Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

a) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a repairing tool for auto body cavities, and more particularly to a repairing tool that can be used to completely repair auto body cavities by a DIY method.

b) Description of the Prior Art

Cavities will be created on an ordinary auto body when the auto body is hit by small rocks or foreign objects. An owner of the car will have to rely on an auto repair shop for repairing the cavities, and cannot repair by a DIY method. However, most of the repairing processes taken by the auto repair shop is to hammer an auto body cavity to restore to a smooth surface first, and then to perform a baking finish on the surface of car body, which is time consuming and very troublesome.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a repairing tool that can be used to repair auto body cavities by a DIY method.

To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the present invention.

FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of compartments of the present invention.

FIG. 3 shows a schematic view of a part of structure at another end of a sleeve of the present invention.

FIG. 4 shows a schematic view of a horizontal motion of the present invention.

FIG. 5 shows a schematic view of another structure of a pull rod of the present invention.

FIG. 6 shows a schematic view of yet another structure of a pull rod of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the present invention 10 comprises a sleeve 1, a pull rod 2, and a handle 3, wherein a stop ring 11 is located at one end of the hollow sleeve 1, two concave holes 12, 13 are located at inner edges of an opening at the other end of the sleeve 1, and transversal latching slots 121, 131 are located at inner sides of the concave holes 12, 13, respectively. An adhesive area 21 is located at one end of the pull rod 2, and a collar 22 is located at the other end. The pull rod 2 can enter the sleeve 1 whose stop ring 11 can stop the collar 22 of the pull rod 2 to prevent the pull rod 2 from separating with the sleeve 1. A handle bar 31 is located at one end of the handle 3, and a circular disc 32 is located at the other end. Latching pieces 321 are located at two ends of the circular disc 32, respectively. The circular disc 32 of the handle 3 can enter an opening at one end of the sleeve 1 with two latching pieces 321 latched into the concave holes 12, 13 of the sleeve 1, respectively. Upon rotating the handle 3, the latching pieces 321 of the handle 3 can be rotated into the latching slots 121, 131 of the sleeve 1, in order to prevent the handle 3 from separating with the sleeve 1.

As shown in FIG. 4, high polymer glue A is first pasted on the adhesive area 21 of the pull rod 2, and the pull rod 2 is instantly combined with an auto body cavity B. Following completely combining the pull rod 2 with the auto body cavity B, a user can hold the handle bar 31 of the handle 3 and slowly pull it back until completely pulling the cavity B to a smooth surface. Next, a polymer softener is used to remove residual of glue A, so as to separate the pull rod 2 with the cavity B, thereby repairing the auto body cavity B to a smooth surface.

As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, a cavity B on an auto body can have different shape and size, and hence a user can choose a pull rod 2 having an adhesive area 21′, 21″ of different shape and size at one end, to perform repairing on the auto body cavity.

Accordingly, by a DIY method, a user can use the present invention to repair the auto body cavity to a smooth surface by oneself, without relying on an auto repair shop, and wasting work, time, and money.

It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
