DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The Self-Holder is a 6 ft×8 ft piece of fabric with three sets of what I've named Gatherers cut into the Self-Holder fabric. The Self-Holder will be available in the standard 6 ft×8 ft size, but it will be also be available in smaller and larger specialty sizes to accommodate consumers with smaller and larger frames. The Gatherers will be used by the consumer to help them easily gather the Self-Holder fabric together for tucking the Self-Holder fabric into three vital front of body tucking points.

There are three Gatherers on the left side and right side of the Self-Holder. The Gatherers are cut into the 6 ft×8 ft piece of fabric creating a curvaceous shape on both the left side and right side of the Self-Holder. The Self-Holder fabric that extends below the third set of Gatherers is for foot tucking.

The Self-Holder will be used as a companion therapeutic product by people who engage in the mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically therapeutic activities that the Self-Holder is needed to perform. The Self-Holder will be available in various colors that I think best represent the aforementioned therapeutic activities, and best represent the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical states consumers will obtain via the aforementioned therapeutic activities. The mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically therapeutic activities that the Self-Holder is needed to perform, and the activities' representative statements, questions, and ornamentation will be applied to the front side and backside of the Self-Holder.

The steps for using the Self-Holder are as follows:

  • 1. While you are standing, turn the Self-Holder the long way (horizontally);
  • 2. Put the Self-Holder behind you with the front of the Self-Holder facing your back;
  • 3. Wrap the Self-Holder around your shoulders like wrapping a shawl around yourself;
  • 4. Grab the first set of Gatherers, pull the Gatherers together towards the center of your chest;
  • 5. While holding on to the first set of Gatherers, lay down on the side you prefer to lay on when your partner is parallel holding you or lay on your back;
  • 6. Now release the first set of Gatherers and let them naturally fall in front of your chest;
  • 7. While laying down on your side or back, grab the second set of Gatherers and pull them together until they are positioned at your #2 vital front of body tucking point which is between your inner thighs then tuck the center fabric tightly between your inner thighs until you feel the amount of physical stimulation you desire at your #2 vital front of body pressure points (inner and outer thighs, and hips) and back of body pressure points (buttocks and back of thighs). The front of body pressure that the consumer will experience via this step will mimic the pressure felt when your partner intertwines his thighs with your thighs while parallel holding you. The back of body pressure that the consumer will experience via this step will mimic the pressure you feel when your partner presses his lap area against your buttocks and back of thighs while parallel holding you;
  • 8. While laying down on your side or back, grab the third set of Gatherers and pull them together until they are positioned at your #3 vital front of body tucking point which is directly below your knees, between your legs around your calves area, and tuck the fabric tightly until you feel the amount of physical pressure you desire at the #3 vital front of body pressure points (knees and shins) and back of body pressure point (calves). The front and back of body pressure that the consumer will experience via this step will mimic the pressure felt when your partner intertwines his legs with your legs while holding you;
  • 9. While laying down on your side or back, use your feet to gather the left and right side foot tuckers and tuck your feet into the foot tuckers until you feel the amount of physical pressure you desire at the #4 vital front of body pressure points (top of feet, top of toes, and ankles) and back of body pressure points (heels, bottom of feet, and bottom of toes). The pressure that the consumer will experience via this step will mimic the pressure felt when your partner intertwines his feet with your feet while holding you;
  • 10. Grab the first set of Gatherers and pull the Gatherers back together towards your chest until you feel the amount of physical pressure you desire at your #1 vital front of body pressure points (side and front of shoulders, chest/cleavage area, upper/middle stomach area and waist) and back of body pressure points (back of shoulders and upper/middle/lower back). To maintain this physical pressure, continue to hold the first set of Gatherers near your chest until your Self-Holding session is complete. The front of body pressure that the consumer will experience via this step will mimic the pressure felt when your partner wraps his or her arms around your side, front shoulder, and chest area and midsection area while holding you. The back of body pressure that the consumer will experience via this step will mimic the pressure you feel when your partner presses his front shoulders against your back shoulders, his chest against your upper back while holding you, and his stomach/abdominal area against your middle/lower back while holding you;
  • 11. You should now be totally engaged in Self-Holding. If you don't feel the amount of physical stimulation you prefer, tuck the Gatherers together more until you feel the amount of physical stimulation you prefer;
  • 12. Exhale for the purpose of totally basking in the physical, mental, and emotional stimulation and comfort the Self-Holder provides; and
  • 13. Start your preference Self-Holding Enhancement Activity for this particular Self-Holding session.

The process of making the Self-Holder includes the following: 1. Obtain a 6 ft×8 ft piece of your preferred fabric that is in your preference color or dye the Self-Holder your preference color; 2. Cut three sets of curvaceous Self-Holder Gatherers in the length and width you prefer into the fabric, consisting of three Gatherers on the left and right side of the fabric; 3. Cut the sets of curvaceous Gatherers into the fabric at the point on the fabric where the Gatherers comes in contact with an adult female of average height and weight's chest, inner thighs, and directly below knees and calves area; 4. Slightly fold the raw edges of the Self-Holder; 5. Press the folded fabric on the creased part of the fabric with an iron; 6. Stitch/Hem the raw edges of the 6 ft×8 ft piece of fabric all the way around to prevent the fabric from fraying; and 7. Create and apply the names of the mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically therapeutic activities that the Self-Holder is needed to perform, and the activities' representative statements, questions, and ornamentation to the Self-Holder.

There are no other prior patents similar to the Self-Holder so distinguishing the Self-Holder from other inventions is not necessary. Moreover, since there is no prior patent similar to my invention, my invention does not improve upon any other invention.

The elements of the invention include the following:

  • 1. Left Side Gatherer #1;
  • 2. Right Side Gatherer #1;
  • 3. Left Side Gatherer #2;
  • 4. Right Side Gatherer #2;
