Hairpin with a bendable connection

Abstract

A hairpin comprises a base sheet; a clamping sheet; and a bendable portion formed at the connection of the base sheet and the clamping sheet so that the hairpin is openable and closeable. The base sheet has a long hole. The slide-stop protruding strip is installed on the base sheet. When the body of the clamping sheet resists against the base sheet, the body will press the hairs upon the protruding strip of the slide-stop strip so as to clamp and fix the hair. The hair will not slide out as in the prior art due to the smoothness of the metal sheets. The textured or figured protruding strip serves to provide a beautiful outlook.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates hairpins, and in particular to a hairpin with a bendable portion, wherein a clamping sheet and a base sheet are integrally formed and a bendable portion is formed at the connection of the base sheet and the clamping sheet so that the hairpin is openable and closeable. Hairs clamped by the hairpin will not be hurt.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

Generally, hairpins, hair rings, hair clasps, bobby pins, etc. are used to order hairs. Currently, hairpins are most frequently used one, which make people can order her hairs easily and conveniently.

Referring to FIGS. 6 to 8, the structure of a prior art hairpin is illustrated. The hairpin 1 has the following elements.

A base sheet 11 and a clamping sheet 12. One end of the base sheet 11 is movably buckled to one end of the clamping sheet 12. Another end of the base sheet 11 is movably pivoted to another end of the clamping sheet 12 by two different pivotal sheets 13. In general, the pivotal sheets 13 have gaps therein. Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, gaps are formed between a lateral side of the clamping sheet 12 and the pivotal sheet 13. In the pivotal rotation, the gaps will move closer. However it induced that the hairs 14 are hurt by a stress force applied from the clamping sheet 12 or the pivotal sheet 13.

Furthermore, although the prior art hairpin has the function of clamping hair, but the clamping sheet 12 and the metal elastic sheet 15 are made of smooth metals. In use, the hair is possible to slide out not to achieve the effect of fixing hair. Thus the user must adjust the hairpin many times and thus it induces a trouble to users.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a hairpin, in that the clamping sheet and base sheet are integrally formed and a bendable portion formed at the connection of the base sheet and the clamping sheet so that the hairpin is openable and closeable. Hairs clamped by the hairpin will not be hurt.

To achieve above objects, the present invention provides a hairpin which comprises a base sheet; a clamping sheet; and a bendable portion formed at the connection of the base sheet and the clamping sheet so that the hairpin is openable and closeable. The base sheet has a long hole. The slide-stop protruding strip is installed on the base sheet. When the body of the clamping sheet resists against the base sheet. The body will press the hairs upon the protruding strip of the slide-stop strip so as to clamp and fix the hair. The hair will not slide out as in that in the prior art due to the smoothness of the metal sheets. The textured or figured protruding strip serves to provide a beautiful outlook.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be described in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

With reference to FIGS. 4, 5 and 6, the structure of the hairpin 9 of the present invention is illustrated. The hairpin 9 has the following elements.

A base sheet 2 has a long hole 21. One end of the base sheet 2 is formed with a pair of closable sheets 23, 24 and a pair of hooks 25, 26. The closable sheets 23, 24 are elastically connected to the hooks, respectively.

A clamping sheet 3 is integrally formed with the base sheet 2. The clamping sheet 3 has a body 31 and clamping portion 32. The clamping portion 32 has a receiving space 32. Each of two sides of the receiving space 32 has a wing 33, 34. The hooks 25, 26 can be hooked to the wings 33, 34, respectively. When the pair of the closable sheets 23, 24 are pressed, the hooks 25, 26 will release from the wings 33, 34.

A bendable portion 90 is formed at the connection of the base sheet 2 and the clamping sheet 3 so that the hairpin 9 is openable and closeable.

A slide-stop strip 5 has a plane base 51. A protruding strip 52 extends from an upper side of the plane base 51. The protruding strip 52 has a semi-round or a cambered cross section. The protruding strip 52 can pass through the long hole 21 of the base sheet 2. The function of the protruding strip 52 has the effect of slide-stop.

A decorating plate 6 is a plate with textures or figures thereon. The decorating plate 6 is adhered or riveted to a surface of the base sheet 2 to have a beautiful outlook.

In the present invention, the slide-stop protruding strip 52 is installed on the base sheet 2. When the body 31 of the clamping sheet 3 resists against the base sheet 2, the body will press the hairs 7 upon the protruding strip 52 of the slide-stop strip 5 (referring to FIG. 8) so as to clamp and fix the hair. The hair will not slide out as in the prior art due to the smoothness of the metal sheets. The textured or figured protruding strip 52 of the base sheet 2 have any desired shapes or textures, such as particles or wave shapes so as to provide a beautiful outlook. Referring to FIG. 7, in the present invention, by the bending design of the base sheet 2 and the clamping sheet 3, the pivotal way in the prior art is not used so that the defects in the prior art are avoided and the present invention is a safety design.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A hairpin comprising:

a base sheet;

a clamping sheet; and

a bendable portion formed at the connection of the base sheet and the clamping sheet so that the hairpin is openable and closeable.

2. The hairpin as claimed in claim 1, wherein the base sheet has a long hole.

3. The hairpin as claimed in claim 1, wherein one end of the base sheet is formed with a pair of closable sheets and a pair of hooks; the closable sheets are elastically connected to the hooks, respectively.

4. The hairpin as claimed in claim 3, wherein the clamping sheet has a body and clamping portion; the clamping portion has a receiving space; each of two sides of the receiving space has a wing; the hooks can be hooked to the wings, respectively; wherein when the pair of the closable sheets are pressed, the hooks will release from the wings.

5. The hairpin as claimed in claim 1, further comprising:

a slide-stop strip having a plane base; a protruding strip extending from the plane base for sliding-stop; the protruding strip can pass through the long hole of the base sheet.

6. The hairpin as claimed in claim 1, further comprising:

a decorating plate being a plate with textures or figures thereon and the decorating plate is adhered or riveted to an surface of the base sheet to have a beautiful outlook.
