Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates a cabinet and more particularly, to a wall-hanging cabinet.

2. Description of the Related Art

Due to limited house space, people may hang a wall-hanging cabinet on the back side of the door panel of the door of the kitchen or a wall inside a room for keeping small items. A conventional wall-hanging cabinet generally comprises a flat base panel, a hanging plate provided at the top side of the flat base panel for hanging, and a plurality of longitudinal partition boards and transverse partition boards provided at the front side of the flat base panel and defining a plurality of front-open compartments for keeping things. These front-open compartments commonly have a flat bottom wall kept in horizontal. When an external force vibrates the wall-hanging cabinet accidentally, storage items may fall out of the front-open compartments.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide a wall-hanging cabinet, which keeps storage items in a neat status. It is another object of the present invention to provide a wall-hanging cabinet, which prevents storage items from falling out of the compartments to the floor. To achieve these and other objects of the present invention, the wall-hanging cabinet comprises a flat base panel, a plurality of longitudinal partition boards and transverse partition boards provided at a front side of the flat base panel and defining a plurality of front-open compartments for keeping things, and a hanging panel provided at a top side of the flat base panel for hanging the flat base panel on a wall, wherein the front-open compartments each backwardly downwardly from a front open side thereof toward the flat base panel.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a wall-hanging cabinet according to the present invention.

FIG. 2 is an applied view of the present invention, showing the wall-hanging cabinet hung on hooks at a door panel and storage items stored in the front-open compartments and the double open-side open chamber.

FIG. 3 is a sectional side plain view of the wall-hanging cabinet according to the present invention.

FIG. 4 is an enlarged view of part A of FIG. 3.

FIG. 5 is a perspective exploded view of an alternate form of the wall-hanging cabinet according to the present invention.

FIG. 8 is an exploded view of a pocket for use with the wall-hanging cabinet according to the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to FIGS. 1˜4, a wall-hanging cabinet is shown comprising a flat base panel 1, a plurality of longitudinal partition boards 13 perpendicularly forwardly protruded from the front wall of the flat base panel 1 and arranged in parallel, a plurality of transverse partition boards 14 respectively connected between each two adjacent longitudinal partition boards 13 and obliquely upwardly extended from the flat base panel 1 and defining with the longitudinal partition boards 13 a plurality of backwardly downwardly extended sloping front-open compartments 15 for keeping storage items 4, a top cover board 12 obliquely downwardly extended from the top side of the flat base panel 1 and defining with the top-sided transverse partition boards 14 a triangular, double open-side open chamber 16, and a hanging plate 11 formed integral with the top side of the flat base panel 1 at the top side of the top cover board 12 for hanging. Preferably, the transverse partition boards 14 slope at 45 angles. However, this sloping angle is not a limitation. The hanging plate 11 has a plurality of hanging holes 111 for hanging on hooks 3 at a wall or door panel 2 (see FIG. 2). Further, each transverse partition board 14 has reinforcing ribs 141 on the middle and around the border to reinforce the structural strength for bearing a load (see FIG. 4). Because the front-open compartments 15 slope backwardly downwards, every storage item 4 automatically moves to the inner side of the respective front-open compartment 15 upon its insertion due to the effect of its gravity weight. Therefore, storage items 4 do not fall out of the respective front-open compartments 15.

FIG. 5 shows an alternate form of the present invention. This embodiment is substantially similar to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 with the exception that insertion holes 17 are respectively formed in the connection areas between the longitudinal partition boards 13 and the transverse partition boards 14, and reinforcing rod members 18 are respective mounted in the insertion holes 17 to reinforce the structural strength of the wall-hanging cabinet.

Further, pockets may be attached to the bottom side of the wall-hanging cabinet for holding things. FIG. 6 shows a pocket 5 for use with the wall-hanging cabinet. This design of pocket 5 is made of canvas, having vertical sleeves 51 in the corners and rod members 6 respectively inserted into the vertical sleeves 51.

Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
