Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the invention

The present invention relates to a cosmetics container, more particularly one, which includes two containing members capable of being joined together with one being positioned on top of the other for allowing the cosmetics container to be easily exhibited, and occupy a smaller area of a surface where it stands.

2. Brief Description of the Prior Art

Besides devoting much resource to developing good cosmetics, manufacturers of cosmetics also have been working to develop various attractive cosmetics containers for helping their products sell well.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is a main object of the present invention to provide a cosmetics container, which is structured in a completely different way from current ones, to provide consumers with another choice.

The cosmetics container of the present invention includes an upper containing body, a lower containing body, a connecting member, and supporting base, in which containing bodies cosmetics can be held. The upper containing body has a fitting cavity on a bottom, and an annular fitting trench around the fitting cavity. The lower containing body has an annular protrusion around a neck thereof, and a fitting portion projecting from a bottom, and it is joined to the connecting member with the fitting portion being fitted in a recess of the top of the connecting member. The supporting base is fitted to a bottom of the connecting member. And, the lower containing body is separably connected to the upper containing body with both a cap and the annular protrusion thereof being respectively fitted in the fitting cavity and the annular fitting trench of the upper body.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The present invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the cosmetics container according to the present invention,

FIG. 2 is a vertical cross-sectional view of the cosmetics container of the present invention,

FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the cosmetics container of the present invention, and

FIG. 4 is a front view of the present cosmetics container, with the caps removed from the upper and the lower container members.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, a preferred embodiment of a cosmetics container in the present invention includes an upper container member 1, a lower container member 2, a connecting member 3, and a supporting base 4.

The upper container member 1 includes a main body 11, and a cap 12 for the main body 11; the main body 11 has a containing room 111 for containing cosmetics therein, a fitting cavity 112 on a bottom, and an annular fitting trench 113 around the fitting cavity 112.

The lower container member 2 includes a main body 21, and a cap 22 for the main body 21; the main body 21 has a containing room 211 for containing cosmetics therein, a neck, an annular protrusion 212 around a lower end of the neck, and a fitting portion 213 projecting down from a bottom. The upper and the lower container members 1 and 2 are separably joined together with the cap 22 and the annular protrusion 212 of the lower member 2 being respectively fitted in the fitting cavity 112 and the annular fitting trench 113 of the upper member after the cap 22 is connected to the neck of the lower member 2.

The connecting member 3 has a fitting recess 31 on an upper end, and a fitting hole 32 on a bottom thereof. The lower container member 2 is connected to the connecting member 3 with the fitting portion 212 being fitted in the fitting recess 31.

The supporting base 4 has a post portion 41 projecting upwards, and it is connected to the connecting member 3 with the post portion 41 being fitted in the fitting hole 32 of the connecting member 3.

Thus, the cosmetics container can stand upright with the upper container member 1 on the top, and the supporting base 4 on the bottom. Referring to FIG. 4, people can use cosmetics contained in the container members 1, 2 after the caps 12, 22 are removed from the main bodies 11, 21.

Furthermore, the cosmetics container can be made in the shape of a doll, with the cap 12 and the main body 11 of the upper container member 1, the lower container member 2, and the connecting member 3 being respectively made in the shape of the head, the upper part of the doll's body, the lower part of the doll's body, and the lower edge of the clothing, e.g. trouser, and skirt.

The upper and the lower container members 1 and 2 can be exhibited without the connecting member 3 or the supporting base 4.

From the above description, it can be easily understood that the present cosmetics container has the following advantages:

1. The present cosmetics container will occupy a smaller area of a surface on which it stands because the upper container member is positioned on top of the lower container member.

2. The cosmetics container can be exhibited in an upright position when the two container members, the connecting member, and the supporting base are joined together.

3. The present cosmetics container can be made in the shape of a doll to be more attractive.
