BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

Hereinafter, the tent structure according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a tent structure according to the present invention; FIG. 2 is a detailed perspective view of parts of a height control apparatus of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of parts of a height control apparatus of FIG. 2, FIGS. 4a and 4b are cross-sectional views of B-B line showing a combination relation of a tent frame and a tent surface material of FIG. 1, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of C-C line of a three-fold window structure of FIG. 1.

As shown in the drawings, a tent 100 has a predetermined width and area entirely. Its appearance is formed by covering a predetermined form of an iron frame with a tent surface material such as tarpaulin.

Reference numeral 10 shows a tent surface material cover such as tarpaulin for covering the appearance of the tent 100. Reference numeral 4 is a door installed to a front surface of the tent 100.

Reference numeral 20 shows a height control apparatus, as one of characteristics of the present invention and a plurality of height control apparatuses are installed for assembling the tent 100. In this regard, it will be described hereinafter.

Reference numeral 30 shows a three-folded window, as another characteristic of the present invention, a plurality of the windows are installed for assembling the tent 100. In this regard, it will be described hereinafter.

Also, as another characteristic of the present invention, a combination relation of a tent frame and a tent surface material, that is, tarpaulin material cover will be described hereinafter.

At first, the height control apparatus 20, as a characteristic of the present invention, will be described. The height control apparatus 20 comprises a base plate 210, a middle support member 220, a height control means 230, and a fixing means 240 for combining the height control means 230 and another frame 300.

The base plate 210 is positioned at the earth or a concrete bottom surface in order to support the tent 100 at the lowest position. At an upper surface of the base plate 210, a pair of guide members 212 are protruded upwardly and installed facing each other and a stopper member 214 is installed in the vicinity of the guide members 212. When necessary, a plurality of holes 211 are formed at the base plate 210 for fixing it to the earth by using an anchor bolt.

The middle support member 220 has a predetermined height and shape. Although it is described as a hollow cylinder shape, it does not limited to that and various shapes are possible. In the middle support member 220, its inside is a hollow type and its bottom is opened. At an upper surface of the middle support member 220, a predetermined size of a hole is formed and at a lower surface of the middle support member 220, a flange member 222 is extended and formed along the circumference of the cylinder shape. The flange member 222 is guided by the guide member 212 of the base plate 210, positioned until the stopper member 214 and then fixed to the base plate 210.

The height control means 230 comprises a U type support plate 234. The predetermined shape(a rectangular shape of FIG. 2) bottom support frame or pipe 300 is installed within the U type support plate 234 and at this state, a fixing means 240 such a bolt is penetrated to a side of the frame 300 and then the fixing means 240 is fixed by a nut 242 at the other side of the frame 300. As a result, the entire iron frames for supporting the tent 100 are fixed firmly, so that the tent is less affected by wind.

On the other hand, at the lower surface of the support plate 234, a predetermined length of a screw rod 232, as a straight line, is protruded and fixed downwardly and perpendicularly. A nut 236 is screwed at the screw rod 232 movably up and down and a bottom support member 238 is fixed to the end of the screw rod 232. In the height control means 230, the screw rod 232 is penetrated to a hole 224 of the middle support member 220 and installed to the inside of the middle support member 220. Also, the screw rod 232 is fixed at the upper surface of the middle support member 220 through the nut 232 combined with the screw rod 232.

A user can control the height of the height control means 230 by rotating the nut 236.

As another characteristic of the present invention, a combination relation of a tent frame and a tent surface material, that is, tarpaulin material cover will be described hereinafter. The tent surface cover made of tarpaulin material 10 for forming the appearance of the tent surrounds a predetermined shape of a frame or pipe 302 and a combined member 50, such as Velcro fastener, is inwardly formed at a predetermined portion of an end of the cover 10. Also, the combined member 50, such as Velcro fastener, is formed to the frame or pipe 302 at the position corresponding to the combined member 50. In FIG. 4a, an arrow mark shows a combination direction of the combined member 50 of the frame or pipe 302 and the combination member 50 of the tent surface material cover 10. Accordingly, since the tent surface material cover 10 of polyolefin group material and the iron frame or pipe 302 is combined without a separate welding technique, the tent combination structure is simple.

On the other hand, a three-fold window structure as another characteristic of the present invention will be described hereinafter. In a tent 100, a plurality of windows are installed. A predetermined portion of the tent surface material cover 10 is opened with a predetermined shape such as a rectangular shape and then a window 30 is formed to the opening portion. At the opening portion, there are three types windows. At first, a screen mesh, such as a mosquito net, is installed at the middle portion at the opening portion of the tent surface material cover 10. At the outside of the opening portion of the tent surface material cover 10, an outside window member 14, in which its material is identical to that of the cover 10, is installed and it can be rolled up upwardly. Also, at the inside of the opening portion of the tent surface material cover 10, an inside window member 16 is installed and also it can be rolled up upwardly(described as dotted line). When the outside window member 14 is made of an opaque type and the inside window member 16 is made of a transparent type, a user rolls up the outside window 14 only and can see the outside from the inside of the tent 100 through the inside window member 16, thereby capable of maintaining the room temperature constantly or preventing noises from generating.

On the other hand, although it is not described, at the lowest portion of the frames, a waterproof cover made of a tarpaulin material is positioned and then a veneer board is located on the cover. Velcro tapes(male) are formed and combined at inside of four edges of the waterproof cover. Accordingly, when the Velcro tapes between the waterproof cover and the tent surface material cover(female Velcro tapes) are combined with each other, the inside and outside of the tent are separated from each other. That is, water or air cannot be communicated with the inside and outside of the tent like an airtight state.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY

As discussed earlier, according to the tent structure in accordance with the present invention, there are several advantages that since a tent can be installed by using a height control apparatus without any limitation of the bottom surface or the surface of land, the installation of the tent is simple. That is, a new type tent, separated from the surface of land with a constant distance, such as a look-out shed type, can be provided.

Also, due to the three fold type window of the tent, the room temperature of the tent can be maintained constantly and noise from the outside can be reduced.

Additionally, when assembling the tent, since the combination of the tent surface material cover and the frame or pipe can be accomplished simply, the man-hour and the cost for assembling the tent are reduced.
