The invention relates to clip hanger.
Partitions are commonly used to divide space in offices. Workers usually hang their coats or briefcases on partitions utilizing hangers.
Conventional hangers, such as S-shaped hangers, adhesive hangers, and stationary hangers, are not capable of hanging on partitions of various thickness and shape. Thus, an improved hanger is desirable.
SUMMARYClip hangers are provided.
An exemplary embodiment of a clip hanger comprises a body and two clip components. The body comprises a hook structure. The clip components are rotatably connected with the body. When the body applies a force on the clip components, the clip components and the body clip an object at three points.
Another exemplary embodiment of a clip hanger comprises a body, a clip component, and an elastic component. The body comprises a hook structure. The elastic component is connected between the body and the clip component for applying a force on the clip component. A space is formed between the clip component and the body for clip an object.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGSClip hangers can be more fully understood by reading the subsequent detailed description and examples with references made to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
Clip hangers will be described in greater detail in the following.
A principle aim of the invention is to create clip hangers capable of hanging on partitions of various thickness and shape, by using the resilience of elastic components.
As shown in
The clip hanger 100 comprises a body 101, two clip components 102, and two elastic components 106. Each clip component 102 can rotate relative to the body 101.
The body 101 comprises an upper cover 103 and an under cover 104. The under cover 104 comprises a hook structure 105 and two first salients 107.
Each clip component 102 comprises a first end 108 and a second end 109. Each first end 108 comprises a second salient 110.
The elastic components 106 are torsion springs, and each elastic component 106 is connected between corresponding first and second salients 107 and 110 respectively.
Before hanging the clip hanger 100 on the partition 201, the user 200 rotates the clip components 102 in the arrow direction 300 to appropriately adjust a space 202 formed between the second ends 109 and the body 101 according to the thickness and shape of the partition 201. Meanwhile, the two elastic components 106, as shown in
The user 200 then hangs the clip hanger 100 on the partition 201 and releases the clip hanger 100. Meanwhile, the resilience generated by the two elastic components 106 is applied on the first ends 108, as shown in
Finally, as shown in
The clip hanger 400 comprises a body 401, a clip component 402, and a tensile elastic component 406.
The body 401 comprises a hook structure 405.
The elastic component 406 is a tensile spring, connected between the body 401 and the clip component 402 for applying a force on the clip component 402.
As shown in
Before hanging the clip hanger 400 on the partition 501, the user pulls the clip component 402 away from the body 401 to appropriately adjust a space 502 formed between the clip component 402 and the body 401 according to the thickness and shape of the partition 501. Meanwhile, the tensile elastic component 406 is stretched and changes shape.
As shown in
The clip hanger of the invention is capable of hanging on partitions of various thickness and shape and provides obvious advantages over conventional hangers such as S-shaped hangers, adhesive hangers, and stationary hangers.
While the invention has been described by way of example and in terms of several embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited thereto. To the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements (as would be apparent to those skilled in the art). Therefore, the scope of the appended claims should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar arrangements.
Claims
1. A clip hanger, comprising:
- a body, comprising a hook structure; and
- at least two clip components rotatably connected to the body;
- wherein when the body applies a force on the clip components, the clip components and the body hold an object at three points.
2. The clip hanger as claimed in claim 1, wherein when the body applies the force on the clip components, the clip components and the body forms a space therebetween for holding the object.
3. The clip hanger as claimed in claim 1 is substantially V-shaped when holding the object.
