Foldable barbecue grill
A barbecue grill includes a frame, two support racks pivotally mounted on two ends of the frame, and a stretcher detachably mounted on the frame and urged between the two support racks to support the two support racks at an upright state by restriction of the stretcher. Thus, the two support racks of the barbecue grill are folded when not in use so as to save the space of storage. In addition, the barbecue grill is expanded and partially folded easily and conveniently, thereby facilitating a user operating the barbecue grill.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a barbecue grill, and more particularly to a foldable barbecue grill.
2. Description of the Related Art
A conventional barbecue grill comprises a frame, and two support racks fixed on two ends of the frame by bolts and nuts so that the two support racks are disposed at an upright state. However, the conventional barbecue grill has a fixed structure after assembly and cannot be dismantled easily and conveniently, thereby causing inconvenience to a user in package, storage and transportation of the conventional barbecue grill.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention is to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantage of the conventional barbecue grill.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a barbecue grill that is folded when not in use so as to save space of storage.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a barbecue grill that is expanded and folded easily and conveniently, thereby facilitating a user operating the barbecue grill.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a barbecue grill that is folded easily, thereby facilitating package, transportation and storage of the barbecue grill.
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a barbecue grill, comprising:
a frame;
two support racks pivotally mounted on two ends of the frame; and
a stretcher detachably mounted on the frame and urged between the two support racks to support the two support racks at an upright state by restriction of the stretcher.

Accordingly, the two support racks 20 of the barbecue grill are folded when not in use so as to save the space of storage. In addition, the barbecue grill is expanded and partially folded easily and conveniently, thereby facilitating a user operating and folding the barbecue grill. Further, the barbecue grill is folded easily, thereby facilitating package, transportation and storage of the barbecue grill.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
Claims
1. A barbecue grill, comprising:
- a frame;
- two support racks pivotally mounted on two ends of the frame; and
- a stretcher detachably mounted on the frame and urged between the two support racks to support the two support racks at an upright state by restriction of the stretcher.

The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 1, wherein the frame is provided with two upright first support posts located at a first side of the frame and two upright second support posts located at a second side of the frame, and each of the two support racks includes a first support bar pivotally mounted on a respective one of the two first support posts of the frame, and a second support bar pivotally mounted on a respective one of the two second support posts of the frame.

The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 2, wherein the first support bar of each of the two support racks has a lower end pivotally mounted on an upper end of the respective first support post of the frame, and a first pivot gap is defined between the lower end of the first support bar of each of the two support racks and the upper end of the respective first support post of the frame.

The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 3, wherein the upper end of each of the two first support posts of the frame is formed with two first pivot holes, and the lower end of the first support bar of each of the two support racks is formed with a first pivot seat formed with two first pivot bores pivotally mounted on the two first pivot holes of the upper end of the respective first support post of the frame.
5. The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 3, wherein the stretcher has two ends each formed with an insert inserted into the first pivot gap between the lower end of the first support bar of each of the two support racks and the upper end of the respective first support post of the frame to push the two support racks, so that the two support racks are disposed at an upright state and cannot be pivoted inward relative to the frame.

The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 2, wherein the second support bar of each of the two support racks has a lower end pivotally mounted on an upper end of the respective second support post of the frame, and a second pivot gap is defined between the lower end of the second support bar of each of the two support racks and the upper end of the respective second support post of the frame.

The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 6, wherein the upper end of each of the two second support posts of the frame is formed with two second pivot holes, and the lower end of the second support bar of each of the two support racks is formed with a second pivot seat formed with two second pivot bores pivotally mounted on the two second pivot holes of the upper end of the respective second support post of the frame.
8. The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 6, further comprising an auxiliary stretcher mounted between the two support racks.
9. The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 8, wherein the auxiliary stretcher has an arc-shaped profile.
10. The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 8, wherein the second support bar of each of the two support racks has a mediate portion formed with a snapping hole, and the auxiliary stretcher has two bent ends each formed with a snapping plate snapped into the snapping hole of the second support bar of each of the two support racks.
11. The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 8, wherein the auxiliary stretcher is provided with a support bar having two ends each formed with an insert inserted into the second pivot gap between the lower end of the second support bar of each of the two support racks and the upper end of the respective second support post of the frame to support the two support racks, so that the two support racks are disposed at an upright state and cannot be pivoted inward relative to the frame.
12. The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 2, wherein each of the two support racks further includes a connecting bracket mounted between the first support bar and the second support bar.
13. The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 1, wherein the two support racks are pivoted inward relative to the frame when the stretcher is removed from the two support racks.
14. The barbecue grill in accordance with claim 8, wherein the two support racks are pivoted inward relative to the frame when the auxiliary stretcher is removed from the two support racks.
