Phillips-Frohlick St. Joan of arc, Jhesus Maria replacement ring

I, Russell Leslie Phillips, together with Virginia Lindsley Frohlick, created the +Jhesus+Maria+Ring, to replace the one that was taken from Saint Jeanne D'Arc in the year 1431. We manufactured it, using present day lettering and medieval crosses; to combine the past and the future. We did it to give Saint Jeanne D'Arc a better ring than she originally had, because she was exposed to beautifull pieces of ‘heavenly’ jewellery, that Saints Michael Archangel, Catherine of Alexandria, and Margharita of Antioch, wore upon their heads, when they appeared to her.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A gift from her mother, Saint Jeanne D'Arc's most cherished personal possession, was a ring of engraved gold. It was cruelly taken from her finger, when she became a prisoner of the British authorities, during her ‘trial of condemnation’ in the year 1431.

In February of the year 2002, I Russell Leslie Phillips, or Safed, Israel, began to read the trial records that are found on ‘the Saint Joan of Arc center’ web site.

I became inspired, in my professional capacity as a diamond grader and jeweler, to design another ring, with the intention of offering it as a ‘gift of love’ and as a ‘replacement’ for the one taken from Saint Jeanne D'Arc.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

There are three drawings.

Drawing number one depicts the technical measurements of the ring.

Drawing number two depicts the lettering and the crosses.

Drawing number three depicts the whole ring.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

I, Russell Leslie Phillips, of Safed, Israel, together with Virginia Lindsley Frohlick of Albuquerque, New-Mexico, did jointly create the ‘Jhesus Maria ring’, to replace the one that was confiscated from Saint Jeanne D'Arc, at her ‘trial of condemnation’, in the year 1431.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The ‘Jhesus Maria ring’was Manufactured in the base metal of silver first, as a mode, by constructing two separate rings; one with the lettering and crosses, and then mounting that, on to another ‘matte background’ ring.

Once this ‘base metal model’ had been handworked, it was then made into a wax mode, from which the ‘investment casting’ process can construct the model desired, in either ‘sterling silver’, ‘14 kt’, or ‘18 kt’. Yellow or white gold.

24 kt gold is ‘fine gold’, that is; 100% pure gold.

18 kt. ‘yellow’ or ‘white’ gold is composed of; 75% ‘fine gold’, and 25% other alloy, such as, copper in the case of ‘yellow’ gold, or nickel in the case of ‘white’ gold.

14 kt. ‘yellow’ or ‘white’ gold is composed of; 58.5% ‘fine gold’, and 41.5% other alloy, such as, copper in the case of ‘yellow’ gold, or nickel in the case of ‘white’ gold.
