Tilty work station

The Tilty Work Station is a platform made of steel, with Aluminum ramps, telescope from structure, extracted, which tilt's structure to 14 Degrees. Vehicles drive up ramps, with the Vehicles weight, transfers to make the structure horizontal. Ramps and stairs can be retracted into the main frame after Vehicle is aloft. Platforms on left and right sides, and in front, are aluminum, with hand rails, and stair accessibility. Ramps and main pivot point use UHMW polytetrafluoroethylene, for smooth and wear free operation. The Tilty Work Station lifts Vehicles to a repair height, with Multi-Functional operational options for Vehicle repairs.

Description

The Tilty Work Station is a mechanism to lift automobiles to a repair height. Ramps pull out of main frame structure ( manual power), each ramp telescopes 12 feet, weight of ramps tilt structure to 14 degrees. Driving vehicle up ramps transfers weight of vehicle to tilt structure horizontal.

The Tilty Work Station, is equipped with platforms on three sides of structure, one in front, for under the hood repairs, with platforms on each side of vehicle, with stair access on both sides at the rear of structure. Ramps and main pivot point, slide on UHMW, a Teflon type material.

The Tilty Work Station was designed to give auto repair facilities a Safe, Multi-Task, Auto Repair Lift, to accommodate, today's high volume of repairs. Design Features:

    • A. Platform Access, Under Hood, Wheels, & Under Vehicle.
    • B. No parts to wear out and replace.
    • C. Accommodates All Size Vehicles (7,000 Lbs. Gross Weight)

AMENDED—SUMMARY OF INVENTION

The Tilty Work Station is a structure to raise automobiles for repairs. Platforms in front and on each side of structure gives access to vehicles, repair of wheels, tires, brakes, with access under hood for engine repairs. Structure tilts to 14 degrees when ramps are extended for vehicle drive on. When vehicle drives up ramps, weight transfer of vehicle levels structure horizontal. Platforms on each side have stair access. Moving parts, ramps, and main frame pivot point, incorporate UHMw a plastic Teflon material for a no wear ability. The unique design of the Tilty Work Station is the platforms, stair access, and the tilting for easy access for vehicle loading.

AMENDED—DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The structure of the Tilty Work Station is constructed of steel with two aluminum ramps that telescope out 12 feet. Ramps pulled out of main frame will tilt structure to 14 degrees, ramps and stairs can be retracted into main frame for storage. Ramps and main frame pivot point utilize UHMW Teflon for a smooth movement with a no wear ability. Platforms, handrails, and stairs are constructed of aluminum with floors of diamond plate.

The Tilty Work Station is a multi-functional repair equipment. Built for auto repair facilities to enhance production of repair functions.

Claims

1. The apparatus (Tilty Work Station) raises automobiles to repair height. Structure tilts to 14 degrees, when ramps are extended, for vehicles to drive up onto structure. Vehicles drive up ramps to top where vehicles weight transfer, replaces structure to horizontal position. Attached to front, and both sides of apparatus, are platforms with railings, for repair personal to accomplish repairs, under hood of vehicle or on tires, as well as repairs under the vehicle. Stairs are attached to rear of platforms, (both sides) for access onto platforms. Structure houses ramps, inside main frame, and stairs can be retracted to under side platforms. Main design features include, tilting ability, and the use of UHMW (Polyethylene), at Pivot points on main structure, and on under side of ramps for smooth extraction. Main structure is constructed of steel, platforms, railings, stairs are constructed of aluminum.
