-

One person will rotate the ball over the target while the batter stands where comfortable at the plate. The ball rotation can easily be varied by the rotator to hit high or low, inside or outside pitches at will.

Description

Baseball pitching simulation tool. Made of spring hardened stainless steel, nylon bearings, shock absorbing rubber cord, and polyurethane ball.

Claims

1. A device to create perceivable improvements in hitting and synchronization of optical and movement, and;

Be constructed of unique materials and parts including: a high temperature bearing made of nylon with MDS (molybdenum disulfide) lubricant that has the unique property to lubricate itself in the presence of friction and;
Possessing the unique shape to absorb the recoil action of the ball when it is hit by a batter (a person who uses a baseball bat) using a wooden or metal baseball bat, including; 1. A wide, 3′ (36″) or more diameter (1.5′ or 18″ radius) curve in the horizontal position to act as a compression spring so the user of the device does not feel the impact of a batter hit the ball at the end of the device, and; 2. Another, smaller curve that is 1′ (12″) in diameter in a vertical position unique shape of the frame to allow the device to clear the head of the user while rotating the device, and;
Possessing a cord that attaches to the rod and the ball that is an order of magnitude stronger than a batter could hit, preferably made from a multi-stranded stainless steel wire rope and coated in a UV and water resistant material such as nylon, having a breaking strength greater than 1500 pounds and,
Possessing a unique attachment to the ball consisting of more shock impediment materials, like rubber, and;
The ball attached to the end of the device will not be a baseball, but having the consistency of a softer and less dense material, preferably of plastic or rubber origin, and;
Considering the use pertaining to the person using the device and the batter, the user of the device holds the device's handle with one hand near the top of the handle and the other hand holding the device near the bottom of the device's handle, the user then proceeds to create a vertical circular motion that will cause the rod with the ball attached to gain in centrifugal speed, the cord with ball attached will become level with the horizontal curve, and;
Once the device has obtained the required amount of centrifugal force, a batter will step within 3 feet of the end of the swinging device (ball), and attempt to swing the bat at the ball trying to make contact, and;
Once the batter has achieved in hitting the ball, the device will proceed to absorb the impact and come to a complete stop, and;
Once the device has stopped, the user of the device will begin again with the vertical circular motion.
