Gas burner
A gas burner includes a supporting disk and a hollow disk supported by the supporting disk and having multiple holes. The holes are inclined relative to a surface so that burning effect of the gas burner is maximized.
This Patent Application is a Continuation-in-Part of patent application Ser. No. 10/866,739, filed 15 Jun. 2004, currently pending.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a gas burner, and more particularly to a gas burner having multiple holes defined at an angle relative to a surface.
2. Description of Related Art
A conventional gas burner normally is composed of a core with multiple first holes and a hollow disk surrounding the core and having multiple second holes. When the gas burner is connected to a gas tank via a tube, flames emerge from the first holes of the core and the second holes of the hollow disk. When the conventional gas burner is in use, the flames from the first and the second holes influence each other. That is, with reference to
To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention tends to provide an improved gas burner to mitigate the aforementioned problems.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe primary objective of the present invention is to provide an improved gas burner having a hollow disk with multiple holes inclined relative to a longitudinal axis of the hollow disk such that influence between adjacent flames is reduced and thus the burning effect is increased.
Another objective of the present invention is that the holes of the hollow disk are defined in such a way that they are not perpendicular to a surface such that a vortex effect is generated when the gas burner is lit.
Other objects, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
With reference to
The hollow disk (2) has multiple holes (221) inclined relative to a longitudinal axis of the hollow disk, preferably at 30 degrees and to a horizontal axis of the hollow disk, preferably at 40 degrees. With such an arrangement, a vortex effect out of the burning flames is thus generated and thus the burning effect is increased.

It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
Claims
1. In a gas burner having a supporting disk and a hollow disk supported by the supporting disk and having multiple holes, wherein the improvements comprise:
- the holes of the hollow disk are tangentially inclined from a circumference of the hollow disk.
2. The gas burner as claimed in claim 1, wherein the holes are inclined relative to a longitudinal axis of the hollow disk at an angle of 30 degrees.
3. The gas burner as claimed in claim 2, wherein the holes are inclined relative to a horizontal axis of the hollow disk at an angle of 40 degrees.
4. The gas burner as claimed in claim 3, wherein the holes are composed of recesses defined in an outer face of the hollow disk and an outer face of the supporting disk.
5. The gas burner as claimed in claim 3, wherein a net is mounted on an outer face defining each of the holes.
