Disclosed is a golf equipment consisting of a golf club and golf gloves capable of increasing shot accuracy and minimizing loss of a driving distance by griping the golf club at constant grip strength. When a golfer grips the golf club, grooves formed on a grip of the golf club matches with nubs formed on the golf glove. Even though a size of the golf groove or griped position of the golf club is different from each other, the grooves of the golf club can match with the nubs of the golf glove. In addition, even though the golfer softly grips the golf club, the golf club can be fixed in hands of the golfer.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to golf equipments, and more particularly, to a combination of a golf club and golf gloves capable of increasing shot accuracy and minimizing loss of a driving distance by griping the golf club at constant grip strength.

BACKGROUND ART

Recently, golf becomes one of popular sports those many people the world over play, as well as Koreans. As is the custom with most of the sports, accuracy and proficiency are different in grades depending upon inborn talent and steady effort of individuals in the golf. If a grip state is stably maintained during address-to-finish move, a considerable effect may be obtained in the aspects of the accuracy and driving distance in a direction of golf shot.

In order to increase the accuracy and minimize the loss of driving distance in the golf swing, it is very important to properly rotate an upper body (a twist phenomenon) during the golf swing and properly cock a wrist at the moment of impact. If a golfer properly implements the upper body's rotation and the cocking, the golfer should relax muscles of his/her upper body and articulations of wrists, elbows and shoulders. In order to smoothly move the upper body, the golfer should softly grip the grip of golf club.

In the case most of amateurs, such as a beginner, an old and feeble person, a female, a person of a short finger, a person of weak grip strength or a person of uncontrolled power, softly grip the golf club because of unstable posture, anxiety that the golf club slides on a palm of his/her hand or the golf club leaves from his/her hands causes the golfer to firmly grip the golf club.

This tension is transferred to the wrist and shoulder of the golf, and thus the muscles become rigid. Therefore, the golfer cannot stretch his/her arms at the moment of impact or finish move, so that he or she may strike an upper portion of a golf ball or out-in swing phenomenon happens, thereby deviating a direction of the golf ball from a wanted path.

In addition, since a necessary cocking or shoulder rotation does not smooth at the moment of impact, the golf ball cannot drive by a necessary distance.

In order to solve the above problems, meanwhile, various grooved grips or gloves have been proposed, but the grooves of the grip do not conform to the grooves of gloves, thereby not obtaining a specific effect.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the problems involved in the prior art, and to provide a golf equipment consisting of a golf club and golf gloves, of which grooves are formed on a surface of a grip of the golf club while nubs are formed in the golf gloves, so as to grip the golf club at constant grip strength.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf equipment consisting of a golf club and golf gloves, in which a golfer grips the golf club at a relaxing state, so that the golf may maintain his/her striking posture at a stable state from address to finish.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf equipment consisting of a golf club and golf gloves capable of maintaining a gripping state at the moment of impact and the finish move as it is.

In order to accomplish the above and other objects, there is provided a golf equipment comprising: a golf glove with a plurality of nubs formed thereon; and a golf club with a plurality of grooves formed on a circumference of a grip, the grooves matching with nubs formed on the golf glove; the grooves arranged on the grip at regular intervals, so that when a golfer puts on the golf glove and grips the grip of the golf club, the nubs of the glove are automatically inserted in the grooves of the grip.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a state that a grip of a golf club is fixed by a golf glove according to the present invention.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

Reference will now be made in detail to preferred embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

An embodiment described and shown herein relates to a combination of a golf club and golf gloves, but the present invention can be applied to all sports instruments, for example, hockey, tennis or baseball, requiring for rapid cocking and smooth upper body rotation.

According to the present invention, when a golfer grips the golf club, grooves formed on a grip of the golf club matches with nubs formed on the golf glove. Even though a size of the golf groove or griped position of the golf club is different from each other, the grooves of the golf club can match with the nubs of the golf glove. In addition, even though the golfer softly grips the golf club, the golf club can be fixed in hands of the golfer. At that time, a shape of the groove or nub may be varied depending upon a power acting direction in the sports instruments (i.e., hockey, tennis or baseball) or a manufacturing process.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a shape of the golf glove according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 1, a golf glove 100 is formed with a plurality of nubs 102 at regular intervals. Preferably, the interval of nubs 102 is at least two times wider than that of grooves 204 formed on a surface of a grip of the golf club. Therefore, the nubs 102 of the golf glove 100 can be inserted into the grooves 204 of the grip 202 even though a golfer grips the grip at any direction.

The golf club 200 includes a shaft 206 having the grip 202, and a head (not shown) coupled to a lower end of the shaft 206 and having a flat face (shot surface) at a front surface thereof, as shown in FIG. 2.

The grooves 204 are densely formed on an external surface of the grip 202 at positions corresponding the nubs 102 of the golf glove 100. The grooves 204 are formed on a circumference of the grip 202 at very closely intervals, so that the nubs 102 formed on the golf glove 100 may be inserted in the grooves 204 of the grip 202 when the grooves 204 are contacted with the nubs 102. In other words, the interval of the grooves 204 is near zero.

With the construction, if the golfer puts on the golf glove 100 according to the present invention and grips the grip 202 of the golf club 200, the nubs 102 are inserted in the grooves 204 of the grip 202, as shown in FIG. 3. Even though the golfer softly grips the grip 202, the grip 202 can be fixed in hands of the golfer. In addition, the golfer can automatically grip the grip 202, irrespective of different gripped position of the golf club

While the present invention has been described and illustrated herein with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, it is intended that the present invention covers the modifications and variations of this invention that come within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY

As apparent from the above description, even though an amateur of an imperfect posture softly grips the golf club, the golf club does not slide (move) in hands of the amateur. In addition, the golf club does not leave from the hands of the golfer when the finish move is strong.

Furthermore, even though the golfer softly grips the grip, the grip is fixed in hands of the golfer, so that the golfer can accurately shot at all times. Cocking can be smoothly performed at the moment of impact or the rotation of an upper body.

Since the golfer can grip the grip of the golf club at constant grip strength, regardless of body restriction or proficiency, the golfer is physically stable due to the steady maintain of grip strength. Also, the golfer can grip the golf club at the natural state, thereby improving the unstableness of shot and minimizing a loss of a driving distance. In addition, since the grip state is maintained, a shot direction may be improved.

Claims

1. A golf equipment comprising:

a golf glove with a plurality of nubs formed thereon; and
a golf club with a plurality of grooves formed on a circumference of a grip, the grooves matching with nubs formed on the golf glove;
the grooves arranged on the grip at regular intervals, so that when a golfer puts on the golf glove and grips the grip of the golf club, the nubs of the glove are automatically inserted in the grooves of the grip.

2. The golf equipment as claimed in claim 1, wherein the grooves are formed at regular intervals in such a manner that the interval of the grooves is near zero, and an interval of nubs of the golf glove is more than two times wider than that of grooves of the grip.

3. The golf equipment as claimed in claim 1, wherein the interval of nubs of the golf glove is two or three times wider than that of grooves of the grip.
