Self cleansing basin, sink, toilet, and bidet
This invention relates to basins, sinks, toilets, and bidets incorporating a spiral shape. The shape of the sanitary unit incorporates a spiral contour which allows for better removal of water and waste materials from the unit. As the water enters the unit, it is then assisted in its natural action by the spiral design.
The invention is a basin, sink, toilet, and bidet with any raised or sunken spiralling contours.
This design feature allows for speedy removal of waste material and water from the sanitary units.
After using a sanitary unit, waste material is often left on the surface of the unit.
The spiral shaped contours of the self cleansing unit help water move more quickly and so remove waste material and water more effectively.
The normal action of water when draining is to rotate clockwise in the northern hemisphere, or counter clockwise in the southern hemisphere. The spiralling contours of the unit allow the water to spiral more quickly, gain speed, and exit the basin with more force. This results in less waste being left in the unit.
An example of the invention can now be viewed in the attached drawing:
Note: units for use in the southern hemisphere are exactly the same but have counter-clockwise spiral contours.
The spiral shape is manufactured into the unit. The spiral shape is made by having sunken or raised sections on the interior surface of the basin, sink, toilet, or bidet These contours form a spiral towards the drain of the unit.
Claims
1. Any contours forming any type of spiralling on the interior surface of the basin, sink, toilet, or bidet.
2. Any contours forming any curved line proceeding downwards on the surface of the interior of a basin, sink, toilet, or bidet.
3. Any contours forming any curved line proceeding upwards on the surface of the interior of a basin, sink, toilet, or bidet.
4. Any unit with curves or spirals as in claims 1, 2, or 3 which have the effect of increasing the velocity of the draining water.
5. Any unit with curves or spirals as in claims 1, 2, or 3 which have the effect of increasing the velocity of the draining water for the purpose of removing waste from the unit.
6. Any unit with curves or spirals as in claims 1, 2, or 3 which have the effect of increasing the velocity of the draining water for the purpose of removing the water more quickly.
7. Any unit with curves or spirals as in claims 1, 2, or 3 which have the effect of increasing the velocity of the draining water for the purpose of scouring the surface of the interior of the unit.
