Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The idea for the Millennium Power Napping System came to me while I was deployed in Iraq, in support of “Operation Iraqi Freedom”. During my down time I was trying to get some sleep in a very uncomfortable position where I found it very difficult to rest. I placed both of my hands under my chin, but after a few minutes my elbow and hands began to hurt, and my head would slip from my hands as I tried to fall off to sleep. At that moment I began to wonder how I could help myself and my fellow soldiers rest better.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

A two hand held, fleece covered, foam pad, which when held in the hands, molds and contours around the chin or face of the user, to support the head for the purpose of napping anywhere.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

“The Millennium Power Napping System” can be described as an approximately 10½″ W x 25″L two hand held foam pad, covered in soft fleece material, which when held in the hands, molds and contours around the chin or face of the user to support the head for the purpose napping in office spaces or anywhere on the go. There is also a fleece covered elbow resting pad which gives the user more stability and elbow comfort. This elbow resting pad is attached to the under portion of the upper chin support group by (2) approximately 24 inch elastic straps. (See photo # 1-2 for details)

The user slips both hands into the hand right and left pouches, which have been sown into the bottom portion of the upper chin support group. (See photo #5 for details) The hand pouches are nicely lined with lamb's wool for more comfort.

Once the hands are in the support pouches it helps to lock the hands into place.

This adds to the head support. The pouches also can provide warmth for the hands in cold weather climates. Once the hands are locked into place within the pouches, the elbows can then be adjusted to rest on the elbow support pad on the surface below. (See photo #6 for details)

The MPNS can be stored by tucking each end of the elbow support pad into the right and left hand pouches until ready to use again. (See photos # 3-4 for details) The entire system can easily be cleaned by removing the pads from the slits in material the base of the upper chin support group, and the elbow resting pad, washing and air drying.

Claims

1. Specifically, I claim to have invented the design, size, shape, and idea of materials used for the sleep system (MPNS) referred to above. I claim to have invented the idea of the support hand pouches (lamb's wool lined) where the hands are inserted for greater support and stability. In addition to this, I am claiming to have invented the idea for an elbow support pad, that is joined to the lower portion of the upper chin support group by (2) elastic straps. Furthermore, I claim to have created the idea and concept of the elbow pads being tucked away into the hand pouches for storage. In conclusion, to the best of my knowledge, I (Bryant Kelley Wooten Sr.) claim that my invention, The Millennium Power Napping System, is unique in every way and thereby stands alone in concept of construction.
