Description

This invention uses the transmission of our co-pending application Ser. No. 60/695,809, Filed 2005 Jul. 01.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention concerns footwear, namely the shoes containing electro conductive elements, taking place in a contact of a user's foot and a ground under the user's shoes.

It is well known, that the electrostatic electricity inevitably accumulates on a human's body. This is adversely reflected on a person's health and it's environmental problem demands immediate and radical decision.

It is obvious, that the use of a footwear made of rubber and other synthetic materials creates a very serious problem for human health, especially when such materials are used in shoe insoles and soles. However, these materials have received the greatest utilization in manufacturing sports footwear and inexpensive daily footwear, which are used by a prevailing part of the population.

Antistatic footwear plays a very important role in the electronic industry, where the presence of electrostatic electricity on a worker's body leads to inevitable defects in products created by this worker. Exactly this problem was a push for in-depth studies in this area for development of special antistatic footwear.

Therefore, the creation of inexpensive and popular antistatic footwear is one of the basic directions of this problem's solution.

One of the most effective and technically simple methods to remove static electricity from a person's body is a method that establishes electric contact between a person's foot and a ground, so-called grounding.

There are known various methods and variations of the footwear design intended to remove a static electricity from a person's body. Such methods and devices are described, for example, in patents of the U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,233,769; 5,319,867; 5,448,840; 5,576,924; 6,707,659B2.

Devices, according to the submitted patents, are directed to maintain the electric contact between a person's foot and a ground (grounding). In most cases these devices are quite complex and bulky, which raises the price and reduces the consumer's appeal.

The purpose of the present invention is a creation of an effective, simple and inexpensive device, which can be utilized in any shoes with traditionally used materials, and, which provides a removal of a static electricity from a person's body by creating an electric contact (grounding) between a person's foot and a ground.

This purpose is achieved by the built-in both in a sole and in an insole the electro conductive elements, executed as metal cores, for example rivets, that provide a dense contact between a person's foot and a ground.

SUMMARY

The shoes with electrostatic grounding includes electro conductive element, which is build in an insole and a sole of said shoes.

The electro conductive element made as one or several rivets, placed in a toecap and a heel areas of the insole and the sole, and which provides a reliable contact between the user's body and a ground under his shoes.

A metal alloy, which possesses high electro conductivity and anticorrosive stability, is used in a material for electro conductive element, which provides effective removal of electrostatic charge from the user's body and meets sanitary-and-hygienic requirements of the shoes.

The offered invention stands out with it's exclusive simplicity in design of electro conductive element, and in addition, allows the use of the inexpensive and widely widespread materials (for example, alloys on a basis Cu or Al) for its manufacturing.

According to the offered invention the manufacturing of shoes with electrostatic grounding allows for the use of traditional shoes with a build-in electro conductive element.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

FIG. 1—Shoe with electrostatic grounding (main view)

FIG. 2—Apertures for rivets (top view)

FIG. 3—Sole and an insole with the build-in rivet

FIG. 4—Electro conductive element as a carving connection

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Full representation of the offered invention is provided in the description referring to the submitted drawings.

FIG. 1 presents a main view of a usual daily shoe (10) containing a top (12), an insole (14) and a sole (16). All parts of the submitted shoe can be made of traditionally used materials. Connection of the top (12) with the sole (16) is carried out with known technology by pasting the sole (16) with the top (12) on their contours and with their subsequent insertion. The insole (14) is placed on the surface of the sole (16), which is taking place inside of the shoe (10).

FIG. 2 presents the apertures (18a) for electro conductive elements (18), witch are build-in the insole (14) and the sole (16). The element (18) can be made of an alloy on the basis of aluminum or copper, which possess high electro conductive properties and high anticorrosive stability.

A usual rivet (18) can be used as an example of the simplest design of an electro conductive element.

Installation of rivets (18) in the shoe (10) can be executed, for example, in the following sequence. In the insole (14) and the sole (16) the apertures (18a) are made with a diameter equal to a diameter of a rivet (18).

In the aperture (18a) establish a rivet (18) and press it so that its bottom and its top surfaces coincide with corresponding surfaces of the insole (14) and the sole (16).

On FIG. 3 shown one of the possible designs the electro conductive element made as the rivet (18), built-in the sole (16) and the insole (14).

Another possible design the electro conductive element shown on FIG. 4. According this version, the electro conductive element made as a carving connection of two members (20,22), one of which made as a screw (20) with a flat head, and another—as a bushing (22) with internal carving.

Work of the offered invention consists of the following. The user's foot, placed in the shoe, gets dense electric contact to a ground through the electro conductive element (18), which provides removal of eletric charges from the user's body to the ground under the user's shoe.

Such technical solution provides with its simple design and high level of functionality, which at the same time allows the utilization of technology and materials at manufacturing traditional shoes.
