Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an improved clothes hanger and more particularly to a clothes hanger or a similar structure having hanging fins, which are pivotally mounted on the lower lateral surfaces of a base, wherein the hanging fins are detachably held by buckle means, which are mounted on the upper lateral surfaces of the base, such that the hanging fins can be put to use in both folded and unfolded forms, and the required space for hanging the clothes can be saved by the hanging fins in the folded form. Accordingly, the clothes hanger of the present invention is suitable for dwelling houses and all kind of marketplaces.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The conventional clothes hanger generally includes a bended part, which is bended into a hook and a triangular frame (not shown). An article of clothing is hung on the triangular frame and the hook is hung on a rod. However, this conventional type clothes hanger is only suitable for one article of clothing. When numerous clothes need to be hung, the considerable clothes hangers must be put to use. Accordingly, the conventional type clothes hanger does not fill the need of the user when it is put into actual use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The preferred embodiment of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

Referring to FIG. 1 through FIG. 4, an improved structure of a clothes hanger of the present invention is shown. The clothes hanger comprises a base 10 and two hanging fins 20. The base 10 is composed of two coupled housings 11, 12, wherein two buckle means 14 are mounted on the upper lateral surfaces of the base 10, and a hook 13 is mounted on a top surface of the base 10. Two sliding grooves 112 are formed on the upper portions of the housings 11, 12, and two elastic means 15 are respectively mounted on the bottom surfaces of the sliding grooves 112. The buckle means 14 are leant against the elastic means 15 and movably mounted in the sliding grooves 112, respectively. A protrudent part 141 is mounted on the upper exterior portion of each buckle means 14. Besides, an outwardly bended hook part 142 is formed below each buckle means 14. A pillar 143 is formed on the bottom surface of each buckle means 14, and a pillar 113 is formed on the bottom surface of each sliding groove 112 so as to confine the elastic means 15 to the position between the pillar 143 and the pillar 113. Two oppositely extending bended parts 114, 124 are mounted on the exterior surfaces of the housings 11, 12. Besides, a plurality of holes 115, 125 are correspondingly formed at intervals on the joint portions of the housings 11, 12 to pivotally hold a plurality of bended hanging strips 16 through pivots 161 that respectively mount on the terminals of the bended hanging strips 16. Moreover, two pivot holes 116 and two pivot holes 122 are correspondingly formed on both sides of the bottoms of the housings 11, 12, respectively, and two mounting grooves 111 are correspondingly formed over the sliding grooves 112 of the housings 11, 12, respectively, to pivotally hold a protrudent part 131 that mounts on the bottom of the hook 13 for changing the orientation of the base 10 by rotation. Besides, two through holes 117, 123 are correspondingly formed near the bottoms of the housings 11, 12, respectively, for holding another clothes hanger. Two ladder parts 119, 126 are respectively formed on both sides near the bottoms of the housings 11, 12. A plurality of protrudent parts 118 are mounted on the inside of the housing 11 in positions corresponding to a plurality of holes 121 that form on the sidewall of the housing 12 to steady the assembly.

The hanging fins 20 are movably mounted on the lower lateral surfaces of the base 10. A plurality of through holes 22 are formed at intervals on the hanging fins 20, and the hanging fins 20 are detachably held by the buckle means 14 that mount on the upper lateral surfaces of the base 10, wherein a first hook 23 and a second hook 24 are extended from one end of each hanging fin 20. The first hooks 23 are designed for hooking the hook parts 142 of the buckle means 14 to be mounted between the hook parts 142 and the extending bended parts 114, 124. Two transverse rods 21 are respectively mounted on both sides of the bottoms of the hanging fins 20 in the positions corresponding to the pivot holes 116, 122. Besides, the hanging fins 20 are movably embedded in the space formed by the coupled ladder parts 119, 126 that form on both sides near the bottoms of the housings 11, 12.

On the basis of the above-mentioned structure, the clothes hanger with the improved structure is constituted. Referring to FIG. 1 through FIG. 5, the features of the present invention consist in the movable connection between the hanging fins 20 and the lower lateral surfaces of the base 10, the through holes 22 formed at intervals on the hanging fins 20, and the buckle means 14 movably locked on the upper lateral surfaces of the base 10. Accordingly, the first hooks 23 are detached from the hook parts 142 by pushing down the protrudent parts 141 mounted on the upper exteriors of the buckle means 14 to outwardly unfold the hanging fins 20 for holding other clothes hangers on which clothes are hung. When the hanging fins 20 are folded up, the clothes, which are hung horizontally at intervals, are also stacked up to further save the required space for hanging the clothes.

The pivots 161 of the bended hanging strips 16 are movably inserted in the holes 115, 125 that correspondingly formed at intervals on the joint portions of the housings 11, 12 for holding various neckties, silk scarves, etc. Besides, when the hanging fins 20 are held by the buckle means 14 of the base 10, the second hooks 24 mounted on one end of the hanging fins 20 can be applied to hold the heavy objects, for example, handbags, bags, etc., wherein the heavy objects are hung on the top portions of the first hooks 23 and prevented from falling down by means of the inwardly bended second hooks 24 Accordingly, it is simple and quick to put the clothes hanger of the present invention to use. Besides, the present invention provides superior hanging effect and significantly decreases the occupied space so the practicability and convenience of the present invention are increased.

On the basis of the aforementioned description, it is apparent that the present invention can achieve the expected purposes. The present invention fills all requirements for a patent and is submitted for a patent.

While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been set forth for the purpose of disclosure, modifications of the disclosed embodiment of the invention as well as other embodiments thereof may occur to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to cover all embodiments, which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention.
