Bedding
A bedding in accordance with one embodiment of the invention is disclosed to include a plurality of sheety members, and a structure for detachably joining the sheety members such that the sheety members are detachable for cleaning to remove dust mite. In an alternate form of the invention, the bedding includes a sheety member folded or rolled into a multilayer structure, and a structure for securing the multilayer structure in shape.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to bedding and more particularly, to such a bedding, which is conveniently washed to remove dust mite allergen.
2. Description of the Related Art
It is well known that dust mite is a violent allergen. Discharged waste matter, dead bodies and eggs of dust mites will trigger allergic reaction, causing allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis, allergic gasp, eye allergy, neuro-dermatitis, urticaria, etc. According to report, the percentage of modern people suffering from allergic diseases is gradually increasing. Dust mites are commonly seen in house environment, more particularly in pillows, quilts, mattress, sofas, etc.
Waste matter from dust mites is the most aggressive allergen. Because waste matter from dust mites is water soluble, it is a good way to wash away dust mite allergen with running water. However, conventional beddings commonly have a certain thickness and not washable with water. Therefore, people usually cleaning beddings by putting them under the light of the sun or patting them with the rods. However, these methods are not effective to remove dust mite allergen.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide a bedding, which is conveniently washable to remove dust mite allergen. According to one aspect of the present invention, the bedding comprises a plurality of sheety members, and means for detachably joining the sheety members such that the sheety members are detachable for cleaning to remove dust mite allergen. According to another embodiment of the invention, the bedding comprises a sheety member folded or rolled into a multilayer structure, and means for detachably securing the multilayer structure in shape.

When wishing to wash the bedding 10, open the cover 16 and remove the sheety members 12 out of the cover 16, and then unfasten the hook and loop fasteners 18 and 19 to separate the sheety members 12 one another. The sheety members 12 each are thin and light, and machine washable. After washing, the sheety members 12 can be dried in the open air, or by a dryer. Because all elements of the bedding 10 are washable, dust mites can be effectively eliminated from the bedding 10.
The aforesaid joining means may be variously embodied.
The invention may be employed to other beddings such as pillows, mattress, etc.
Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
Claims
1. A bedding comprising:
- a plurality of sheety members; and
- means for detachably joining said sheety members.
2. The bedding as claimed in claim 1, wherein said sheety members each have a tubular shape.
3. The bedding as claimed in claim 1, wherein said means for detachably joining said sheety members comprises a hook and loop fastener disposed between two of said sheety members.
4. The bedding as claimed in claim 1, wherein said means for detachably joining said sheety members comprises a zipper provided between two of said sheety members.
5. The bedding as claimed in claim 1, wherein said means for detachably joining said sheety members comprises a loop and a button respectively applied on two of said sheety members.
6. The bedding as claimed in claim 1, wherein said means for detachably joining said sheety members comprises a clip for securing said sheety members together.
7. The bedding as claimed in claim 1, wherein said means for detachably joining said sheety members comprises a cover for receiving said sheety members inside.
8. The bedding as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a core disposed between two of said sheety members.
9. A bedding comprising:
- a sheety member folded or rolled into a multilayer structure; and
- means for detachably securing the multilayer structure in shape.
10. The bedding as claimed in claim 9, wherein said means for detachably secure the multilayer structure comprises a hook and loop fastener disposed on said sheety member.
11. The bedding as claimed in claim 9, wherein said means for detachably secure the multilayer structure comprises a zipper applied on said sheety member.
12. The bedding as claimed in claim 9, wherein said means for detachably secure the multilayer structure comprises a loop and a button applied on said sheety member.
13. The bedding as claimed in claim 9, wherein said means for detachably secure the multilayer structure comprises a clip disposed on said sheety member.
14. The bedding as claimed in claim 9, wherein said means for detachably secure the multilayer structure comprises a cover for receiving said multilayer structure inside.
15. The bedding as claimed in claim 9, further comprising a core disposed insides said multilayer structure.
