Injection blow molded bottle with alternate capstand
An injection blow molded bottle with alternate capstand about the exterior walling thereof for receipt of the cap of the bottle in a manner equivalent to the manner in which the cap is receivable by the primary capstand atop the bottle with the alternate capstand having a diameter, shape and contour equivalent to the diameter, shape and contour of the primary capstand and a hollowed out cavernous center area to accommodate snap-on receipt of a non-threaded cap and threading or ridging about the outer walling thereof to accommodate receipt of a non-snap-on bottle cap.
There are no prior or parent applications in respect of the instant invention.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the Invention
The instant invention relates to those devices admitting of means of holding the caps of empty bottles.

A SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION1. A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The instant invention is an injection blow molded bottle featuring an alternate capstand located upon the exterior walling thereof The alternate capstand has a diameter, shape and contour equivalent to the diameter, shape and contour of the primary capstand affixed to which, atop of the bottle, is the bottlecap serving to seal, from an exterior environment, the contents of a full or partially full bottle. The alternate capstand in a first embodiment is smooth walled to accommodate the smooth walling of i.e., a snap-on bottle cap. A second embodiment has threading about the outer walling of the alternate capstand thereof to accommodate the threading grooves of the inner walling of a bottle cap amenable to receipt by the same, and such threading is equivalent in respect of the threading about the primary capstand as well. The alternate capstand abutting from the exterior walling of the bottle also features a hollowed out cavernous area within it so as to accommodate the snap-on placement upon it of a snap-on cap without threading grooves about the inner walling of such a cap.
2. OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
Bottles made of plastic when virtually empty are mostly always, in respect of waste disposal, subjected to crushing and compacting prior to perhaps any viable recycling of the same. Such bottles with caps as may have been snapped or screwed back onto the primary capstands thereof can be crushed only with a great deal of force, relatively stated, leading unavoidably to ultimately a blowing off of such caps by virtue of a concomitantly compressive expulsion of air trapped within such a capped bottle. This leads to an environmentally undesirable blowing about as well of the residual contents then still, more often than not, likewise trapped within the virtually empty bottle. If such contents are of the order of hazardous chemicals such as, for example, motor oil, the results post-blowout can have clearly untoward environmental repercussions. The instant invention serves to wholly resolve such a thorny waste disposal problem.
The cap of the bottle once empty is simply affixed to the alternate capstand portion of the bottle about the exterior walling thereof leaving the primary capstand atop the bottle capless and the interior of the bottle concomitantly open to the exterior. Crushing and compression of a virtually empty bottle of the order of the instant invention requires much less force to flatten it as would be required as respects the crushing and compression flattening of conventionally capped bottles as noted above. There is, in respect of resort to utilization of the instant invention, accordingly, then no reason to fear the environmental pollution otherwise resulting from such invariably forced expulsion of any such residual bottle contents concomitant with the forced expulsion of trapped air, since, there is, with respect to the instant invention no possibility that there would ever be any such trapped internal air within it.
In view of the foregoing, respectfully submitted, the instant invention is indeed new, useful and unquestionably unique.

However, whereas such bottles remain air-filled in the environment, if the bottle caps 1 thereof are placed back onto the primary capstands C or 10 respectively thereof, a great deal of pressure in respect of such crushing is required as opposed to the relatively, notably reduced amount of pressure as would be required in respect of the same were the bottle caps 1 not placed back onto primary capstands C or 10 respectively thereof prior to such crushing. It is however ecologically undesireable to have loose bottle caps 1 lying about here, there or anywhere in advance of crushing. Moreover, it would be extremely inefficient time-wise for a crusher-operator to ever seek to undertake to uncap what might well be hundreds or indeed even thousands of such bottles awaiting such crushing prior to undertaking to effectuate same. Likewise, in the face of seeking to effect a crushing of air-filled capped would-be empty bottles containing invariably at least some residual contents, it ought properly to be expected that, in light of the relatively monumental amount of pressure required to adequately crush such bottles, not an insubstantial amount of such residual contents could be found notably sprayed and spewn about the environment outside of such bottles in the face of such crushing. Such an outcome could well bode veritably disasterous over time in the event such contents were of the order of a form of toxic chemical such as motor oil, a pesticide or the like. In conclusion, respectfully submitted, in view of the foregoing recitations, the instant invention is indeed not only new and unique but unquestionably useful.
Claims
1. An injection blow molded bottle with alternate capstand, comprising:
- a. an injection blow molded bottle;
- b. said injection blow molded bottle being made of a compressible material;
- c. said injection blow molded bottle being featured by a presence of a concomitantly injection blow molded alternate capstand jutting from exterior walling of said blow molded bottle;
- d. said alternate capstand having a shape and contour identical to a diameter, shape and contour of a primary capstand atop said injection blow molded bottle;
- e. said alternate capstand being interiorly hollow above said exterior walling of said injection blow molded bottle, and;
- f said alternate capstand being amenable to ready affixation thereto of a bottle cap otherwise affixable to said primary capstand of said injection blow molded bottle.
2. The injection blow molded bottle with alternate capstand of claim 1, whereby said alternate capstand has threading about outer walling thereof.
3. The injection blow molded bottle with alternate capstand of claim 1, whereby said alternate capstand has ridging about outer walling thereof.
4. A blow molded bottle with alternate capstand, comprising:
- a. an injection blow molded bottle;
- b. said injection blow molded bottle being made of a compressible material;
- c. said injection blow molded bottle being featured by a presence of a concomitantly injection blow molded alternate capstand jutting from exterior walling of said injection blow molded bottle;
- d. said alternate capstand having a shape and contour identical to a diameter, shape and contour of a primary capstand atop said injection blow molded bottle;
- e. said alternate capstand having threading about outer walling thereof, and;
- f. said alternate capstand being amenable to ready affixation thereto of a bottle cap otherwise affixable to said primary capstand of said injection blow molded bottle.
5. An injection blow molded bottle with alternate capstand, comprising:
- a. an injection blow molded bottle;
- b. said injection blow molded bottle being made of a compressible material;
- c. said injection blow molded bottle being featured by a presence of a concomitantly injection blow molded alternate capstand jutting from exterior walling of said injection blow molded bottle;
- d. said alternate capstand having a shape and contour identical to a diameter, shape and contour of a primary capstand atop said injection blow molded bottle;
- e. said alternate capstand having ridging about outer walling thereof, and;
- f. said alternate capstand being amenable to ready affixation thereto of a bottle cap otherwise affixable to said primary capstand of said injection blow molded bottle.
