Fastening system for desk elements, movable and suspended over the desk working area
A fastening system for desk elements, movable and suspended over the desk working area, which consists of a track on which is coupled a movable piece with wheels on one of its sides and a flange on the other with a sliding system, which allows said movable piece to move along the track to and fro, to which an arm is added in order to keep desk elements airily above the working area.
The present invention involves an aerial and movable fastening system for desk elements above the working area of the desk.
FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention is applicable in the field related to the act of fastening desk elements and computers.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONToday, the major deficiency of existing fastening systems for desk elements on a desk is their being fixed. They consist of arms with a fixed base, which are therefore impossible to slide over the working area.
Furthermore, the existing fastening systems focus the force and/or tension on one point only and are thence hardly safe, since they become loose from time to time and must be tightened or re-screwed. This places the fastened elements at risk. As regards hardly resistant materials, the surface is broken by the screws or those elements difficult to anchor.
Consequently, a system should be designed which enables the fastening arms to slide over the working area and focuses the force on more than one point, in order that the surface on which it is to be placed is not put at risk.
So far, there has been no knowledge of a fastening system with the features of the one described herein, which solves the problem related to the sliding of the fastening arms above the working area.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTIONThe fastening system with a movable arm described herein begins with a T-shaped track with longitudinal wings on which there is an eight-wheel sliding piece.
Such track is placed along and on the edge of the working surface or table, distributing the force over the whole surface.
Once placed on the surface, the track is introduced in a sliding wheeled piece on which an arm is secured, which allows desk elements to slide in the air voluntarily, in any position to and from along the track.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGSIn order to complete this description and in order to provide a better understanding of the features of the invention, this Specification is accompanied by a set of figures of a merely illustrative and non-restrictive nature, made a part hereof, which represent the following:
The fastening system with a movable piece described herein is characterized by its having a track (1) which consists of a long parallelepipedic element with two top wings (2a) and (2p) placed along it forming a “T”. This track allows the coupling of the sliding piece (3) described below.
The sliding piece (3) consists of an element whose base has a flange (4) with wheels on its inner side (5) which fit under the posterior wing (2p) of the track (1). This base has a further flange (6), opposite to the other, bent at a square angle in its inferior edge, thus allowing the sliding piece to couple to the anterior wing (2a) of the track (1), whose inner side is preferably coated by Teflon or any other element which makes sliding easier.
An arm is coupled on the sliding piece (3), which allows the desk elements to be placed airily.
This example is not restrictive as regards solutions of arms for other elements, such as a fax, a printer, a lamp, a phone, or the like. The materials and disposition of the elements may vary, provided that the essence of the invention is not altered thereby. The terms on which this description has been made shall always be construed in their broad and non-restrictive sense.
Claims
1. An aerial and movable fastening system for desk elements above the working area of the desk, characterized by comprising a track with longitudinal wings, on which a sliding piece is coupled, with wheels on one of its sides and a flange on the other, with an sliding element in its interior.
2. An aerial and movable fastening system for desk elements above the working area of the desk, according to claim 1, characterized by the track being placed on the surface of the working area, its support force being distributed all along.
3. An aerial and movable fastening system for desk elements above the working area of the desk, according to claim 1, characterized by the movable piece sliding to and fro along the track.
4. An aerial and movable fastening system for desk elements above the working area of the desk, according to claim 1, characterized by the coupling of an arm on the movable piece, which holds desk elements airily, above the working surface, in any position along same.
