DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1 showing an elevational view of a preferred embodiment according to the invention along with other figures, it is observed that a buttock shaping and training apparatus according to the invention comprises a seat 1 and two pedals 2. The seat 1 is consisted of an upper cover 10 and a lower cover 10 as shown in FIG. 2. The upper cover 10 has an one upper end thereof devised with symmetrical through holes 11 for pivotally disposing the pedals 2 therein, and the other end thereof provided with arched grooves 12, with a center of each arched groove 12 respectively aligned with each through hole 11. The seat 1 has an upper edge thereof installed with a handle 13 for portability, and also has a hexagonal through hole 14 at an appropriate position of the upper cover 14 as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, wherein the hexagonal through hole 14 is for accommodating a hexagonal column 18. The upper cover 10 further has a lower surface thereof provided with two projecting stopping members 141 near the hexagonal through hole 14. The pedals 2 are pivotally mounted to the seat 1 as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, and are distributed with a plurality of protruding pillars 21. The protruding pillars 21 are devised correspondingly to reflexology using acupuncture points at feet, and are for producing massaging effects for human feet tissues to promote metabolism as well as providing anti-slippery functions. Each pedal 22 has one end of a lower section thereof devised with a pivotal axis 22 and the other end thereof devised with a roller 23. Each roller 23 is fixed along with an elastic member 232 to the lower section of each pedal 2 using a frame 231 as shown in FIG. 6.

To put the aforesaid members into assembly, the pivotal axes 22 of the pedals 2 are respectively mounted to the corresponding through holes 11 at the upper cover 10 of the seat 1. At this point, the rollers 23 at the pedals 2 provided with the elastic members 232 are exactly located within the arched grooves 12 of the upper cover 10. A screw is used to fasten a receiving section 24 to each pivotal axis 21 of each pedal 2 through a lower section of the upper cover 10, such that, using the pivotal axes 22 as centers, the pedals 2 are allowed with pre-defined left and right movements within the arched grooves 12 of the upper 10, followed by respectively fixing two ends of an elastic body 17 to the receiving sections 24 lower sections of the pedals 2 as shown in FIG. 4. Referring to FIG. 2, a screw penetrating through a triangular bolt 16 and a spring 16 is fastened to the hexagonal column 18 located in the hexagonal through hole 14. The hexagonal 18 has a blocking member 181 and a connecting member 182 extended from sides thereof. The connecting member 182 has the other end thereof winded to the aforesaid elastic body 17 as shown in FIG. 5 to adjust a length of the connecting member 182 for further pulling the elastic body 17, thereby altering tightness between the two pedals 2 and achieving multi-stage adjustable tightness effects.

To put the invention to application, both feet are placed onto corresponding pedals 2 on the seat 1, with heels located at the rollers 23 of the pedals 2. Using pressing motions of legs, the pedals 2 are driven by heels along pre-defined tracks for left and right movements at the arched grooves 12 at the seat 1 relative to the pivotal axes 22 as centers of movements. Front ends of the pedals 2 are pulled by the elastic body 17, and thus the two pedals 2 are respectively orientated at outermost edges of the arched grooves 12 when the not in use. Therefore, the tighter the elastic body 17 is being pulled, the more force a user needs to apply to draw the pedals 2 under the feet closer to each other. Such exercise favors decomposition of unwanted fats and promotes metabolism of parts being worked out, thereby uplifting silhouettes of buttocks and enhancing thighs to perfect curves of a lower body.

The invention is characterized as having multi-stage tightness adjustment functions. To adjust tightness, the triangular bolt 16 at the seat 1 is pressed downwards to release and turn the hexagonal column 18 in the hexagonal through hole 14. Owing to turning of the hexagonal pillar 18, the connecting member 182 extended from the hexagonal column 18 is simultaneously tightened or released relative to the elastic body 17 at the two receiving sections 24. When having been adjusted and aligned, the triangular bolt 16 is pushed to an original position thereof using a spring 15 between the triangular bolt 16 and the seat 1, thereby restoring the hexagonal column 18 fastened at the triangular bolt 16 into the hexagonal through hole 14 at the same time, and accomplishing adjustment functions for that the hexagonal column 18 is incapable of turning from being retained by the hexagonal through hole 14. In addition, to prevent a user from excessively winding the connecting member 182, the hexagonal column 18 has an edge thereof extended with a blocking member 181, which allows the hexagonal column 18 to turn only between the two blocking members 141 at the lower surface of the upper cover 10.

When the elastic body 17 pulled tight, the two receiving sections 24 at two ends thereof are moved downward, such that the pedals 2 are also moved outwards with greater forces along with the receiving sections 24; vice versa, when the elastic body 17 is released to appear in a lax state, the receiving sections 24 at the two ends thereof are also more easily moved, thereby accomplishing multi-stage tightness adjustment functions.

Apart from providing the novel multi-stage adjustable function, the invention further focuses on prevention of injuries from exercise. When a user performs pressing motions of legs, ankles may be twisted by restoring forces of the elastic body 17 between the two pedals 2 from inappropriate use. Therefore, to prevent injuries from exercise, elastic members 232 are installed between the pedals 2 and the rollers 23 at the lower sections of the pedals 2, so as to provide an elastic supporting force for alleviating pulling forces of the elastic body 17.

Furthermore, the seat 1 can be installed with a counter 3 that keeps a user informed about amount and frequency of exercise. The counter 3 can be an optical sensing or a press sensing device, and is regarded as a prior art that shall not be unnecessarily described.

Apparent from the aforesaid descriptions, the buttock shaping and training apparatus has simple structures and accomplishes adjustment function for applications as desired.

It is of course to be understood that the embodiment described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
