BACK GROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Technical Field

The present invention generally relates to fitness equipment.

2. Background

Currently, there are several exercise machines available for in-home use; however, machines that provide complete body work-out require lot of room, and lot of time to set-up. Also, these machines can not be easily stowed away. Typically the machines that are compact do not provide a full set of exercises required for complete body work out. The need for a compact full body workout machine that can be easily set-up and stowed away remains unmet.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A compact exercise machine to be used for personal fitness that provides full body workout. It can be used for variety of exercises including, but not limited to, abdominal, back, stretching, resistance, flexibility, etc. This device requires less than a minute to set-up and stowed away.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWINGS(S)

FIG. 1 provides the illustration of the Multi-use exercise device.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The Multi-use exercise device (MED) is a compact machine that provides full body work out without requiring lot of storage space or space to exercise; Also, it can be easily stowed away. As outlined in FIG. 1 the MED is composed of a base plate 001, adjustable self-locking lever 007 (lever), and self-locking lever release button 006 (release button). When release button is pushed it causes the lever to get in the release mode and drop to the level of the base plate. If the lever is tapped, while it is in the release mode, it causes the lever to lift up from the base to the maximum height and then automatically get locked at that height. This locking ability allows the base plate to be easily secured under a stationary object such as a sofa, bed, etc. The MED has resistance straps 002 (straps), handles 003 connected to the straps, and padded rollers 005 (rollers) to secure users ankles or feet. A semi-cushioned pad 004 (pad) is attached to the base plate for user to lie on while exercising. Optional back support cushions can be added to the pad. While MED is not being used, the pad can be rolled and secured to the base.

In order to initiate an exercise session, while the lever is in the release mode, a user slides the base plate, under a stationary object, such as but not limited to, a sofa, chair, bed, etc. Then the user taps on the lever, which causes the base plate to get secured. Once the base plate is secured the user can perform various exercises such as sit-ups, use the straps and handles to perform resistance training for upper and lower body. The user can easily add and remove straps to increase or decrease resistance. Once the user has finished an exercise session, they can push the release button that causes the lever to drop to the base, allowing the user to remove the base plate under the object. Once the base plate is removed under the object, the user can roll up the pad and then stow the MED for storage.
