Two-suction turbine fan device

A two-suction turbine fan device comprises: a frame being a two-sheet structure; each sheet of the frame having a respective suction opening; one lateral side of the frame having a vent opening; a fan being installed at an interior of the frame; a motor being installed in the rear side of a rotary shaft of the fan; the fan having a plurality of blades; each blade having a long and flat shape. When the two-suction turbine fan device is installed in the computer device, the two-suction turbine fan device will suck hot air from a power supply and a computer mainframe. An outer side of each sheet of the frame is installed with a plurality of ribs which are arranged as a radiated shape for guiding conductive wires. The frame has a plurality of tenons at a periphery thereof.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to fans, and particular to a two-suction turbine fan device, wherein the fan has two-suctions at two sides of the fan and a lateral side of the fan has a vent opening for venting air. Thereby, the fan can be used to dissipate heat of a power supply and a computer mainframe so as to increase heat dissipation effect, especially, for the heat dissipation of high-level electronic elements.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The prior art axial flow fan is mainly used to such as power supplies, central processing units, display cards, etc. The axial flow fan is mainly formed by a frame, a fan, a motor, etc. This prior art fan can provide sufficient wind so as to dissipate heat effectively. However, the prior art has the following disadvantages.

The axial flow fan generates more heat with the increment of current and rotation speed. Furthermore, the axial flow fan stands uprightly upon a power supply. In operation, the rotary shaft of the fan must support the weight of the fan. For a longer time, the wear between the rotary shaft and the bearing is dramatic so as to reduce the lifetime of the fan. Furthermore, the fan is tightly adhered to vent holes of a power supply so that a great noise due to wind flow is generated.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a two-suction turbine fan device, wherein the fan has two-suctions at two sides of the fan and a lateral side of the fan has a vent opening for venting air. Thereby, the fan can be used to dissipate heat of a power supply and a computer mainframe so as to increase heat dissipation effect, especially, for the heat dissipation of high level electronic elements.

To achieve above objects, the present invention provides a two-suction turbine fan device comprising: a frame being a two-sheet structure; each sheet of the frame having a respective suction opening; one lateral side of the frame having a vent opening; a fan being installed at an interior of the frame; a motor being installed in the rear side of a rotary shaft of the fan; the fan having a plurality of blades; each blade having a long and flat shape. When the two-suction turbine fan device is installed in the computer device. the two-suction turbine fan device will suck hot air from a power supply and a computer mainframe. An outer side of each sheet of the frame is installed with a plurality of ribs which are arranged as a radiated shape for guiding conductive wires. The frame has a plurality of tenons at a periphery thereof.

The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be described in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

With reference to FIGS. 1, 2 and 3, the exploded schematic view of the present invention is illustrated. The two-suction turbine fan device 1 comprises the following elements.

A frame 10 has a plurality of tenons 101 at a periphery thereof. The frame 10 is a two-sheet structure. Each sheet of the frame 10 has a respective suction opening 102. One lateral side of the frame 10 has a vent opening 103. An outer side of each sheet of the frame 10 is installed with a plurality of ribs 104 which are arranged as a radiated shape for guiding conductive wires 121.

A fan 11 is installed at an interior of the frame 10. A motor (not shown) is installed in the rear side of a rotary shaft of the fan 11. The motor is known in the prior art and thus the details of the motor will not be described here. The fan 11 has a plurality of blades 111. Each blade 111 has a long and flat shape.

With reference to FIGS. 4(A) and 4(B), the operation of the two-suction turbine fan device 1 of the present invention is illustrated, where wind is sucked into the fan from the two vent openings 103.

Referring to FIGS. 5 to 8, in the present invention, the two-suction turbine fan device 1 is assembled to a power supply 2 horizontally. The vent openings 103 of the two-suction turbine fan device 1 are aligned to the wind outlet 20 of the power supply 2 so as to exhaust heat generated from the power supply.

Besides, in this embodiment, one side of the power supply 2 is formed with an opening corresponding to the suction opening 102 in one sheet of the two-suction turbine fan device 1. Thereby, heat from the power supply 20 and a computer mainframe (not shown) is sucked into the two-suction turbine fan device 1 of the present invention and then is vented out from the vent opening 103 and the wind outlet 20.

As comparing with the prior art axial flow fan, the two-suction turbine fan device 1 of the present invention has an efficiency of over 30% higher than that of the prior art one under the conditions of same current and same rotation speed. Thereby, by the present invention, power is saved and noise is reduced. Thus, the lifetimes of the electronic elements are prolonged.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A two-suction turbine fan device comprising:

a frame being a two-sheet structure; each sheet of the frame having a respective suction opening; one lateral side of the frame having a vent opening;
a fan being installed at an interior of the frame; a motor being installed in a rear side of a rotary shaft of the fan; the fan having a plurality of blades; each blade having a long and flat shape;
wherein when the two-suction turbine fan device is installed in the computer device; the two-suction turbine fan device will suck hot air from a power supply and a computer mainframe.

2. The two-suction turbine fan device as claimed in claim 1, wherein an outer side of each sheet of the frame is installed with a plurality of ribs which are arranged as a radiated shape for guiding conductive wires.

3. The two-suction turbine fan device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the frame has a plurality of tenons at a periphery thereof.
