Abstract

The Shoe Glove Boot is an apparatus that is made of a durable fabric, manmade or natural fibers. It has an upper and a sole with an opening at the heel enabling a shoe heel to protrude through not to change the height of the shoe. The Shoe Glove Boot gives the consumer the advantage of wearing the shoes of their choice and the ability to add protection of the same shoe during inclement weather or non-inclement weather with a fashionable look. The Shoe Glove Boot can be made with one bootleg or it can be made with attachments giving the consumer the boot length of their desire from ankle, to knee and finally, a thigh boot. The Shoe Glove Boot is not only for protection in cold or wet weather but can be worn during warmer weather by simply changing to a lighter fabric.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

There has not been many variations of waterproof overshoes that would make its usage more fashionable thus more marketable. Currently galoshes are strictly for inclement weather. The simplicity and stability of galoshes serve well for their intended purpose but with little fashionable or artistic design.

The Shoe Glove Boot was designed to give the consumer more than just protection during inclement weather. It improves the current art by the heel of the shoes being exposed it can be worn with shoes of various heel heights. Previously galoshes were only worn with shoes that have low heels. They were not very fashionable so people wore them and once arrived at their destination they quickly removed them. The Shoe Glove Boot allows shoes of various designs. It also offers the ability to change to the length of the bootleg by simple attachments. The Shoe Glove Boot can be worn during warmer weather by changing the fabric.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The Shoe Glove Boot was designed to give added protection during inclement weather similar to that of the previous waterproof over shoe. The problems with the previous art was, it was not very attractive, not fitted to the leg and did not offer the consumer the ability to change to length of the bootleg. The Shoe Glove Boot offers this and more by it not being for inclement weather only.

The Shoe Glove Boot is fitted to the shoe and it introduces something new to the art by attachable and detachable bootlegs. Attachable bootlegs give the consumer the ability to design their own look. The Shoe Glove Boot can be made with one bootleg length or with attachable bootlegs thus changing the length of the bootleg. The Bootleg attachments can be made for many kinds of shoes the idea is from shoes to boots giving the consumer the ability to design there own fashion look.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The Shoe Glove Boot has and upper and a sole. The sole has an opening at heel to allow the shoe heel to protrude through. The sole of the Shoe Glove Boot is thin not to change the dynamics of the height of the shoe. The closure of the Shoe Glove Boot is the same as with any boot.

The Shoe Glove Boot also introduces attachable, detachable and interchangeable bootlegs. Attachable bootlegs allow you change the height of the bootleg. When purchased the same style of Shoe Glove Boot in a different color or different design you can thus change the look of the Shoe Glove Boot. The attachment range gives the consumer every length of bootleg. When the fabrics are changed to a lighter fabric it can enhance shoes during any season not just for protection during inclement weather. Example a lace expandable fabric Shoe Glove Boot over a simple summer shoe or mule (toe enclosed heel out shoe style of shoe) would give an artistic look during the warmer weather.

The Shoe Glove Boot sizes range as with any current shoe size. It can be made for a particular shoe giving you the shoe to the boot or generic style of Shoe Glove Boot. Styles meaning that the make of the Shoe Glove Boot would vary with the make of the shoe.

Claims

1) Footwear attachment that can be place over any simple shoe with the heel of the shoe exposed allowing the heel to come through.

2) The Shoe Glove Boot has an upper covering for the shoe extending to the leg. The bottom has a thin layer sole with an opening at the heel of the shoe fitted to secure the placement.

3) The Shoe Glove Boot offers one (1) length bootleg, and or attachable and detachable bootlegs enabling the wearer to change the length of the bootleg. Attachable Bootlegs can be made for any shoe design and attached with simple attachments to hold the Bootleg attachment in place changing the shoe to a boot.
