Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a handle set on a bottle and includes two equal-length protrusions such that the handle set can be installed to the bottle without limitation of orientation.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional handle set 6 for a bottle is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 and generally includes a handle portion 61 and a first protrusion 62 and a second protrusion 64 extending from the handle portion 61. A connection portion 63 is connected between the first protrusion 62 and the second protrusion 64. Each of the first and second protrusions 62, 64 has a convex. A bottle 5 includes a recess defined in an outer periphery thereof so that the handle set 6 is connected to the recess. The recess includes two connection notches 51 with which the two convexes on the first and second protrusions 62, 64 are engaged. A stop 612 extends along a top of the handle portion 61 and contacts against the outer periphery of the bottle 5 to further position the handle set 6. When assembling the handle set 6 to the bottles, a vibration feeding machine is used to send the handle sets 6 one by one to the assembling line. Because the handle portion 61 is heavier than the connection portion 63, so that the vibration feeding machine can easily organize the orientation of the handle set 6 to the assembling line. Nevertheless, the first protrusion 62 and the second protrusion 64 are different in length and weight so that the vibration feeding machine cannot distinguish the two protrusions 62, 64. Therefore, the handle set 6 might be arranged to orient the first protrusion 62 on the top or the second protrusion 64 on the top. Manual inspection is needed to correct the orientation.

The present invention intends to provide a handle set having two protrusions of equal length and weight so that the handle set can be connected to the bottles without limitation of orientation.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a handle set for bottles and the handle set comprises a handle portion and two protrusions extend from an inside of the handle portion. The two protrusions have the same length.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is an exploded view to show a bottle and the handle set of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a cross sectional view to show that the handle set is connected to a bottle;

FIG. 3 is an exploded view to show another embodiment of the handle set of the present invention;

FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view to show that the handle set in FIG. 3 is connected to a bottle;

FIG. 5 shows that a conventional handle set is connected to a bottle, and

FIG. 6 is a cross sectional view to show that the conventional handle set is connected to a bottle.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the handle set 2 for bottles 1 of the present invention comprises a handle portion 21 and two protrusions 22 extending from an inside of the handle portion 21. The two protrusions 22 have the same length and each of the two protrusions 22 has a convex extending from an out side thereof. The handle portion 21 includes a straight outside 212 and a straight inside 211. The bottle 1 includes a recess defined in an outer periphery thereof and two connection notches 51 are defined in an inside of the recess. The two protrusions 22 are inserted into the recess and the two respective convexes of the two protrusions 22 are engaged with the two connection notches 51. Two stops 214 extend along two ends of the outside of the handle portion 21 so as to contact against the outer periphery of the bottle 1.

When assembling the handle set 2 to the bottles 1, a vibration feeding machine is used to feed the handle sets 6 one by one to the assembling lines. Because the handle portion 21 is the most heavier part of the handle set 2 so that the vibration feeding machine can easily organize the orientation of the handle set 2 to the assembling lines. In addition, the tow protrusions 22 are the same size and length so that no matter what orientation the handle set 2 is sent to the assembling lines, the handle sets 2 can be directly connected to the bottles 1.

FIGS. 3 and 4 show another embodiment of the present invention, wherein the handle portion 21 includes a curve outside 215 and a curve inside 213. Two stop 214 extend along two ends of the curve outside 215 of the handle portion 21. A connection plate 23 is connected between the two protrusions 22 so as to reinforce the structural strength of the two protrusions 22.

The two protrusions 22 have the same structure and length so that the manufacturing molds are simplified and thus reducing manufacturing cost.

While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
