Ice sled with malleable runners and removable wheels
An ice sled with a handlebar assembly attached to a pair of equivalent modified, malleable sleigh runners each made up of “304′ stainless steel with a foot rest affixed to each sleigh runner and with a plurality of through holes in each sleigh runner with each through hole amenable to receipt of the body of a screw first inserted through a washer with each screw threadably received by a centrally positioned threaded hole in a removable wheel with all removable wheels located exterior to each sleigh runner.
There are no prior or parent applications such as relate to the instant invention, except perhaps as respects an application filed on behalf of Mr. Gulseth on Nov. 2, 2000 with Ser. k No. 09/704,249 and entitled, “Ice Sled Modified For Warm Weather Use”.
FEDERALLY SPONSORED RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENTThere is no federally sponsored research and development such as relates to the instant invention.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the Invention
The instant invention relates to ice sleds for use during both cold and warm weather seasons.
2. Prior Art
There is no prior art such as relates to the instant invention. An Informational Art Statement that however does not anticipate the instant invention is herewith submitted.
A SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION1. A Brief Description of the Invention
The instant invention consists of a conventional ice sled having modified, malleable sleigh runners to which a plurality of wheels are removably attached.
2. An Object of the Invention
It is an object of the invention to provide a device that is amenable to functioning as an ice sled during cold winter weather and likewise amenable to functioning as a means of providing functional transportation during warm weather all with steering that is accomplished by way of a turning of modified, malleable sleigh runners. Such steering capability is inherently more desireable and dependable from both a control as well as a safety vantage point than steering able to be accomplished only by way of attempts to merely yank a moving sled to the right or to the left in an effort to change a direction of travel.
