Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a grease gun supplying grease to another machine or device, and more particularly to a structure for combining a grease gun with a grease tube.

DESCRIPTION OF RELATED ART

Grease is used to lubricate the contact parts between mobile components and static components to reduce the abrasion of a machine and increase the use life of the machine. A general operation is to supply grease with a grease gun to positions in the machine need to be lubricated to allow the supply of the grease to be more convenient and easy.

There are many patents concerning a grease gun, such as the U.S. Pat. Nos. 6,834,781, 6,736,292, 6,698,601, 6,675,992, 6,666,356, 6,494,347, 6,290,106 and 6,135,327.

Pleases refer to FIG. 1. A general grease gun 10 has a flange 11 to combine with a grease tube 12. Grease 121 is stored in the grease tube 12 for the grease gun 10 to deliver the grease 121 out through a guide tube 13. Internal threads 112 are disposed in a connection hole 111 of the flange 11 and external threads 123 are disposed at the outside of an opening 122 of the grease tube 12; utilizing the internal threads 112 to be engaged with the external threads 123 allows the flange 11 to be combined with the grease tube 12.

It is known that the opening of the grease tube must be first in alignment with the corresponding connection hole of the grease gun when the grease gun is caused to combined with the grease tube, and the grease tube is then revolved tight to cause both of them to be engaged each other. When the grease is fully filled in the grease tube and the grease is very heavy, i.e. when a user handholds a heavier grease tube, it is very difficult to align the opening of the grease tube with the connection hole of the grease gun because the user's hand is liable to shiver so that the alignment time is consumed more. Also because it is a design without guiding support structure, even if it manages with an effort to complete the alignment, the accurate position is easy to be deviated because of shivering in the process of the engagement so that the external threads of the grease tube and the internal threads of the connection hole of the grease gun can not be engaged with each other correctly. Therefore, an alignment must be redone to process the operation of the engagement, much time and vitality wasting is unavoidable. Otherwise, the grease tube cannot be airtightly combined with the grease gun so that the grease cannot be output because the external threads and the internal threads are not accurately engaged and even more, the threads are damaged because the engagement is improper. The grease in the grease tube is squeezed out to contaminate the floor or the user is clipped and wounded if a strong coil spring in the grease tube that has been pulled back to the rear end thereof is carelessly loosen while the grease tube is aligned with the connection hole of the grease gun in the process of combining the grease gun with the grease tube.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

For improving the conventional structure for combining a grease gun with a grease tube so as to allow a user to combine the grease gun with the grease tube, the present invention is proposed.

The main object of the present invention is provide a structure for coming a grease gun with a grease tube, allowing the grease gun to be combined with a grease tube easier and more time saving.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a structure for combining a grease gun with a grease tube, allowing the grease gun to be combined with the grease tube more conveniently and safely.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The present invention can be more fully understood by reference to the following description and accompanying drawings, in which:

FIG. 1 is a schematic view, showing a conventional structure for combining a grease gun with a grease tube;

FIG. 2 is a prospective view, showing a structure for combining a grease gun with a grease tube of a first preferred embodiment according to the present invention;

FIG. 3 a prospective view, showing a state that a grease gun is combined with a grease tube according to the present invention; and

FIG. 4 is a prospective view, showing a structure for combining a grease gun with a grease tube of a second preferred embodiment according to the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Please refer to FIGS. 2 and 3. The figures show a structure combining a grease gun with a grease tube of a preferred embodiment according to the present invention. The structure comprises a protruding-out guide positioning section 22 disposed at the outside of a connection hole 21 for a grease tube 25 of a grease gun 20; a seat body 23 extended below the guide positioning section 22 is used for supporting the grease tube 25 installed above the guide positioning section 22; a battery accepting case 231 for receiving batteries is disposed at the lower end of the seat body 23; that the seat body 23 is operated in coordination with a handle 24 can support the grease gun 20 to form a erect state.

The shape of an inner side face 221 of the guide position section 22 of the grease gun 20 of the embodiment corresponding to the outer portion of the opening 251 of the grease tube 25 is half circular so that a user can easily engage the part of the opening 251 of the grease tube 25 into the inner side face 221 of the guide positioning section 22 of the grease gun 20 to allow the opening 251 of the grease tube 25 to be automatically in alignment with the connection hole 21 of the grease gun 20 and allow the grease tube 25 to be supported in the process that the grease tube 25 is revolved to engage with the grease gun 20. The user needs not to exert a force to support the opening 251 of the grease tube 25 at the same time when the grease tube 25 is revolved so that the engagement of external threads 252 outside of the opening 251 and internal threads 211 of the connection hole 21 is easier to allow the grease tube 25 to be combined quickly with the grease gun 20.

Please refer to FIG. 4. The figure shows a structure for combining a grease gun with a grease tube of a second preferred embodiment according to the present invention. A guide positioning section 32 constituted by a plurality of raised pieces 321 is disposed outside of a connection hole 31 of a grease gun 30 in which the inner side faces of the raised pieces 321 are formed to be an arc arrangement, this can also attain to the effect that the opening 251 of the grease tube 25 is allowed to position quickly and be automatically in alignment with the connection hole 31 of the grease gun 30. A user further revolve the grease tube 25, the external threads 252 outside of the opening 251 can then be engaged with internal threads 311 of the connection hole 31 to allow the grease tube 25 to be combined quickly with the grease gun 30.

The present invention can make the operation that the grease tube with more grease is combined with the grease gun easier. The user only place the engagement portion of the grease tube into the inner side face of the guide positioning section of the grease gun, the engagement portion of the grease tube can then quickly and automatically be in alignment with the engagement portion of the grease gun and the engagement operation can easily be processed to allow the combination of the grease gun and the grease tube to be more easy, time-saving, convenient and safe. Therefore, the present invention can improve the defect of the conventional combination of a grease gun and a grease tube so as to obtain a better effect.

Additional advantages and modifications will readily occur to those skilled in the art. Therefore, the invention in its broader aspects is not limited to the specific details and representative embodiments shown and described herein. Accordingly, various modifications may be made without departing from the spirit or scope of the general inventive concept as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
