Anti-slip servicing tray

A servicing tray includes an inside with a peripheral wall extending from the inside and a first anti-slip layer is connected to an underside of the servicing tray so that the servicing tray does not slip when the service person support on the bottom of the servicing tray. A second anti-slip layer is attached to a top of the inside of the servicing tray so that dishes do not slip on the servicing tray.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a servicing tray with an anti-slip layer connected to an underside thereof so that the servicing tray does not slip from the service persons' hands or on the table.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional serving tray used for servicing food generally includes a recessed inside and a peripheral wall, food is put on the inside of the servicing tray and the service person support on the bottom of the servicing tray to serve food to the tables. In order to well position the food or dishes, an anti-slip layer is attached on the inside of the servicing tray to prevent the dishes from slipping and even falling. However, the bottom of the servicing tray might be contaminated by grease or oil so that the bottom can be slippery. The slippery bottom can cause falling of the servicing tray. Another concern is that when the table is oily, the servicing tray might move on the table.

The present invention intends to provide a servicing tray that includes an anti-slip layer attached to the bottom so as to improve the shortcomings of the conventional servicing trays.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a an anti-slip servicing tray which comprises an inside with a peripheral wall extending from the inside and a first anti-slip layer is connected to an underside of the servicing tray so that the servicing tray can be well supported on the bottom by the service persons.

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a servicing tray that does not slip on the greasy table and the dishes do not slip in the servicing tray.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show the servicing tray of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a cross sectional view to show the servicing tray of the present invention;

FIG. 3 is an enlarged cross sectional view of the two anti-slip layers on the inside and the bottom of the servicing tray.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the servicing tray 10 of the present invention comprises an inside with a peripheral wall extending from the inside. A first anti-slip layer 12 is connected to an underside of the servicing tray 10. A second anti-slip layer 11 is attached to a top of the inside of the servicing tray 10.

The first anti-slip layer 12 prevents the servicing tray 10 from slipping from the service persons' hands. This is an important if the dishes are hot food or soup which might hurt the customers if the servicing tray 10 falls from the service persons' hands. Besides, the first anti-slip layer 12 prevents the whole servicing tray 10 to slip on the table if grease is attached on the top surface of the table.

The second anti-slip layer 11 on the top of the inside of the servicing tray 10 prevents dishes from slipping on the servicing tray 10 so as to ensure the food or the dishes are well positioned when served to the table.

While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. An anti-slip servicing tray comprising:

an inside with a peripheral wall extending from the inside, and
a first anti-slip layer connected to an underside of the servicing tray.

2. The servicing tray as claimed in claim 1, wherein a second anti-slip layer is attached to a top of the inside of the servicing tray.
