Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to an LCD-embeddable screen structure and particularly to a screen structure provided with a space for a liquid crystal display (LCD).

2. Description of Related Art

Conventionally, in design, a screen is structured with partitions around the desktop of a personal office desk, a computer table or the like, and we usually put the LCD on the desktop of the office desk, the computer table or the like for convenient use; however, available space is reduced.

Referring now to FIG. 1, a conventional screen structure comprises screen partitions 12a structured into a screen module 10a in the form of a base located on the ground. The conventional screen partitions 12a into the screen structure are closed boards, so no cavity is provided for embedding an LCD 20a. Thus, a user usually puts the LCD 20a on only a side of the desktop. Space available of on the desktop 30a is thereby occupied, which makes the processing of routine works inconvenient so that work efficiency is reduced.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention mainly provides an LCD-embeddable screen structure, and an embedded cavity is provided for an LCD installed on a designed screen partition. Thus, the LCD will not occupy available space on the desktop, and office workers with a working pressure or general users may have a wider and more comfortable personal working space.

Next, through the design of the LCD-embeddable screen structure, problems of increasing stress, tired mind and body, uneasy working environment, and poor working efficiency caused by the conventional screen structure are improved.

For the objects mentioned above, this invention provides the LCD-embeddable screen structure comprising a screen module structured with a front partition, a side partition, and a rear partition and formed with an accommodation space. The front partition of the screen module is provided with an embedded cavity correspondingly allowing the LCD. A fixing board is located in the accommodation space of the screen module, corresponding to the embedded cavity and fixed with a first fixing element onto the screen module. Protruding adjustment rims are provided at two sides of the fixing board. An LCD corresponding to the embedded cavity is fixed with a second fixing element onto the fixing board.

In the description mentioned above, only the detailed description and drawings of the embodiments according to this invention are provided without limit to this invention and the characteristics of this invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring now to FIGS. 2, 3, and 5, this invention provides an LCD-embeddable screen structure (1) made up with a screen module 10, a fixing board 20, an L-shaped joint workpiece 30, and an LCD 40.

The screen module 10 serving as a base is located on the ground, structured with a front partition 11, a side partition 12, and a rear partition 13, and formed with an accommodation space 14, in which the front partition 11 is provided with an embedded cavity 112 and a first riveting hole 132 is provided in the rear partition 13.

The L-shaped joint workpiece 30 has a second riveting hole 31, a first screw hole 32, and a rivet 33, in which the second riveting hole 31 is corresponding to the first riveting hole 132 and the L-shaped joint workpiece 30 serves as a first fixing element.

The fixing board 20 has a second screw hole 21, a third screw 22, a screw nut 23, a first fixing hole 24, a first screw 25, and adjustment rims 26. The fixing board 20 is in the form of a concave board, the second screw hole 21 is corresponding to the first screw hole 32, and the third screw 22 is inserted and fixed into the second screw hole 21 and the first screw hole 32. The screw nut 23 is used to cap one end of the third screw 22 and fix it so that the fixing board 20 and the L-shape joint workpiece 30 are fixed together with the third screw 22. The first fixing hole 24 passes through a center of the other side of the fixing board 20. The adjustment rims 26 protrude from the edge of two protruding sides of the fixing board 20, and the adjustment rims 26 are in the form of an arc and are connected to the edge of the two protruding sides of the fixing board 20. The LCD is in the form of a quadrilateral corresponding to the embedded cavity 112, a fixing hole 41 is provided in one side of the LCD 40 and corresponding to the first fixing hole 24, and the first screw 25 is inserted and fixed into the first fixing hole 24 and the second fixing hole 41. The LCD 30 is fixed onto the fixing board 20 with the rivet 33 passing through the second riveting hole 31 and the first riveting hole 132, the other side of the L-shaped joint workpiece 30 secured onto the fixing board 20 is fixed onto the rear partition 13, and the front partition 11 with the embedded cavity 112 is kept to be corresponding to the LCD 40 and is assembled onto the screen module. The LCD-embeddable 40 screen structure (1) is thus formed.

Referring now to FIG. 4, because the LCD 40 is fixed onto the fixing board 20 with the third screw 22 and the screw nut 23, but the third screw 22 and the screw nut 23 are not rigidly locked together, and because the adjustment rims 26 of the fixing board 20 are in the form of the arc and are connected to the edges of the two protruding sides of the fixing board 20 to prevent the rims 26 from touching an obstacle that would hinder turning thereof, a section of the third screw 22 locked to the screw nut 23 may make the fixing board 20 and the LCD 40 simultaneously turn and thereby the user may adjust the LCD for an angle of view that is suitable to him or her.

Referring now to FIG. 6, in a second embodiment of this invention, the LCD 40 is fixed with a first universally foldable device 50 onto the fixing board 20. Thus, in the second embodiment of this invention, the first universally foldable device 50 helps the user adjust the LCD 40 for a line of vision that is suitable to him or her.

Referring now to FIG. 7, in a third embodiment of this invention, the fixing board 20 is fixed with a second screw 60 onto the side partition 12.

Referring now to FIG. 8, in a fourth embodiment of this invention, the LCD 40 is fixed with the first universally foldable device 50 onto the fixing board 20. Thus, in the fourth embodiment of this invention, the first universally foldable device 50 helps the user adjust the LCD 40 for a line of vision that is suitable to him or her.

Referring now to FIG. 9, in a fifth embodiment of this invention, the fixing board 20 is fixed with a second universally foldable device 70 onto the rear partition 13, and protruding wedges 80 are extended and provided respectively on edges of two protruding sides of the fixing board 20. One end of the second universally foldable device 70 is joined with one side of the fixing board 20 and the other end of that is fixed onto one side of the screen module 10 of which a right frontage is not hidden from view by the screen partition, and the second universally foldable device 70 helps the user adjust the LCD 40 for a line of vision that is suitable to him or her. The wedges 80 are provided to prevent the LCD 40 from being caught in the embedded cavity 112 when the LCD 40 is retracted.

Referring now to FIG. 10, in a sixth embodiment of this invention, the fixing board 2 0 is fixed with a U-shaped joint workpiece 90 onto the side partition 12.

The LCD-embeddable screen structure (1) according to this invention is provided with an embedded cavity for an LCD installed on a front screen partition, which may resolve a problem of reduction of available space due to a conventional LCD put on a desk.

Also, the adjustment rims are provided on the edge of the two protruding sides of the fixing board and help the user flexibly adjust the LCD for an angle that is suitable to him or her to use so that the LCD-embeddable screen structure (1) is made to meet a design concept of ergonomics for bringing to the user a more comfortable operation environment.

A design of the universally foldable device according to this invention makes the LCD more flexible in use.

To sum up, this invention resolves problems of the increasing psychological stress, tired mind and body, uneasy working environment, and poor working efficiency caused by a crowded used space on the conventional desk.

However, in the description mentioned above, only the preferred embodiments according to this invention are provided without limit to claims of this invention; all those skilled in the art without exception should include the equivalent changes and modifications as falling within the true scope and spirit of the present invention.
