Bubble gun with light

-

A kind of fluorescent bubble toy comprising: a traditional bubble producing device; a kind of soap solution with dye and fluorescer added; a lighting device which produces visible light and ultra-violet light that matches the said fluorescer is installed on the said toy and/or installed outside the said toy. The fluorescent bubble toy of this invention makes those soap bubbles produced by the prior art in the same filed which exist for more than 100 years to give different colours under lights of different intensities and different wavelengths, thus achieving a level of attractiveness which has never been attained before.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

Patent applications relating to bubble toy had been filed for decades. Until nowadays, only in USA, more than 100 applications had been granted. While all granted patents put their attentions on how to improve the device. For example, a nowadays bubble toy only needs the player to push a button, then, the soap solution automatically sent to the nozzle and automatically to be wiped into a film, and automatically blowing into a bubble. This procedure will be continue if the button is kept unreleased. No matter how advance the design is, it produces the same bubble as the device of decades ago. Since the bubble toy belongs to a toy which is enjoyed visually, people mainly to enjoy the bubble produced by the toy, now that the bubble produced today has the same appearance as the bubble produced decades ago, this is a good evidence for proving in last decades, the bubble toy had been improved only in device, no visual improvement has been made in the bubble.

Soap bubble is very thin, so under sun light with suitable incidence angle, by interference of the light, there shows pleasant iris. Thus rising a problem, even if in the day, if the incidence angle is not ideal, there will be no iris present. Then, in the night, since the lighting is very weak, even the bubble itself can not be seen, needless to say the iris for enjoying. Therefore, the optical enjoying behavior of prior art bubble toy needs to be improved.

1. Field of Invention

This invention relates to toy, particularly to a kind of bubble toy which can produce fluorescent effect. (A63H 33/28)

2. Description of Related Arts

SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

The object of this invention is to provide a kind of bubble toy which has good visual enjoying behavior no matter in the day or in the night.

For achieving above mentioned object, the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention including: A conventional bubble producing device. A kind of soap solution has suitable dye and fluorescer. A lighting device installed on this toy or installed outside this toy for illuminating the bubble with visual light and ultraviolet light.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a front view of the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention.

FIG. 2 is a side view of the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention.

FIG. 3 is a bottom view of the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention.

FIG. 4 is a top view of the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Refer to FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, it can be understood that the shape of the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention is similar to the landing cabin in Apollo project. In all drawings, 11 is a nozzle for soap bubble which similar to the nozzle of said cabin, according to any prior art method, this nozzle can blow out soap bubbles downwardly. (one thing must be explained is, in this specification, we use “soap solution”, “soap bubbles” etc, etc. since they are all prior arts, therefore they should be understood broadly, not only limited in a solution dissolved soap) 12 in each drawing are four supporting legs of said cabin, in our case, four LED bulbs 13 are installed in the end of 12, so the light beams from said four bulbs 13 can illuminating downwardly with selected UV light and visual color light for lighting up the bubbles blown out from the nozzle 11. 14 in each drawing is a body in ring shape. At the lower portion of the body 14 installed bubble-making device 15 of any prior arts. In the essentially perpendicular side of said body 15, is the battery chamber 16. In the other essentially perpendicular side of said body 15, is the electric switch 17. The upper portion of said body 15, is a horizontal side which can be used as a handle, for lifting up the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention. Under said handle, a trigger 18 for replacing the battery to act as the power source, to let the limited battery power used for lighting the soap bubbles.

The first embodiment of the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention is to add 0.01-1% fluorescer into prior art soap solution. Since four LEDs are all 405+/−10 nm violet in color, so the fluorescer added, for example 2-(sodium sulfonate phenyl) can be illuminated around said 405 nm peak. If this inventive toy is used under sufficient strong day light or lamp light, since the fluorescent light is very weak, so the four LED bulbs 13 can be switched OFF for saving the battery power. In doing so, the bubbles produced by the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention different to prior art is bubble colors caused by dye added. Because fluorescer also has its color in visual light. In this embodiment, the fluorescer plays role in both UV light and visual light. When there is no day light and lamp light, four LED bulbs 13 can be switched ON, in doing so, all visual light and UV light emitted from said LED bulbs 13 will illuminate the bubbles, thus increasing the visual enjoyment. This effect can not be achieved by prior arts.

The second embodiment of the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention is, for increasing the visual enjoyment of this inventive toy in complete dark environment, the dye and the fluorescer adding in the soap solution must match the wave length of the bulbs 13. For example, can use white, color and UV bulbs simultaneously. Since the UV LED bulb in the marketing only has a wave length of 370-375 nm, when the fluorescer added in the soap solution has an exciting wave length of 220-254 nm (for example, Manganous Silicate, Zinc Silicate), any UV lamp installed outside this toy can be used for illuminating the bubbles. For example, 4-60 W medical use UV lamp can be used.

The third embodiment of the fluorescent bubble toy of this invention is, fluorescers with different exciting wave lengths can be added into the soap solution. In doing so, when the bubbles fly over lightings with different exciting wave lengths, the bubbles will change their colors accordingly. In this case, the lighting devices can be installed on this toy, or installed outside this toy. This will give maximum visual enjoyment. This effect can not be done by any prior art and above mentioned two embodiments.

The fluorescers added in the soap solution of this invention, first recommended is the fluorescer used in cosmetics. Such as above mentioned 2-(sodium sulfonate phenyl).

Then those used in printing ink for against the false. While the granularity should be fine enough for match the few micron thick soap bubble. Of course, it is also possible to increase the thickness of the soap bubble for matching the bigger granularity of the fluorescers. Since these are all prior arts, we shall not discuss them here anymore. The reason is, all fluorescers used in cosmetics and in printing ink for against the false (particularly for bank-notes) must pass related safety testing. Fluorescers used by printing ink for against false, such as, 3-lanthanide β-diketone complexes, such as, Acetyl acetone, Benzonitrile acyl acetone, 3-benzonitrile acyls methane, Benzonitrile acyl 3-fluoroacetone, etc.

Furthermore, many kinds of organic and unorganic fluorescers used for fibers can also be used in this invention. Because these fluorescers can be used in fabrics for dressing, their safety needs not considered by this invention. Such as, Sm3+, Eu3+-Acrylic acid-8-hydroxyquinoline ternary complexes, Eu3+-Sulfolane acyl 3-fluoroacetone-acrylic acid ternary complexes, and lanthanide-1, 10-Phenanthroline-Hexyl formic acid ternary complexes, etc.

Organic fluorescers recommended to use linkage fluorescent macromolecules firstly, please refer the web page: http://www.tmmfa.org.twn11.htm

It must be stressed is, some fluorescer such as used in fluorescent tubes, is poisonous, it can not be used in the soap solution of this invention as additives.
