Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention is related to a heat mattress for bed having springs and heating wire that are electrically connected to an electric source for hating. Specifically, the present invention provides a heat mattress with a container and the container contains a binding post and is located between the springs not to be exposed to the outside, thereby shielding the user from electromagnetic waves radiated from the binding post.

BACKGROUND ART

One of the conventional heat mattress for bed is disclosed in Korean Patent 184360. In the mattress of this patent, heating wire are composed of two layers and each layer is formed in spiral shape, and the currents flowing in the inner layer and the current flowing in the outer layer are of opposite direction, which blocks 99.9 % of the electromagnetic waves from the wires. However, it cannot block the electromagnetic waves from the temperature controller or from the binding. post that electrically connects the wire to electric power.

As the binding post and the controller are attached to the outer surface of the product to be exposed outside, the conventional mattress cannot shield the user from the electromagnetic waves.

Also, when not in use as in summer, the controller exposed to the outside is an obstacle for a neat storing. Therefore, usually one should detach the controller for storing.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, an objective of the present invention is to Provide a heat mattress for bed with the binding post located in Its inside for the electromagnetic waves not to reach the user.

Another objective of the present invention is to protect the container from the damages caused from vibration or impact in use, by placing the container that contains a binding post between springs, and by securing the container to springs with a band to make the container move along the movement of the springs.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a heat mattress for bed having a zipper on its exterior near the location of the container so that the user can see the container inside and can put the temperature controller inside the mattress.

To realize the above objects, the present invention provides a heat mattress for bed having springs and heating wire which are electrically connected to an electric source for heating comprise a container located between the springs and containing a binding post to supply electric power to the heating wire; and a shield located between the wires and the mattress and made of at least one of shield net or carbon fiber to shield electromagnetic waves.

The heating wire are comprised of two layers and each layer is formed spirally, and the currents flowing in the inner layer and current flowing in the outer layer are of opposite direction that the electromagnetic waves caused by inner current and outer currents are offset with each other.

The container is made of any one of iron, aluminum or ABS and has protrusions on its both sides for mounting. Each of the protrusions has a plurality of holes so that band passing through the holes ties the container to the spring.

A zipper is provided to the exterior of the mattress so that a temperature controller controlling the temperature of the heating wire can be inserted into the container.

The mattress can have two containers and each container can contain a temperature controller respectively.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

With reference to the attached drawings, the embodiment of the present invention is described as below.

FIG. 1 schematically shows the shape of a mattress 100 and FIG. 2 is a vertical sectional view (A-B) of inner structure of a mattress according to one embodiment of the present invention.

The exterior of the mattress 100 is composed of fabric 102. The inside of mattress 100 are shield surface 104, heating wire 106, top cover 108, springs 110, bottom cover 112 and a container 114.

The shield surface 104 is made of shield net or carbon fiber. The shield net can be copper net, silver net, iron net, etc.

This shield surface 104 blocks the electromagnetic waves emitted from the heating wire 104 and makes the waves not to reach the user. For this, the shield surface 104 is located between heating wire 106 and fabric 102 to block the electromagnetic waves.

The heating wire 106 has a core made of ceramic, an inner heating wire spirally wrapping the core, the ceramic insulator wrapping the inner wire and an outer heating wire spirally wrapping the ceramic insulator in opposite direction.

Therefore, the currents flowing in the inner wire and the current flowing in the outer wire are of opposite direction with each other and are offset so that the electromagnetic waves are not emitted outward.

This art is disclosed at the Korean patent 184360 in detail.

The top cover 108 and the bottom cover 112 are made of pressed cotton. They secure the springs 110 in the mattress 100 and increase cushion effect and comfort.

The springs 110 are arranged at the inside of the mattress 100 with regular interval between them and can absorb the shock.

The fabric 102, the covers 108, 112, and the springs 110 are equal to those of prior art. Therefore the detailed description is omitted.

FIG. 3 is the schematic diagram of the container of FIG. 2.

With reference to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, a container 114 having a binding post 130 is located between springs 110. Or the container 114 can be at the place of a spring 110 after the removal of the spring 110. The position of the container 114 can be changed according to the size of itself and/or springs 110.

The container 114 can be made of iron, aluminum, ABS, etc. and can endure the shock or the vibration without causing damage.

The binding post 130 is mounted in the container 114 and supplies the power to the heating wire 106. While supplying the power, the binding post 130 emits a little electromagnetic wave.

Protrusions 132 are formed on both sides of the container 114. One or more holes are formed at the protrusion 132 to let the band 134 passes through.

FIG. 4 schematically shows how to connect the container to springs.

A band secures the container 114 and the springs 110. The band 136 passes through the holes 134 and two opposite springs 110. Therefore, the container 114 and two opposite springs 110 are fixed together. Accordingly, when the springs 110 make movement, the container 114 also move according the movement of the springs 110.

The band 136 can be made of materials that are not only strong but also flexible such as rubber, vinyl, fiber or iron.

FIG. 5 schematically shows how to connect the temperature controller.

A zipper 150 is formed on the exterior of the mattress 100 near the area where the container is located. If the zipper 150 is opened, the container 114 and the binding post can be observed.

The binding post 130 is electrically connected to a lead line 202. The lead line 202 is connected to a temperature controller 204 that controls the current flowing in the heating wire 106 to control the heating power.

The plug 206 is formed on the opposite face of the temperature controller 204.

The container 114 has the space in which the controller 204 can be inserted. In summer or when not in use, the controller 204 can be inserted into the container 114 after the zipper 150 is opened.

FIG. 6 shows how to mount the plural controllers.

The mattress 100 has two sets of the heating wires 106.

  • Each controls a controller 204.

When two users use one mattress together, one user can independently control the temperature of his side.

On both sides of the mattress 100 is respectively formed a zipper 150 and the inside the zippers are formed the space for mounting the containers 114.

The preferred embodiment of the present invention is described so far. But the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above. It will be apparent to those skilled the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the heat mattress for bed of the present invention without deviating from the spirit or scope of the invention.

For example, it is described that the protrusion is longitudinally formed and the band hole is formed on it. However, any modification is possible only if the container and springs can be connected

It is described above that the shield is made of carbon fiber. However, any material that can absorb the electromagnetic waves can be used.

It is described above that the number of heating wire is one or two. However, more than two heating wires can be acceptable according to the size of the mattress and/or the number of users.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY

According to the present invention, the binding post is inside the mattress and can make the electromagnetic waves not reach the user.

Also, according to the present invention, a heat mattress is having a zipper on its exterior near the area where the container is located. Therefore, the use can observe the condition of the container and a temperature controller can be contained inside the mattress.

Also, according to the present invention, the container moves along the springs. Therefore, the container is protected form the impact.
