Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a compact device, and more particularly to a compact device including a base receptacle and an upper cover each having an inner member and an outer member for forming a decorative structure.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Typical compact devices or cosmetic casings or vanity cases each comprises a base casing for receiving or carrying cosmetic materials or loose powders therein, and an upper cover pivotally attached to the base casing, for enclosing the base casing, and for stably retaining the cosmetic materials or loose powders within the base casing.

For example, U.S. Pat. No. 2,041,260 to Morrison, and U.S. Pat. No. 2,468,161 to Beseke disclose two of the typical compact devices or cosmetic casings each also comprising a base casing having a number of compartments formed therein for receiving or carrying cosmetic materials or loose powders therein, and an upper cover pivotally attached to the base casing.

Normally, the base casing and the upper cover are made of a single layer of plastic or metal or other materials, and may have a single color formed or provided or applied on the outer peripheral portion thereof, such that the base casing and the upper cover of the typical compact devices or cosmetic casings may not have beautiful and decorative structures or outer contours.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional compact devices or cosmetic casings.
