Duster
A duster comprises a wiping assembly; a wiping brush being installed below the wiping assembly; and a clamping cover for clamping the wiping assembly. In assembly state, a middle section of the cover is folded to clamp the wiping assembly and the wiping brush so that the middle section of the cover is formed with a clamp portion for clamping the wiping assembly and the wiping brush which being thermally combined. Each of two sides of one end is formed with a respective cambered portion, where a hollow space being formed between the cambered portion and an outer side of the wiping assembly; the hollow space being sealed at another end of the cover. In use, a handle with a biforked portion can be inserted into the two hollow spaces so that user can hold the handle to control the duster.
The present invention relates to dusters, more particularly to a duster, wherein a cover clamps a wiping assembly and a wiping brush; each of two sides of the cover is formed with a respective cambered portion. A hollow space is formed between the cambered portion and an outer side of the wiping assembly; the hollow space being sealed at another end of the cover so that a handle can be inserted into the hollow spaces.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONThe dusters of the prior art are mainly feather dusters suitable for cleaning surfaces of large areas and less efficient for cleaning irregular surfaces. To clean irregular surfaces, a cleaning cloth is held by a hand and applied to a surface. The hand holding the cloth is easy to get stained, or the hand will wear a glove, which is inconvenient to a user in either case. Therefore, it is desirable to invent a duster for generally cleaning and cleaning irregular surfaces.
The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed descriptions of three preferred embodiments when read in conjunction with the respective appended drawings.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe primary objective of the present invention is to provide a duster. The duster comprises a wiping assembly; a wiping brush being installed below the wiping assembly; and a clamping cover for clamping the wiping assembly. In assembly state, a middle section of the cover is folded to clamp the wiping assembly and the wiping brush so that the middle section of the cover is formed with a clamp portion for clamping the wiping assembly and the wiping brush which being thermally combined. Each of two sides of one end is formed with a respective cambered portion, where a hollow space being formed between the cambered portion and an outer side of the wiping assembly; the hollow space being sealed as another end of the cover. In use, a handle can be inserted into the two hollow spaces so that user can hold the handle to control the duster.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be described in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.
Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, the duster of the present invention is illustrated. A duster 12 has the following elements.
A wiping assembly 1 is formed by an upper layer, a middle layer and a lower layer. The upper layer is a web-like textured non-weave cloth 2. The middle layer is a plane non-weave cloth 3 and the lower layer is also a plane non-weave cloth 4. The non-weave cloth in the middle layer and the lower layer are thermally combined. Two sides of each of the upper, middle and lower layers are cut to have plurality of strips 9.
A wiping brush 10 is installed below the wiping assembly 1. The wiping brush 10 is thermally combined to the wiping assembly 1. The wiping brush 10 is an electrostatic dust-removing portion. The wiping brush 10 has a plurality of beams 14. Each beam 14 has a plurality of nodes so that some portions have larger sizes and some portions have reduced sizes, as shown in

The present invention is thus described, and it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
Claims
1. A duster comprising:
- a wiping assembly formed by an upper layer, a middle layer and a lower layer; the upper layer being a textured non-weave cloth; the middle layer being a plane non-weave cloth and the lower layer being also a plane non-weave cloth; a middle sections of the non-weave cloth in the middle layer and the lower layer being combined; two sides of each of the upper, middle and lower layers being cut to have plurality of strips;
- a wiping brush being installed below the wiping assembly; the wiping brush being thermally combined to the wiping assembly; the wiping brush being an electrostatic dust removing portion; the wiping brush having a plurality of beams; each beam having a plurality of nodes so that some portions having larger sizes and some portions have reduced sizes; there being about 1 to 50 nodes in each inch of each beam;
- a clamping cover for clamping the wiping assembly; in an expanding state; two sides of the cover being formed with W shape; the W shape in one end of the cover being faced upwards and the W shape in another end of the cover being faced downwards so that the two W shapes having opposite orientations; a middle section of the cover being formed with a notch; each of two sides of the notch being formed with a wide welded portion; two sides of the upper surface of the cover being formed with a plurality of soldering points; the notch having the effect to make the wiping brush to move freely with a great moving area;
- in assembly state, the Middle section of the cover being folded to clamp the wiping assembly and the wiping brush so that the middle section of the cover being formed with a clamp portion for clamping the wiping assembly and the wiping brush which being thermally combined; each of two sides of one end of the cover being formed with a respective cambered portion, where a hollow space being formed between each cambered portion and an outer side of the wiping assembly; the hollow space being sealed at another end of the cover;
- wherein in use, a handle with a biforked portion can be inserted into the two hollow spaces so that user can hold the handle to control the duster.
