A Road Salient Reflector Nail

The present invention provides a road salient reflector nail typically consisted of a plate with a shell, reflector straps and filling block; said reflector straps are separately bonded on the shell; said filling block is fastened on the inside of the shell, there are complex number of through reverse-taper holes formed on said filling block vertically, thereby filling and coating epoxy adhesive over the bottom surface of said main body including said reverse-taper holes bonds on the ground. This structure can obtain high adhesive force grabbing the ground, higher stable mounting, lower manufacturing cost, and higher intensity for guarantee the reflector nail use in normal and bring the alerting effect into action.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a road signal accessory, and more particularly to a retaining structure of salient reflector nail.

2. Description of Prior Art

In accordance with a conventional technology, as shown in FIG. 1, a road salient reflector nail is typically comprised of a plastic main body 1′ and reflector straps 2′, said reflector straps 2′ are separately retained into the groove of said main body 1′ by ultrasonic welding or gluing to finish a road salient reflecting nail goods.

In construction, by coating an epoxy adhesive 3′ on the bottom surface of the main body 1′, the road salient reflecting nail is bonded on the road surface.

But, there are some shortcomings existed in above-said nail as follows:

  • 1. because the stick just only depends on a thin epoxy adhesive 3′, the reflector nail can not get enough adhesive force to grab ground, and can not stand on after a certain use term so as to loose off departing the ground, further to affect normal use and altering effect;
  • 2. Due to the high requirement on the surface material of the reflector nail, and the main body 1′ is a whole body, the material cost of the goods is in high level.

OBJECTS AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a salient reflector nail with high adhesive force, stable mounting, and low production cost, so as to guarantee to use in normal and alert effect.

For archiving the goal, the present invention provides a salient reflector nail typically comprising of a shell, reflector straps and filling block; said reflector straps are separately bonded on the shell; said filling block is fastened on the inside of the shell, there are complex number of through reverse-taper holes formed on said filling block vertically, thereby filling and coating epoxy adhesive over the bottom surface of said main body including said reverse-taper holes bonds on the ground.

Wherein, said reflector straps are respectively retained on the shell by ultrasonic welding or gluing.

Said filling block is connected to the shell by ultrasonic welding or gluing too.

Due to applying above-mentioned structure, comparing with the prior art, the present invention has following advantages:

  • 1. due to the complex-number reverse-taper holes formed on the filling block, the whole reflector nail is bonded on the ground by the bottom bond line and solidified reverse-taper bars coated and filled on the bottom side and the reverse-taper holes with epoxy, so the adhesive force grabbing the ground is enhanced, the mounting is became more stably so as to avoid loosing off or falling off the ground, and guarantee the reflector nail use in normal, really bring the alerting effect into action;
  • 2. because two components shell and filling block take the place of the main body of the prior art, they can be made of different material—the shell is made of good material, and the filling block is made of cheaper material, under getting the quality requirement of product, the manufacturing cost is reduced.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a scheme of the prior art.

FIG. 2 is a scheme of the present invention.

FIG. 3 is a cross-section view of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 2, a salient reflector nail provided of the present invention is typically consisted of a shell 1, reflector straps 2 and filling block 3.

Wherein, said reflector straps 2 are respectively retained on the shell 1 by ultrasonic welding or gluing.

Said filling block 3 is connected to the shell 1 by ultrasonic welding or gluing too. In the combination structure integrated the shell 1 and the filling block 3, the shell can be made of good material, and the filling block 3 can be made of cheaper material, under getting the quality requirement of product, the manufacturing cost is reduced.

Said filling block 3 is drilled complex-number of reverse-taper holes 31, the proper number of the reverse-taper holes 31 is depended on the design. So, referring to FIG. 3, the whole reflector nail is bonded on the ground by the bottom bond line and solidified reverse-taper bars coated and filled on the bottom side and the reverse-taper holes 31 with epoxy, so the adhesive force grabbing the ground is enhanced, the mounting is became more stably so as to avoid loosing off or falling off the ground, and guarantee the reflector nail use in normal, really bring it into action of alerting effect.
