Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is related to a shooting structure of a paint bullet gun. In the paint bullet gun, a gunlock is controlled to reciprocally move for shooting the paint bullet. A certain amount of air is reserved in a shooting air reserving room and then the air is released for shooting the paint bullet.

The existent paint bullet gun has a mechanical type of trigger unit for controlling a striker and a gunlock for shooting a paint bullet. Referring to FIG. 6, the paint bullet gun 6 has a gun body 60 formed with an upper activating chamber 61 and a lower activating chamber 62 in parallel to each other. A vent 601 is formed between the upper and lower activating chambers 61, 62. The gun body 60 has an intake section 602 for guiding high-pressure air into the upper and lower activating chambers 61, 62 as power source. A bullet-loading section 603 is disposed on the gun body 60 for loading a paint bullet into the upper activating chamber 61. A barrel 604 is connected with one end of the upper activating chamber 61 near the bullet-loading section 603. A gunlock 63 is slidably disposed at the other end of the upper activating chamber 61.

A valve assembly 64 is disposed in the lower activating chamber 62 corresponding to the vent 601. A rear plug body 65 is disposed at one end of the lower activating chamber 62 distal from the intake section 602. A striker 66 is slidably disposed between in the lower activating chamber 62 between the valve assembly 64 and the rear plug body 65. The body section 60 is formed with a communicating tunnel 605 between the upper and lower activating chambers 61, 62 corresponding to the striker 66 and the gunlock 63. A pin 607 is passed through the communicating tunnel 605 to drivingly connect the striker 66 with the gunlock 63.

A handle 68 is disposed under the gun body 60 near the lower activating chamber 62. A trigger unit 69 is disposed in the handle 68 corresponding to the striker 66. The trigger unit 69 serves to locate and release the striker 66. A push spring 661 is disposed between the striker 66 and the rear plug body 65. When the trigger unit 69 releases the striker 66, the push spring 661 pushes the striker 66 to drive and slide the gunlock 63 for blocking the bullet-loading section 603 so as to avoid leakage of air. Also, it is prevented that a second paint bullet drops into the upper activating chamber 61 so that clog is avoided. Furthermore, the striker 66 triggers the valve assembly 64, permitting high-pressure air to enter the upper and lower activating chambers 61, 62 for shooting the paint bullet out of the barrel 604. Part of the high-pressure air will pass through the valve assembly 64 to push and restore the striker 66 back to its home position where the striker 66 is located by the trigger unit 69.

In the above structure, the trigger unit 69 has a pawl 691 for chucking or releasing the striker 66 for driving the gunlock 63 and controlling opening/closing of the valve assembly 64. Therefore, it is necessary to respectively arrange the gunlock 63 for unblocking/blocking the bullet-loading section 603 and the striker 66 for controlling the high-pressure air. Moreover, it is necessary to arrange the valve assembly 64 for controlling the air and the push spring 661 and the pin 607. Accordingly, the structure of the paint bullet gun is complicated. This leads to high processing and assembling cost. In addition, the structure includes numerous components so that the ratio of failure of the paint bullet gun is increased.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide a shooting structure of a paint bullet gun. In the paint bullet gun, a gunlock is controlled to reciprocally move for shooting the paint bullet. A certain amount of air is reserved in a shooting air reserving room of the gunlock and then the air is sent into the gunlock for shooting the paint bullet. Only one single gunlock is used to unblock/block the bullet-dropping port and control the intake of the air going into the air duct for shooting the paint bullet. The structure of the present invention is simplified so that the ratio of failure of the paint bullet gun is reduced. Also, the manufacturing cost for the paint bullet gun is greatly lowered.

According to the above object, the shooting structure of the paint bullet gun of the present invention includes a gun body and a handle. A gunlock and a shot control unit are disposed in the gun body. An air source serves to fill air into the gun body. A trigger unit is disposed in the handle for controlling the shot control unit which controls the gunlock to reciprocally move, whereby a paint bullet can be controllably dropped into the gun body and the air of the air source can be controlled to shoot the paint bullet.

An activating chamber is formed in the gun body. One end of the activating chamber is connected with a barrel. The gunlock is slidably disposed in the activating chamber. A bullet-dropping port is disposed on the activating chamber near the barrel. An annular shooting air reserving room is formed on outer circumference of the activating chamber of gun body for reserving a certain amount of air. The air source supplies air for the shooting air reserving room. A first intake and a second intake are formed between the shooting air reserving room and the activating chamber to communicate the activating chamber with the shooting air reserving room. A vent is formed between the air source and the activating chamber to communicate the activating chamber with the air source.

The gunlock is a bar body. A first space and a second space are defined between the bar body and inner wall of the activating chamber. The first space is movable along with the reciprocally moved gunlock to be aligned with the first intake, while the second space is movable along with the reciprocally moved gunlock to be aligned with the second intake and the vent. A front section of the gunlock is formed with an internal air duct. One end of the air duct extends to a front end of the gunlock corresponding to the bullet-dropping port. The other end of the air duct extends to communicate with the first space.

The present invention can be best understood through the following description and accompanying drawings wherein:

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 2. The shooting structure of the paint bullet gun of the present invention includes a gun body 1. An activating chamber 11 and more than one air reservoir 12 are parallelly arranged in the gun body 1.

One end of the activating chamber 11 is connected with a barrel 13. A gunlock 14 is slidably accommodated in the other end of the activating chamber 11. A bullet-dropping port 111 is disposed on the activating chamber 11 near the barrel 13, whereby a paint bullet 112 can be dropped and loaded into the activating chamber 11. An annular shooting air reserving room 15 is formed on outer circumference of the activating chamber 11 of gun body 1. A first intake 151 and a second intake 152 are formed between the shooting air reserving room 15 and the activating chamber 11 to communicate the activating chamber 11 with the shooting air reserving room 15. A vent 153 is formed between the air reservoir 12 and the activating chamber 11. A handle pressure regulator 121 is disposed under front section of the air reservoir 12 for adjusting the pressure coming from an air source into the air reservoir 12. In addition, a shot control unit 2 is disposed in the gun body 1 for driving the gunlock 14 to move back and forth.

The gunlock 2 is a bar body. In this embodiment, a first annular groove 141 and a second annular groove 142 are formed on the body of the gunlock 14. A first space 141a and a second space 142a are defined between the first and second annular grooves 141, 142 and inner wall of the activating chamber 11. In addition, a front section of the gunlock 14 is formed with an internal air duct 143. One end of the air duct 143 extends to a front end of the gunlock 14. The other end of the air duct 143 extends to a section of the gunlock 14 where the first annular groove 141 is formed. This section is formed with several radial through holes 144 communicating the air duct 143 with the first space 141a. Several O-rings 1457 are inlaid in outer circumference of the gunlock 14 to airtight abut against inner wall of the activating chamber 11 for avoiding leakage of air.

A handle 17 is arranged under the gun body 1 near the handle pressure regulator 121. A trigger unit 18 is disposed in the handle 17 corresponding to the shot control unit 2 for controlling the same. In this embodiment, the trigger unit 18 includes a trigger 181, a linking plate 182 and a spring 183. The trigger 181 can drive the linking plate 182 to control the shot control unit 2.

The shot control unit 2 has a valve body 3 and a piston body 4. In this embodiment, the gun body 1 is formed with a passage 19 between the activating chamber 11 and the air reservoir 12 in parallel thereto. The valve body 3 and the linking plate 182 are accommodated in the passage 19. The valve body 3 is formed with an internal cavity in which a valve rod 31 is mounted. Referring to FIG. 2, a middle section of the valve body 3 is formed with several cuts 34 communicating with the cavity 32. The air reservoir 12 is formed with a passage 122 communicating with the cuts 34, whereby part of the air in the air reservoir 12 can enter the cavity 32. Two ends of the cavity 32 are respectively formed with a first ventiduct 33 and a second ventiduct 35 communicating with the interior of the piston body 4. The valve rod 31 is formed with a first plug section 311 and a second plug section 312 respectively corresponding to the first and second ventiducts 33, 35. One end of the valve rod 31 is connected with the linking plate 182 of the trigger unit 18. The trigger 181 of the trigger unit 18 can drive the valve rod 31 to reciprocally move within the cavity 32, whereby the first plug section 311 or the second plug section 312 unblocks/blocks the first ventiduct 33 or-second ventiduct 35. Accordingly, the air in the air reservoir 12 is controllable to enter the piston body 4, making the piston body 4 drive the gunlock 14 to reciprocally move.

The piston body 4 is fixed at one end of the activating chamber 11 of the gun body 1 opposite to the barrel 13. A rear plug body 16 seals the activating chamber 11. The piston body 4 is formed with an internal receiving passage 41 in which a piston rod 42 with a piston block 421 is accommodated. A front end and a rear end of the receiving passage 41 respectively communicate with the first and second ventiducts 33, 35 of the valve body 3. One end of the piston rod 42 opposite to the piston block 421 is connected with the gunlock 14. By means of controlling intake of the first ventiduct 33 or second ventiduct 35 of the valve body 3, the piston rod 42 is controllable to move forward or backward. Accordingly, the gunlock 14 is drivable to move back and forth.

In normal state, that is, a ready state, the valve rod 31 of the valve body 3 of the shot control unit 2 is controlled by the trigger unit 18 to move backward. At this time, the first plug section 311 of the valve rod 31 unblocks the first ventiduct 33 of the cavity 32, while the second plug section 312 of the valve rod 31 blocks the second ventiduct 35 of the cavity 32. After the air of the air source goes through the handle pressure regulator 121 into the air reservoir 12, part of the air will go through the passage 122 and the cuts 34 into the cavity 32 and then go through the unblocked first ventiduct 33 into the receiving passage 41 of the piston body 4 for pushing and retreating the piston block 421 of the piston rod 42. At this time, the piston rod 42 will drive the gunlock 14 to retreat, whereby front end of the gunlock 14 will move backward away from the bullet-dropping port 111. Under such circumstance, a paint bullet 112 is dropped to the front end of the gunlock 14 into a ready state. At the same time, the second space 142a defined between the second annular groove 142 of the gunlock 14 and the inner wall of the activating chamber 11 will be moved along with the gunlock 14 to the second intake 152 and the vent 153, whereby the air in the air reservoir 12 will go through the vent 153 into the second space 142a and then go through the second intake 152 into the shooting air reserving room 15. The air is reserved in the shooting air reserving room 15 for shooting the paint bullet 112.

When pulling the trigger 181, as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the trigger 181 drives the linking plate 182 to pull the valve rod 31 in the valve body 3 forward. At this time, the first plug section 311 of the valve rod 31 blocks the first ventiduct 33 of the cavity 32, while the second plug section 312 of the valve rod 31 unblocks the second ventiduct 35 of the cavity 32. At this time, the air goes through the unblocked second vent iduct 35 into the receiving passage 41 of the piston body 4 to push the piston block 421 of the piston rod 42 forward. Accordingly, the gunlock 14 is driven by the piston rod 42 to move forward, whereby the front end of the gunlock 14 blocks the bullet-dropping port 111 to avoid leakage of air and prevent a second paint bullet 112 from dropping so as to avoid clog. When the gunlock 14 moves forward, the first space 141a will be moved along with the gunlock 14 to the first intake 151 and the second space 142a is moved away from the vent 153 to prevent the air in the air reservoir 12 from further entering the shooting air reserving room 15. Therefore, a certain amount of air is kept in the shooting air reserving room 15. At this time, the certain amount of air reserved in the shooting air reserving room 15 will go through the first intake 151 into the first space 141a and then go through the through holes 144 into the air duct 143 to shoot the paint bullet 112 at front end of the gunlock 14. The capacity of the air reserved in the shooting air reserving room 15 has been calculated so that the speed of the shot paint bullet 112 is controllable as required.

After shooting the paint bullet 112, the trigger 181 is released. The spring 183 resiliently drives the linking plate 182 backward. Accordingly, the valve rod 31 of the valve body 3 is moved backward and restored to the original ready state for next shooting.

According to the above arrangement, by means of moving the gunlock, a certain amount of air is reserved in the shooting air reserving room. The air is then sent into the gunlock for shooting the paint bullet.

The above embodiment is only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiment can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
