaped batteries connected in parallel to produce a power output of 9 volts. The batteries are connected to the speaker 3 to provide the amplifying function; wherein the power supply device 4 can be installed in the accommodating space 11, or the power device 4 is installed in a front accessory pocket 15 disposed in the front of the bag 1 and covered by a front cover 16. The front cover 16 has a pocket 161 at its lower section and the pocket 161 is opened or closed by a latch device 162 such as a zipper or an adhesive tape for accessing a compact disk. Further to set the front cover 16 in a fixed position, a string 163 is tied to both sides of the bottom of the front cover 16 and connected to the rear side of the bag 1, and each string 163 has a buckle 164 such as a male buckle and a female buckle for fixing or lifting up the front cover by buckling or unbuckling the buckle 164.
Further, the portable player 5 can be accommodated and fixed in an appropriate position of the bag 1. For example, at least one accessory pocket 13 is disposed on the side of the bag 1 and opened or closed by a latch device 131 such as a zipper or an adhesive tape to put in or take out the portable player. The accessory pocket 13 has a wire guider 17 at its surface, so that the signal line 61 and the plug 62 of the earphone 6 can be passed through and inserted into the signal output socket 51. Therefore, a user can listen to the music through an earphone 6. The wire guider 17 comprises a plurality of cut lines 172 in a radial form at the center of a film and has the function of being opened and closed automatically while preventing water or dust from entering into the accessory pocket 13.

Thus, this invention provides a backpack for sharing music with friends during a hiking activity or other sports activities by installing a portable player and sending audio signals to the two speakers at the front section of the backpack. Of course, a user may choose to listen to the music on one's own by passing the signal line of the earphone through the wire guider and outwardly fixed to at least one binding tape, so that the wire and the backpack will not tangled. Furthermore, the present invention can be used for advertising or propagation by carrying the backpack on a user's back or chest in a crowded place and attracting audiences by broadcasting. The present invention is definitely novel with totally different functions.
While the invention has been described by way of example and in terms of a preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited thereto. To the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements and procedures, and the scope of the appended claims therefore should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar arrangements and procedures.
Claims
1. A backpack, comprising:
- a bag, having an accommodating space therein, and a latch device disposed on a side of said bag for selectively opening and closing said bag;
- two shoulder straps, each having both ends respectively coupled to an upper section and a lower section on the rear side of said bag for carrying said bag on a user's back; and
- two speakers, being built in both sides at the front of said bag and exposed to the exterior of said bag, and having a signal line for connecting said two speakers and one of said speaker having a signal input line and a plug;
- thereby, said speakers releases sound when said plug is connected to said signal output socket of a portable player.
2. The backpack of claim 1, further comprising a power supply device, which is in a box form and connected to a main speaker by a power supply cable, and said speaker having a built-in amplify circuit for controlling the power supply and sound volume by a control button protruded on the surface of said speaker.
3. The backpack of claim 2, wherein said power supply is a dry battery cell acting as the power.
4. The backpack of claim 2, wherein said power supply is disposed in said accommodating space.
5. The backpack of claim 2, wherein said power supply is disposed in an accessory pocket disposed at the front of said bag.
6. The backpack of claim 1, wherein said shoulder strap is adjustable.
7. The backpack of claim 1, wherein said bag has a handle at its top.
8. The backpack of claim 1, wherein said two speakers are speaker members mounted on both side at the bottom of said accommodating space, and a sound hole is cut from a bag cloth at the front of said bag, and a decorative panel is aligned with said speaker member to combine with said speaker member by passing a fixture through said decorative panel.
9. The backpack of claim 1, wherein said portable player is one selected from the collection of a CD player, a MP3 player, a MD player, a walkman, and a radio.
10. The backpack of claim 1, wherein said bag has a front cover for covering the front accessory pocket disposed thereunder.
11. The backpack of claim 10, wherein said front cover comprises a pocket selectively opened and closed by a latch for accessing a compact disk.
12. The backpack of claim 11, wherein said front cover has a string disposed on each side of said front cover and coupled to the rear side of said bag, and said each string has a buckle.
13. The backpack of claim 1, wherein said bag comprises an accessory pocket selectively disposed in said accommodating space and the exterior of said bag for accommodating and fixing said portable player.
14. The backpack of claim 13, wherein said accessory pocket is disposed on a side of the exterior of said bag and has a latch.
15. The backpack of claim 14, wherein said accessory pocket has a wire guider for passing through said signal line and plug of said earphone.
16. The backpack of claim 15, wherein said wire is formed by a plurality of cut lines in a radial form at the center of a film.
17. The backpack of claim 1, wherein said bag comprises at least one binding tape selectively disposed inside and outside said bag for passing a wire.
18. The backpack of claim 17, wherein said binding tape is an adhesive tape.
19. The backpack of claim 1, wherein said bag has a wire guider at its top.
