Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Field of the Invention

The present invention is related to a fixation means, and more particularly to one that is provided between stationary scroll and frame within a scroll-type compressor to eliminate operating noise or frustrated operation due to unpredictable change or narrowed ideal spacing between the positioning post and stationary scroll because that the positioning post is deformed.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

Referring to FIG. 1 for a fixation means for the stationary scroll in a scroll-type compressor generally available in the market, interior of the housing of the compressor is segregated by means of a separation block 30 into a low-pressure chamber and a high-pressure chamber; and a stationary scroll 10 and an orbiting scroll 20 are disposed at where below the separation block 30 on the lower-pressure chamber side. Wherein, the stationary scroll is placed on a frame 40 and its orbiting scroll 20 as driven by the spindle (not illustrated) of the compressor revolves around the stationary scroll without revolving on its own axis thus to change the volume between the stationary scroll and the orbiting scroll 20 to change the volume of the coolant. Accordingly, heat exchange by the coolant in the circulation pipeline is achieved by the suction and compression the coolant entering into the low-pressure chamber.

In addition to holding the stationary scroll 10 in position, the frame 40 supports and couples the orbiting scroll 20, the spindle and other related components. As illustrated in FIG. 2, the assembly required for supporting other components (including the orbiting scroll) on the frame 40 must be completed before securing the stationary scroll 10 on top of the frame 40. Therefore, the assembly means between the stationary scroll 10 and the frame 40 is provided by having one or more screwed holes 51 disposed on the positioning post 41 of the frame 40 and having a retaining spacer 70 locked to the frame 40 with a bolt 60 to define an ideal spacing A between the positioning post 41 of the frame 40 and the stationary scroll 10. The retaining spacer 70 confines and thus limits the stationary scroll 10 in position.

Since the frame 40 and the retaining spacer 70 is coupled by means of the bolt 60 and the screwed hole 51, a comparatively strong force must be applied to lock the bolt 60 into the screwed hole 51 at the expense of the assembly precision of other components. In worse case, the positioning post 41 is vulnerable to be deformed when subject to the compression from the bolt 60 and the screwed hole 51 as illustrated in FIG. 2 to further narrow down the ideal space A between the stationary scroll 10 and the positioning post 41 to result in abnormal operation noise or prevention of a smooth operation of the scroll-type compressor.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a means for the assembly of a scroll-type compressor for assurance of the assembly quality of the compressor and eliminating abnormal operation noise or prevention of smooth operation due to the deformed positioning post narrows down or changes the ideal spacing between the positioning post and the stationary scroll.

To achieve the purpose, one or multiple positioning holes is provided to the positioning post of the frame and a positioning element lock a retaining spacer to the frame to contain and thus limit the stationary scroll and to define an ideal spacing between the positioning post of the frame and the stationary scroll. Accordingly, the ideal spacing will not be affected once the rod of the positioning element is inserted into the positioning hole to lock up the positioning post to secure the retaining spacer to the frame.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing a fixation means for a stationary scroll in a scroll-type compressor of the prior art.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view of a deformed construction between the stationary scroll and a frame of the prior art.

FIG. 3 is a schematic view showing a fixation means for a stationary scroll in a scroll-type compressor of the present invention.

FIG. 4 is a sectional view of a deformed construction between the stationary scroll and a frame of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Similar to the prior art, inside the housing of the compressor in the present invention is also segregated into a low-pressure chamber and a high-pressure chamber by means of a separation block, and a stationary scroll and an orbiting scroll are disposed below the separation block in the low-pressure chamber. Wherein, the stationary scroll is placed on a frame while the orbiting scroll as driven by a spindle of the compressor revolves on the axis of the stationary scroll, instead of its own axis to change the volume of a coolant by changing the volume between the stationary scroll and the orbiting scroll. Accordingly, the coolant is sucked and compressed upon entering into the low-pressure chamber for the coolant circulation pipeline to execute heat exchange.

Referring to FIG. 3 for a construction of the stationary scroll and the frame, one or multiple positioning holes 52 is disposed on a positioning post 41 of the frame 40. A positioning element 80 locks a retaining spacer 70 to the frame 40 for the retaining spacer 70 to contain and limit the stationary scroll 10 in position, and to define an ideal spacing A between the positioning post 41 of the frame 40 and the stationary scroll 10.

As illustrated in FIG. 40, a rod 81 of the positioning element 80 extends into the positioning hole 52, and the bottom of the rod 81 is provided with a thread 811 to engage with another thread 521 disposed at the bottom of the positioning hole 52 so to secure the retaining spacer 70 to the frame 40.

Wherein, the location where the positioning element 80 to the frame 40 is far away from the stationary scroll 10, or the scope of the ideal spacing A between the stationary scroll 10 and the positioning post 41 for the interlocking between the positioning element 80 and the positioning hole 52 for maintaining the assembly quality of the compressor and effectively eliminating the defects of abnormal operation noise or prevention of a smooth operation due to narrowed or unpredictable change to the ideal spacing between the positioning post and the stationary scroll caused by deformed positioning post 41.

The prevent invention provides an improved means for the assembly of a scroll-type compressor for assurance of assembly quality of the stationary scroll, and the application for a utility patent is duly filed accordingly. However, it is to be noted that that the preferred embodiments disclosed in the specification and the accompanying drawings are not limiting the present invention; and that any construction, installation, or characteristics that is same or similar to that of the present invention should fall within the scope of the purposes and claims of the present invention.
